Celeste sleeps in the morning after the night Prince Zelian has made it clear that he does not have anything to do with her. Her heart still feels heavy inside her chest. It still refuses to beat, going back to being dead just like it had been a few months ago when a crashing disaster fell on her in the form of her parents' death.
She knows it is late into the morning, because Kia had already come to her chamber twice, once to wake her up and the second one to call her for breakfast. The girl was surprised to see Celeste still on the bed. And Celeste had told her that she was not quite feeling well and that she needed to be alone for some time.
She can not seem to stand seeing the worry inside her handmaid's eyes.
Celeste lifts her hands up and rubs at her eyes, and looks around her chamber with tired eyes. She did not get enough sleep yesterday. So her eyelids feel heavy, and there are purple circles ghosting under her eyes at the lack of sleep.
