Wahaj waited patiently for the next day, and even after nightfall had descended on the city, he snuck back into the palace and went to the house where the man was being held captive.
Wahaj arrived at the man and did the same as he did the first time; he waited for the guards to sleep and entered the man's place from behind. Wahaj was disguised so that the man wouldn't recognize him or his identity. Wahaj succeeded in smuggling the man out of captivity and took him to another location until it was time for the mission.
Wahaj detained the man in a house close to the war square so that he would be close to where they gathered, and it would be easy for him to carry out the mission. Wahaj described Nalan's appearance to the man and told him that he had to get rid of him in a way that no one would notice. The man asked Wahaj who he was and why he wanted to get rid of Nalan. Wahaj replied, "Don't ask any questions; it doesn't matter who I am. All you have to do is to carry out the mission, and then you will be free forever, and you will receive a considerable amount of money."
The man agreed, saying, "Okay, it doesn't matter who you are, but what matters to me is that I take revenge on Tiam for what he did to me. This is the golden opportunity that has come to me, and I will make him suffer when he loses his son." Wahaj instructed the man to stay in that place, and at five o'clock in the evening, everyone would gather in the war square, including King Tiam, his son Nalan, and another young man who would be with him. The man had to choose the right time to carry out what was required of him, either before or after the mission. The requirement was for Nalan to be lost, and he shouldn't be present anymore.
Today passed and the awaited time for the execution of the final task in the first law has come, and after that, we will know who the expected winner will be. It's time for the task, and everyone is on their way to the battlefield; Khalid, Nalan, and Tiam. And behind them is Hajj, but no one noticed that the man responsible for getting rid of Nalan was walking behind them from a distance. Now everyone is in the battlefield, Khalid and Nalan stand in front of each other, while Tiam sits far away in the audience seats, both Khalid and Tiam hold their books ready for the appearance of the being who will announce the beginning of the penultimate round and the last instructions in this law. Meanwhile, everyone is waiting, and Wahaj and the man are standing far away on the opposite side of Tiam, but without making him notice. Hajj said to the man, "How will you get rid of Nalan? Will you let him start the task, or will you get rid of him after the task?" The man looked at Hajj and said to him, "Not now. We will wait until they both return. Then it will be his last meeting in this place." The being appeared to announce the start of the task, saying, "Oh, the chosen ones, the time for the end has come, and this is the penultimate task in the first law. Winning it will make you enter the final task directly, and then we will announce the winner, whose name will be immortalized in the tribes for the next hundred years. The penultimate and final tasks are full of risks. You must pass all the steps and instructions because there is more than one thing that you must overcome. You must overcome all of them to win."
While this creature was giving instructions to Khalid and Nalan regarding the mission, the hired man suddenly pulled an arrow from his quiver and shot one arrow at Nalan and another at Tiam. They were shocked and confused as the man violated the agreement and tried to kill them before the mission even began. Not only did he shoot Nalan in the back, but the other arrow pierced Tiam's stomach. The creature quickly brought them infront of him, and Nalan, Tiam, and Khalid were shocked to see people who wanted to ruin the mission and wanted to kill them. The creature removed the mask from Haji and that man, but Nalan, Tiam, and Khalid could not believe what they saw. It was Wahaj, Tiam's son and Nalan's brother. How could he do this? Wahaj was in a state of shame and did not know where to hide from his father, as his plan had been exposed, and he was now in trouble.
Nalan was in pain as his blood began to flow to the ground and he began to weaken. Tiam could not believe what he saw, as he too began to weaken from the effects of the arrow that also pierced his stomach. He said to his son Wahaj, "What have you done, Wahaj? How could you conspire against us and want to kill us? How did you change like this? Is this what I taught you, my son? Everything was in your hands, and you, Tiam's son, the son of the king of Washindi." The hired man looked at Wahaj and laughed, "You are also Tiam's son. What a great tragedy on your head, Tiam. Your son hired me to get rid of your other son, but I found an opportunity to get rid of you too, for what you did to me over the years, and for depriving me of seeing my family. Now you are in a crisis between your two sons." Wahaj shouted and said, "Nalan is not my brother, nor is he the son of my father. Isn't this the secret that you kept from us, father? Listen, Nalan, you are the twin of this young man.
My father Tiam kidnapped you as revenge against your real father, who was responsible for killing my elder sister. You are the grandson of Salmani, the son of Qasim, and the twin of Khaled. I don't know why my father didn't kill you and instead made you his son and favored you over me and my sister. Everyone is in shock and disbelief about what they are hearing.
Nalan and Khaled also hear the truth that Nalan is not Tiam's son and that Hatun is not his mother. Khaled and Nalan are brothers. The creature orders everyone to be quiet until both Nalan and Tiam are treated.
Suddenly, a cage is brought into the battlefield, and Wahaj and the hired killer are put in it. A carpet is laid on the ground, and Nalan and Tiam are placed on it for treatment. Everyone is shocked by what is happening; it is unexpected for them. Tiam is shocked by his son; he didn't know that his son knew the secret he had hidden all these years. Nalan is also shocked after knowing that Khaled is his brother and twin and that Tiam is not his father.
He is in disbelief about what is happening, and tears flow down his cheeks. Doctors are called to treat Tiam and Nalan, where they remove the arrows and begin treating the wounds, and Nalan and Tiam gradually regain consciousness and recover. After five hours of treatment, Tiam and Nalan recover their health, while Wahaj and the man are still trapped in the cage, watching what is happening around them. Wahaj is worried about his father and happy when he regains consciousness and begins to improve along with Nalan, where he regrets what he did. The creature says that now that Nalan has recovered, the situation has changed, and the sixth and seventh and final tasks of the first law will not be between Khaled and Nalan, but between Khaled and Wahaj, as Nalan is no longer from the Tiam tribe but from the Salmani tribe. Therefore, Wahaj will complete the final task, and the winner will be the one who the tribes will sing his name for the coming years.
The order was for Nalan to deliver the book to Wahaj and for Nalan to remain at rest until the last two missions with Khaled and Wahaj were completed. After that, Nalan could choose how his life would be, but this is not the time to talk about that. We must finish this mission first, and any other talk can wait until the last task in this law is completed.
Wahaj came out of the cage while the hired man remained trapped, and Wahaj was afraid because he did not train like Nalan before. It is possible that he might lose these missions and Khaled could win, but he must not show his fear to his father because he wants to be in Nalan's place. Wahaj moved towards Nalan, feeling ashamed to look into his brother's eyes after what he did. He took the book from him hesitantly.
Khaled and Wahaj stood side by side, and the creature began dictating the instructions to them. "Listen, both of you. Now that Nalan has been replaced by Wahaj, you both need to be careful. The last two missions in this law are the toughest missions because they consist of several tasks that you must all overcome to reach the end and return here with the victory cup. The one who can reach the victory cup at the end of the last mission and return to the battlefield will be the winner. Are you both ready?" Khaled said, "Yes, I am ready to take on the last mission," and Wahaj, with fear filling his heart, said, "I am also ready." The creature said, "Alright, then both of you should open your books and follow the instructions that I will give you." Khaled and Wahaj both opened their books.
In the book of Khaled, "Oh chosen Khaled, the time for the sixth mission has come. You must turn right until the end of the battlefield. There, you will find a red flag. Approach it and grab it. After that, you will find yourself in a different place. Then, go back and open the book." Khaled followed the instructions of the book and went to the end of the battlefield to the right, where he found the red flag and grabbed it. Suddenly, he found himself in a strange place surrounded by glass, a transparent place with no beginning or end.
He opened his book eagerly and read the instructions, "Oh second chosen one, you must turn left until the end of the battlefield on the left. There, you will find a statue in the form of a lion. When you reach there, place your hand on it and you will find yourself in a different place." Wahaj followed the instructions and walked until the end of the battlefield on the left where he found the lion statue. After placing his hand on it, he found himself in a strange place filled with rocks and red and brown mountains, a desert-like place where he didn't know what to expect.
Khalid opened the book to find out what the next instructions were. "O chosen one, in this glassy transparent place, there are transparent creatures around you. They can see you, but because they are transparent, you cannot see them. You must know how to see them in order to deal with them in this task. If you can see them and make them non-transparent, then the king of this place will guide you on the way out of this glassy place so that you can reach the second part of the task that you must overcome. There, you must open the book again for the new instructions."
On the other side, Wahaj was in this mountainous desert place filled with mountains and rocks, he remembered that he had to open the book to know the rest of the instructions. Wahaj opened the book, "O chosen one in this rocky place, you must find the Gray King of this place, as he sometimes takes on different forms in the place, so you don't know how to distinguish him if he is a person or something else. If you can find him and wake him up from sleep, then you must make him guide you to the way out of this place. If you manage to get out of there, you can open the book again to know the rest of the mission."
Khalid began searching for transparent objects in this glassy place. He went right, left, east, and west, searching for them, but he couldn't see them, and he didn't know how he could see them. They were around him everywhere, seeing him, but he couldn't see them. The place was transparent and empty, and there seemed to be no life in it. The task was difficult to be able to see transparent creatures, but he didn't know what these creatures looked like. Are they humans, jinn, or animals? He didn't know their nature. Khalid continued searching for them everywhere and thinking a lot to find a solution that would enable him to see them. He finally came up with an idea, saying to himself that if these creatures are transparent, it means they are only invisible, but their bodies can be felt. So if he threw something on them, like clothes or flour, he could feel them and see if their bodies were just hidden from the eye and not like creatures that can penetrate solid bodies like souls or ethereal bodies. Khalid began to analyze the nature of the creatures and put possibilities. Now he had to find something to throw at them. He should try something like a scarf first and walk around the place and see if he could feel them and if he could see them if he put something on them. He began to do so, walking around the place and seeing if he would collide with any of these creatures or not, but the scarf didn't stick to anything, as if they were air around him and no one was present. This idea did not work with him, so he had to try something else. He had to search the place for a substance of a color like flour or powder and put it on the ground and see if he could see their footprints or not. Khalid indeed succeeded in obtaining a container of powder that was hidden in a place surrounded by glass. Khalid broke the glass around him and managed to get the powder out. He began throwing the powder on the ground and waited to see if there were any movements around him or not. After placing the powder, Khalid sat in a distant place to see the powder on the ground, whether there were things walking around him or not. Indeed, footprints began to appear on the ground, footprints resembling those of humans .
He realized that there were creatures around him that resembled humans, as well as animals wandering around him. Khalid began to trace the trail of a different foot than everyone else's, as it was broad with only three fingers and a huge size. Khalid took some powder in his hands and walked behind this trail, then threw the powder in the air in the space where this creature was walking, until a huge entity appeared in front of him with hollow and wide eyes, a horn in the middle of its forehead, and a crown on its head. Khalid knew that this was the king who should guide him to the way out of this glass place. The king greeted Khalid and said to him that he had succeeded in this task of showing them the way, and now he must guide him to the way out so that he can complete the rest of his mission. The king took him to a glass tree, but its leaves were green. The king told him that there was a door in the tree, but it was made of glass, and he would find a button inside it that he had to press, and the door would open for him to enter. He would find himself in the second place where he had to open his book and read the instructions for the rest of the mission. Khalid did as the king had instructed him and left this place and found himself in a new, different place.
On the other side, Wahaj was still stuck in this rocky place, searching for the Gray King, but he continued his search without success. Khalid moved on to the second stage of the mission. Wahaj sat down and cried, revealing his weakness and that he was a failure, unable to succeed in anything alone. He had put himself in a dilemma, not knowing how to get out of it. He is now paying the price for his crime, and it seems that he will remain stuck in this place for a long time until he can find the Gray King, wake him up from his sleep, and guide him to the way out.
Wahaj was stuck in the first part of the mission, still searching for the Grey King whom he didn't know how to find or recognize in this rocky mountainous place. Wahaj began to weaken and cry like a child until his tears fell on one of the rocks he was leaning on.
When his tears fell on the rock, Wahaj noticed that the rock's features were changing as if it was alive. The rock began to move, and Wahaj realized that the rock was the Grey King himself. Wahaj had succeeded in waking him up from his slumber, and the Grey King appeared before him and said that he would guide him to the exit gate of this place. The Grey King told Wahaj that he needed to go with him to find a grey rock gate, and on this gate, there was a sword on the top that he should get. After that, he should put the sword's tooth in the keyhole to open the gate because the sword acted as the key to the gate.
The Grey King showed Wahaj the gate's location, and when they reached it, he told Wahaj that his mission ended there, and he should get the sword from the top of the gate and open it to enter. Inside, he should open the book to learn the rest of the instructions, and the Grey King left him to climb the rocky gate and get the sword. The rocks were a bit sharp, but Wahaj managed to overcome them and reached the sword. He then descended to stand in front of the gate, inserted the sword as the key, and succeeded in entering the gate, finding himself in a new place.
Now it is time for the second part of the tasks, which will be the seventh and final task in the first law with both Khalid and Wahaj. After Khalid passed the first part of the task and found himself in another place surrounded by dense trees and water flowing beneath them with algae floating on the surface, he found himself in a huge forest, in its trees and plants where the plants on the side are huge, each plant is four meters tall.
The place seems beautiful with its greenery and water beneath it, but at the same time, it is frightening because of the enormity of everything in it. Khalid opened the book and began reading the following instructions: "O chosen one, you are now in the Dragon Forest, where a dragon and a dragoness live, and they have four children. It happened 20,000 years ago that this forest was filled with a world of dragons until a war broke out between two tribes of them, and all its inhabitants perished except for the dragon and dragoness, who had hidden from the horror of the war in the Cave of Darkness.
When they returned, they found no one alive in the forest except for them. They grew up, married, and gave birth to four children, but these children had no other offspring. These six dragons are the last of their kind since then and are still alive to this day. Your task now is to retrieve the golden egg from the Cave of Darkness and then search the forest for the dragon and dragoness on the highest mountains of the forest, as this time of year is their hibernation period, which lasts for six months. You must retrieve the egg and then return to the high mountain and place the egg in a nest next to them. Then return to the forest and search for their four children and gather them together, and then ask them to take you to the Land of Salvation, where the final part of the final task of this law begins, which is the battle to obtain the Cup of Victory."
On the other side, Wahaj had entered from the tree to go to another place where he found himself in the land of the red ghosts. The place was very scary for him, but he held himself together and opened the book to learn the new instructions. "Oh, chosen one, you are now in the land of the red ghosts. This land is a forsaken land where the red ghosts reside, due to the blood that has flowed on it since ancient times. Your mission is to search for a ghost named Sani, who has been imprisoned in this land for five centuries and suffers every day. He is hidden in a prison called Al-Qaisaron, and you must find it, where the black blood stains drawn on the rocks of this land will guide you to the path leading to the prison.
Your mission is to free Sani from the prison and then make him guide you to the path leading to the land of Shemshon. You must bring the white palm hanging on the zizafon tree, then return to the land of the ghosts and enter the gate of the moons and place the white palm on the gate.
Then the gate will open, and you will enter it, and there you will open the book to learn the rest of the final instructions for this mission."
Khaled began wandering in the huge forest in search of the Cave of Darkness, where the mission to search for the golden egg begins. Clues around Khaled led him to the Cave of Darkness, where there were signs on the trees, indicating the way. Khaled followed the arrows drawn on the trees until he reached the Cave of Darkness.
There was a gate at the entrance of the cave, which Khaled had to knock on to see if anyone would answer. Khaled knocked on the door, but no one responded. He had to find a way to open the gate, so he found a red button on the side of the gate, which he pressed. The gate opened, and Khaled entered the cave, searching for the golden egg. The cave was terrifying, and darkness covered it everywhere, and Khaled could not see anything inside the cave because of the darkness. He had to find a ray of light or even a fire to light his way while he was thinking. However, he began to hear a voice and a whisper telling him to move forward to the end of the road, where he would find a ray of light that would lead him to the location of the egg.
He had to fight the egg's guard to obtain it. Khaled began to move towards the end of the road, and he found the ray of light, which led him to the location of the golden egg. However, the egg was inside a cage, guarded by a huge and scary-looking monster with a face like a lion, huge horns, a long tail, and giant hands holding a sword to protect the egg. Fear struck Khaled's heart, as he had to figure out how to reach the egg inside the cage and how to get the key, which was hanging around the guard's neck. There was a distance of about three meters between Khaled and the guard, and Khaled was hiding behind a rock, thinking about how to reach the egg. He had to wait for the guard to sleep, and then he could sneak up on him and steal the key from around his neck to open the door of the cage and takes the egg, but it seems that Khalid will wait for a long time.
Hours passed and he waited without sleeping. This guard didn't even sit down to rest. The situation became difficult for Khalid as he waited behind the rock. He started to feel tired, and it seemed that sleep would overcome him. Indeed, sleep overpowered Khalid as he slept behind the rock. In his dream, he began to see a strange man whom he didn't know, telling him that to overcome the guard, he must sing to him. Khalid was surprised by this and asked him, "Sing to him what? Should I sing anything or is there a specific song?" The man replied, "No, there is a specific song that you must sing. If you sing it, the guard will fall into a deep sleep." Khalid asked, "Tell me, what is this song?" The man sang the song beautifully, and after singing it, the guard fell into a deep sleep."
On a terrifyingly dark night
A vigilant guard sits
His heart is perfectly fine
And in his eyes a pomegranate seed gleams
On a terrifyingly dark night
A vigilant guard sits.
Khaled woke up amazed by what he saw in his dream. Did he really see it? And if he sang the song, would the guard fall into a deep sleep? Khaled gathered his nerves and began to remember the lyrics of the song he saw in his dream and how the man sang it to him. He started singing the song with a beautiful voice.
The guard began to hear the lyrics of the song, and he smiled as he remembered when his father used to sing this song to him before he went to sleep when he was young. Khaled repeated the song several times until the guard started to yawn and fell asleep. The guard even sat on the ground and entered a deep sleep. Khaled couldn't believe what he saw. He had succeeded in overcoming the guard and making him sleep. Khaled approached the guard to take the key from his neck, but every time he approached the guard, the guard turned to the other side until he finally succeeded in taking the key.
He took the key from him quickly, and opened the cage and takes the golden egg from it. Then he started running quickly to exit the cave of darkness, to search for the highest mountains in the forest, to go to the sleeping dragon and dragoness there, to place the golden egg beside them.
Khalid came out of the cave of darkness and began to follow the signs once again on the trees that indicate the location of the highest mountain in the forest. The peak of the highest mountain in the forest began to appear, and Khalid had to climb the mountain to reach the sleeping dragons. It would take some time for Khalid to reach the dragons' location.
It took him a whole day to climb the mountain, and he finally reached the dragons. He found them in a deep sleep, sleeping next to each other. Khalid placed the golden egg next to them in a prepared nest and began to descend from the mountain, returning to the forest to search for the four children of the dragons to take them to the land of salvation, where the final part of the mission to obtain the Cup of Victory awaits.
Wahaj walked searching for the black bloodstains until he found them, but there was a long distance and time between each trace. However, he never gave up and kept in mind that he must win this mission to prove to his father that his lineage deserves to win and to make his father forgive him for his heinous act. Time passed as he searched for the black bloodstains that led to Sani's prison, but he began to hear scary voices, a voice of a person screaming and saying, "Save me!" A voice filled with crying and sadness that made the heart cry. Wahaj was frightened by the voice and said to himself that this must be Sani's voice who is being tortured severely, as his voice and screaming make him imagine all kinds of scary torture. Wahaj began to follow the bloodstains while hearing the voice, hoping that he would reach Sani and save him from his misery.
He began to follow the trail of bloodstains, with the sound of cries leading him in the hopes of finding the source. Wajih approached the sound and looked for a prison cell, but he couldn't find one. He needed to find a clue that would lead him to the prison where Sanie was being held. Finally, he found a clue in the form of a black mark on the wall that pointed to a spot on the wall where he needed to find a door to enter and save Sanie. He searched every corner of the wall, hoping to find a magical or hidden door, but he couldn't find anything.
Sanie's cries of pain became louder, causing Wajih's heart to beat faster as he frantically searched for a way to enter the prison cell. He began to lose hope, as he couldn't find any evidence of a door in the wall. He leaned his back against the wall and his hand on it, feeling defeated. Suddenly, a door appeared in the wall, and he found himself inside a large room. Inside the room, he saw Sanie's ghost and a terrifying executioner holding a whip that he used to lash Sanie with. Every time the whip hit Sanie, he screamed in agony.
Wahaj was frightened by the sight, but he knew that he needed to save Sanie from this torture and bring him back to the land of Shemshoun. He wondered how he would succeed in this mission, how he would free Sanie from the cage, and how he would defeat the executioner.
Sani saw Wahaj and started screaming, "Save me from here, please! Get me out of this torture!" Wahaj told him not to be afraid and that he would do everything he could to save him from there. But he asked, "Does the executioner see me or not?" Sani replied, "No one can see you in the land of ghosts except me. I am the one who can see you here." Wahaj said, "Okay, I'll open the prison door for you. I'll go in and free your hands from the chains. When I do this, you need to quickly leave the prison with me so we can close the door on the executioner." Sani agreed and said, "Hurry, Wahaj! Please save me from this torture!" Wahaj quickly went to the prison door, opened it, and entered. He began to release Sani's hands from the chains, and the executioner was surprised to see Sani's hands suddenly free. Sani quickly hit the executioner hard on the head, making him feel dizzy for a moment. Then Wahaj and Sani quickly left the prison and closed the door behind them.
They began to run quickly out of Al-Qasrun prison, and here Sani and Wahaj stopped. Wahaj asked him, "I want you to take me to the Land of Shamsheen to search for the White Palm hanging in the Zizafoun tree." Sani said to him, "Don't worry, I know the way very well to the Land of Shamsheen, and you saved me from Al-Qaysarun prison after five centuries of suffering in this prison. Your reward is that I take you to the Land of Shamsheen. Just follow me until we get there."
And indeed, Wahaj followed Sani until they reached the Land of Shamsheen, where Sani said to him, "My mission ends here, I cannot go further than this, it is not allowed for me. You are now in the Land of Shamsheen, search for the Zizafoun tree and you will find the White Palm hanging from it. Take it and return to the Land of Red Ghosts."
Sani left Wahaj alone in the land of Shamshoon in search of the Zizafun tree. Wahaj entered the land of Shamshoon, which was full of trees and flowers, but the strange thing was that the color of these flowers changed every minute, and even the trees changed the color of their leaves every minute. How would he recognize the Zizafun tree among all these trees? It must be unique among the other trees to be worth searching for. He began searching everywhere and examining every tree, but he found that all the trees so far changed the color of their leaves every minute, and he couldn't find anything different in another tree. He became tired of searching among all these trees for the Zizafun tree, and he didn't know what it looked like, but he remembered when his mother used to tell him stories, there was a story about a man who had a tree called the Zizafun, and he built a house next to this tall tree.
He remembered the specifications of the Zizafun tree when his mother described it to him, where it had a woody stem with a smooth bark and many branches, and it was about 30 meters high, with heart-shaped leaves and clusters of pale yellow flowers. He couldn't remember more than that about the Zizafun tree, but he considered it a sign to search for the specifications his mother mentioned in the stories.
Indeed, he began wandering around again searching for a tree that was about thirty meters tall, and he found a tree of this size and height. He also found the difference in this tree that it did not change its color like the other trees, and its leaves were heart-shaped and its clusters were pale yellow just as his mother described it to him. Here, he was sure that this was the Zizafun tree, and he had to find the white palm hanging on it, but the height of the tree was high, so he had to climb it to reach the hanging palm.
Wahaj climbed up the tree and whenever he reached a branch, he sat on it to rest for a while before continuing climbing up the tree until he reached a branch on which the white palm was hanging. He took it and started descending to the ground.
Wahaj descended with the white palm, and here the signs began to appear to him to exit the land of Shamsheen. He followed these signs until he reached the land of the Red Ghosts again. Now, he had to search for the gateway of the satellites to put the white palm in it and then go to the final part of the mission.
After Wahaj arrived at the land of the Red Ghosts, the gateway of the satellites appeared before him. Its light was so bright that one could almost lose their sight. He approached the gateway, which had a place for the palm, and put it in. Here, he found himself in the land of salvation and in front of Khalid. It was the final stage, and Wahaj and Khalid were in the same place. Each of them had to open the book again to learn the remaining instructions of the first law to finish it.
"At this point, the grandfather stopped telling the rest of the story, saying to Ali, 'We are now about to finish telling the first law, my son. It's the moment of the end, my boy, and then it will be your turn to start your journey with the last law.
' Ali said, 'Alright, grandpa, but please continue telling the story. I am eager to know the rest of it. What happened when Khalid and Hajj faced each other, and what is the last part of the final mission, and who won it? Please, grandpa, continue.'
The grandfather said, 'Alright, my grandson, be patient and take a break. We have an hour left, and I will finish telling you the rest of the story. Just relax for a while, so you can comprehend the last part of the final mission in the first law. I'll leave you for fifteen minutes to rest and have a drink. Then, I'll come back to finish telling you the rest of the story.' The grandfather, Salmani, left Ali to rest for a while and ordered the servant to bring him something to drink. He then went to his large library in the palace, where there were hundreds of valuable and diverse books. He went to the room that contained the other laws to hand them to Ali to read them himself after finishing the first law, which is the beginning of the curse that befell the descendants of Khalid. This book would later help Ali to know how his other ancestors overcame their tasks, who among them won and succeeded, and who among them lost."
In Jana's house:
Jana sat with her cousin Samira, and Jana still looked sad about what had happened to her, and how Ali had betrayed her and divorced her without reason. Samira asked her, "What do you plan to do with your life, Jana, after your divorce from Ali and his disappearance, and we don't know how to reach him?" Jana replied, "I don't know yet, Samira. My mind is very scattered, and I'm still in shock and haven't absorbed what's happening around me." They both fell silent for a moment, and as they were quiet, Jana's phone rang with a message. She received a message from an unknown number saying, "It's time to come back. Get ready." Jana was a little confused, and her confusion showed. Samira asked her, "Is everything okay? Did I send you a message?" Jana replied, "No, it wasn't you. It was a message from the telecommunications company reminding me of the bill payment due date. I have decided, Samira, to travel away from here. I want to rest a little from this psychological pressure." Jana added, "Yes, I can travel for a few days to any coastal city to relax and regain my energy."
Ali and grandpa:
The grandfather returned to the room with the book and Ali was sitting on his chair. Ali asked, "What is this book, grandfather?" The grandfather replied, "This is a book containing the remaining tasks of your other ancestors. I will give it to you to look at before starting your task, but after I finish telling you the rest of the story of the first law."
Ali asked, "Is this the same book that I will have with me during the mission?" The grandfather replied, "No, my son, this is not the one. You will receive the last law book when the time comes for you to start your tasks from a specific location that you will know later."
"Okay, grandfather," Ali said. "Now, please continue the rest of the story. I am all ears." The grandfather began to tell the rest of the story.
Wahaj and Khalid met each other in the Land of Salvation, each holding his own book. It was time to open the book to know how the final task would be, as they were in the last stage of it. Khalid and Wahaj opened the book and each started to read the task.
"O chosen ones, you are now in the land of salvation, where it will be determined who will be the victor and who will deserve the cup of triumph and be named the great one of their people for the next hundred years. Now, the task will be as follows: a gateway to the land of saws will appear to you. You will go there, and this land is like sharp saws that can cut and injure severely. So be careful while you are there. The mission is to overcome the terrain of this land and fight anyone who confronts you. The duration of the task is two hours from the start time, and entering the land of saws. The mission is a race between the two of you to reach the Cup of Triumph, which is on a high flagpole in the land of saws. Whoever can reach there and return with the Cup of Triumph to the land of victory will be the winner, and their prize will be significant. Now it's time to start. Go to the right, and then the gateway to the land of saws will appear. Enter it, and from there, the countdown will begin."
The race began between Khalid and Wahaj. They both headed towards the right and then to the gate of the saw land. The gate opened and they both entered, where the countdown for the mission began. The land was like saws, and every time they tried to walk there, they found a saw coming out of the ground. If they didn't take caution, they would get hurt, and one of the saws could cut off one of their feet. Walking in this land was very difficult, and the time allotted for the mission was only two hours. Even to reach the pole with the victory cup, their blood might be shed. Wahaj was very slow, as he was a little heavy and the land did not help to walk fast. Khalid was a bit faster, as he was wearing sturdy shoes made of a tough material that his people used to wear when they went hunting in the mountains and rocky places for some predators. His shoes were in his favor, but Wahaj was wearing leather shoes, which exposed him to getting cut by one of the saws that suddenly appeared from the ground.
Khalid had advanced a quarter of the distance so far, and Wahaj was behind him by a distance. An hour had passed, and they had only reached half the distance, but Khalid was far ahead of
Wahaj. There was only one hour left for them to reach the cup and return to the land of salvation before time ran out. Khalid began to walk faster, paying attention to the saws that came out of the ground. He almost reached the pole, but he heard Wahaj screaming. It seemed that he had been injured by one of the saws. Khalid's heart almost sank, but he remembered what Wahaj had done with Nalan, and that he had managed to plot to kill Nalan. Khalid advanced more and more towards the pole until he was able to overcome all the saws and reach the pole. Wahaj did not advance much after the scream, as every step he took, he got injured in his feet, and his shoe was about to tear apart from these saws.
Khalid arrived at the flagpole, but the victory cup was hanging on it. He had to climb the flagpole to get the cup of victory. He looked around for something he could use to climb the flagpole until he found a rope next to it. He tied it around his waist and around the flagpole, and began to climb the flagpole like climbing a palm tree. There wasn't much time left, so he had to hurry. He was racing against time until he reached the cup of victory, held it in his hand, and started to descend the flagpole. Once he reached the ground, he had to cross this land again to get out of it. He had a third of an hour left to hurry and get out of this land and return to the land of salvation.
Khalid couldn't believe that he had reached the cup of victory, and on his way back, he saw Wahaj crying in pain and asking him not to leave him. Khalid was confused about whether to approach him and take him with him or what to do. Khalid approached him a little, and when Wahaj saw the cup of victory in Khalid's hand, he tried to steal it from him. When Khalid approached him to help him, Wahaj tried to fight him to take the cup from him. That's when Khalid was shocked by his treachery for the second time, as he hadn't learned from what he did to Nalan. He wanted to appear as a despicable person who doesn't deserve help. Khalid pushed him away forcefully until Wahaj fell to the ground and was injured again in his hand and back from the severity of his fall.
Khalid quickly ran towards the gate to get out of the land of saws. He entered the gate before time ran out and was able to achieve victory, enter the gate, and return to the land of salvation. Wahaj was still bleeding in the land of saws and had lost the mission.
When Khalid returned to the land of salvation with the victory cup, he encountered the guardian of the book who greeted him, saying, "Welcome to the victorious chosen one, Khalid. Your people are great. You have now won the first law, and after that, the laws will be known as the laws of Washindi. You are the owner of the first law and the first victor, and every hundred years, one from your lineage will be chosen until the year eight hundred.
Then, the curse on your lineage will end, and there will be no more laws or tasks. If the last generation of your lineage wins the final law, the curse on them will be lifted, and your entire
lineage will be free after that time."
The guardian of the book took Khalid and the victory cup back to the battlefield where Tiam, Nalan, and the hired killer were waiting. Everyone was now at the battlefield, and the wounded still suffered in the land of saws. Tiam asked about the result, and the guardian of the book replied, "As you can see, Tiam, Khalid has won the first law and has received the victory cup, but your son, Wahaj, has lost and is still suffering in the land of saws due to his bad actions. Don't worry, Tiam, Hage will return to you, but not until a day from now. He must receive punishment for his treachery and loss."
Now a decision must be made between Khaled and Nalan. You, Nalan, must choose your life, as you are Khaled's brother and his twin, and Tiam abducted you from your parents as revenge for what your grandfather did and for killing Tiyam's daughter. Tiyam wanted to kill you but he didn't, and made you and your brother taste each other's blood in a fight to the death. Tiam shouted and said, "No, Nalan! Maybe at first, that was my intention, but when I took you, I couldn't harm you, and I asked before to end this curse after I loved you and made you my son, but this curse and the laws were imposed by a king of the jinn when I asked him, but he couldn't end it until it was fully carried out for eight hundred years, and the curse was written on Khaled's descendants, not on you, my son. I loved you and my children, and maybe I gave you more love and care than my son who is from my own flesh. If you ever feel that I have treated you differently from any of my children, tell me."
Nalan was crying, not believing what was happening around him, and that his entire life had changed in a moment, where his family were not his original family and Khaled, whom he considered his enemy, was his true brother and twin.
Nalan said, "I have never felt for a single day that you or my mother Hatun are not my real family. You have given me a lot of love and care and taught me a lot. I cannot imagine for a moment that you are my enemies. Maybe what you did was in a moment of anger and sadness over your daughter. I forgive you for everything, because I have seen nothing but goodness from you."
The bookkeeper said, "But Nalan, you must choose now to return with Khaled to your original family, or stay in Washendi, but you must have a connection to be able to stay here."
Tiam asked the bookkeeper, "What do you mean by that, bookkeeper? Why are you putting a condition for Nalan to stay with me if he chooses to stay here?"
The bookkeeper replied, "Because this city you built, Tiam, is for you and for all those who are your descendants, and only those who are your descendants or have a kinship relationship between you and them will stay in it."
But Nalan and even Khaled are the sons of Qasim, my brother's son, so we have a family relationship between us.
The guard told Tiam, "Nalan and his brother cannot stay in Washandi unless they are related by blood. If Nalan wants to stay, he must marry your daughter, Yasmina, to create a family tie. This is the only condition for him to stay with you. Don't forget that Wahaj will return in a day, and you must control and tame him since he has a different temperament than Nalan."
Khaled was in shock when he heard the condition from the guard. He had feelings for Yasmina, and Nalan couldn't believe what the guard was saying. How could he marry Yasmina, his own sister? It was impossible and he found it difficult to accept.
The guard then told Nalan, "You have to choose now, either stay or return with your real brother to your real family. You don't have much time to decide."
Tiam's wife, told the guard that she didn't mind if Nalan married Yasmina if he chose to stay. She explained that Nalan and Hatun weren't breastfed by the same woman, so they weren't siblings by breastfeeding. Nalan could marry Yasmina, but they needed to discuss it with Hatun too. In the end, both Yasmina and Hatun needed to agree.
In a moment, the guard brought Hatun and Yasmina and explained the situation to them. Yasmina couldn't believe what she heard. She loved Khaled and wished he would be the one to marry her. Nalan was just her brother, and she couldn't imagine him becoming her husband. However, she didn't want Nalan to leave Washandi, which was close to her heart. His presence in her life meant a lot to her, so the choice was difficult.
Yasmina said, "I don't want Nalan to leave us. I can't imagine Washandi without him. I don't mind becoming his wife and creating a family tie between us."
Now it was time for Nalan to choose whether to stay in Washandi or return with Khaled. But both Khaled and Yasmina looked sad and shocked at the choice.
Nalan had to make a decision with his mind, not his heart. Nalan was a prominent figure in Washendi and didn't know any other city besides it. He couldn't imagine his life outside of this world and didn't know whether there were others outside of Washendi who were as advanced as they were, or still lagging behind. If he left, he didn't know whether his real parents would be happy to see him or not. However, he would remain an important figure, and he would be great to his people after his victory in the first law.
Everyone was silent, and it was time for Nalan to announce his decision in front of everyone. Nalan said that he preferred to stay in Washendi. This was his city, and he couldn't live outside of it. He apologized to Khaled and said that if he was allowed, he would visit them from time to time and see his real parents. But he couldn't give up his life here. He announced in front of everyone that he accepted the marriage proposal from Yasmina and that he was now the son-in-law of the king of Washindi.
Khaled and Yasmina shed tears, but this was life. We must choose what we see as appropriate for us, even if it means sacrificing our emotions. Emotions are useless if they overcome the mind and can often be the cause of our destruction. Nalan chose with his mind, not his heart.
The first law of Washindi ended. Khaled returned to his tribe, leaving Nalan behind after choosing to marry Yasmina in order to stay in Washendi.
The grandfather said to Ali, "Now that you know the story of the curse of Bani Khalid, it's up to you to end this curse, my son. If you can overcome the obstacles and bring back the Cup of Victory as your grandfather Khalid did."
Ali asked, "Who are the chosen grandchildren of Washandi? Are they from the Wahaj or Yasmina and Nalan lineages?"
"The seventh grandfather was chosen from the Wahaj lineage, but according to the latest law, the chosen one will be from the Yasmina and Nalan lineage," the grandfather replied. "Take this book and read the remaining laws. You have until the end of the day to read as much as you can. At twelve midnight, I will be here to guide you on the path to start your mission to the last law."
Ali took the book from his grandfather and went to his room to read the remaining laws and tasks until it was midnight. He then went to the room to meet his grandfather, who said to him, "Are you ready, Ali, to enter Washandi? Remember, my son, that this curse must end with you, and you must bring back the Cup of Victory."
"Very well, grandfather, I will do my best to end the curse of the laws on Bani Khalid," Ali replied.
The grandfather took Ali to a door that opened in the wall, and they entered a large tunnel. Ali found himself in a strange place outside the palace with his grandfather. The grandfather said to him, "Listen, my son, you are about to receive the book of the last law. A knight on a horse will come to deliver it to you. After that, take the book to the White Hill and open it there. Now it's time for me to go, my son. Take care of yourself and come back victorious."
The grandfather left Ali in that place until he disappeared from view. Then a knight on a horse appeared and approached Ali, giving him the book and saying, "Open the book and head to the White Hill."
After that, the knight disappeared from Ali's sight. Ali turned his face to the White Hill and opened the book. The instructions appeared before him, saying, "Welcome, the last chosen one for the last law. A white gate will appear before you. Enter it, and you will find yourself in Washandi. There, the guards of the city will welcome you, and then follow the instructions."
