"We know who killed your mother Dhampir." Corvinus finalized.
Clancy walked towards his, anger diffused with uncertain confusion "tell me!" He ordered.
Corvinus snickered, turned and walked back along his inmate councils "Not so fast Dhampir, service first." He said.
Clancy couldn't wait, he snapped again darting behind the latter like a beast but Corvinus noticed in a nick of time and held him by the neck without him even moving an inch.
"We are trying to help here Dhampir, we aren't your enemy." Lady Sif cut in and Corvinus released him slightly tossing him back like a doll.
Clancy groaned holding his neck, he could feel his bruise paining but wasn't for long as it healed immediately. He rose back on his feet slightly not having a chance against the councils, they knew who killed his mother and he has been searching years just to find who did it.
He cleared his throat and signed briefly "What did you want?" He finally asked.
Vlad scoffed under Clancy's request "now you're talking!"
"We want you to hunt someone down for us." Lady Sif chipped.
"Someone or something? You can get that someone dead with a snap of your fingers, why me?" Clancy interrogated.
"It's not just someone Dhampir, we indeed have everything under control but this someone is beyond us." Corvinus replied but lady Sif instantly cut in.
"What he meant was, we only wanted you to carry this out for us to avoid governmental interrogations of the public." She said "besides, we don't want this someone dead, we only want it here alive." She added.
"This thing must be really potential to you, what is it?" Clancy crossed his arms.
"I believe everything about it is confidential Dhampir." Vlad answered.
"I've the right to know who or what you're mounting me against." Clancy crossed "bounty hunting doesn't work that way, I need to know."
Lady Sif nodded quietly "truly!" She answered "it is a forbidden specie that got loose, one of its kind. Very deadly and powerful." She explained.
"You're sending me on a suicide mission against something even you all couldn't take down?" Clancy lamented and the councils were quiet "is this thing impervious to something? Anything?" He asked.
"Everything has been tried against it but failed, werebeast bites, silver, sunlight, holy waters and wooden stakes to the heart but she just keeps coming back." Vlad reminiscences.
"She?" Clancy asked curiously "You know something but you're not telling me." He confronted Vlad and the latter chuckled.
"Are you going to help or not?" Lady Sif emphasized her question.
Clancy looked at them, he could sense from them uncertainty. He knew they were hiding something but that doesn't concern him, he only cares about finding who murdered his mother. After that, he's done with his chase.
"Fine!" He responded with a simple nod "can I have a name?" He asked.
In Lady Sif's right opened palm, a picture materialized and she handed it over to Clancy of which he received with less tranquility.
"She's just like you, an end generational specie. An abomination..."
Clancy cut in heartily as he stared at the picture "at least you know what you created." The picture has a face as white as snow with very dark shining hair, normal eyes and an average human facial features. He couldn't obviously spot anything obnoxious about the lady in the picture.
"She's extremely lethal and deadly, powerful enough to wipe an entire town with just her presence." Lady Sif explained "We only want her alive, not dead or we can just close our deal like it never happened." She instructed and Clancy nodded affirmatively.
The councils turned towards their thrones "We will have our finest warriors on your side." They said in unison and from the guardians, four men and a lady walked out all dressed in black outfits like ninjas.
Clancy wasn't amazed, he looked up at the councils as they levitated back to their thrones "I think I'm fine alone." He shouted at them.
"Obviously but believe us when we say you'll need all the help you can get." Corvinus replied.
Clancy groaned under his breath looking down at his colleagues "better make this quick." He ordered.
"I'm Aaron, a worthy warrior for the councils." He tilted his bald head slightly downward. He was obviously a vampire because Clancy could sense it clearly from him, one of the easiest race he could easily distinct from every other species.
"Logan! A worthy member in honour of the councils." He tilted his curly brown hair downward. He was also a vampire and Clancy vouch vouch for that.
"Douglas, in honour to be in service of thr councils." He tilted his Mohawk head downward too, also a vampire.
"Chiang Yen, a worthy servant of the councils at your service." He booked his head, he was quite different from the rest with his long bonded pony tail-like hair. He gave out a stench of contradiction to Clancy that made him realize he was a werewolf from the Chinese dynasty.
"Amelia, honoured to be on this hunt." She addressed, never tilting her head. Clancy wasn't bothered by that but by her mana stench, she's a witch. A beautiful witch to be precise with flashy sack long hair that fell over her shoulder and spine, her cold blooded blue eyes were looking straight into his which made Clancy scoff wickedly.
"This is the team?" He asked the councils "What are we, avengers or the justice league?" He added slightly laughing.
"This isn't a joke Dhampir, get your job done before we think otherwise." Lady Sif answered back coldly.
Clancy nodded narrowly "great, we are the fucking Avengers!" He paused looking around at the team "can I have my weapons back now?" He asked mildly.

Lloyd sat on a one-seater sofa, his legs on a circular table before him as he rests into the sofa sleepily. He stared at the ceiling as a small bulb looked down on him, there were small cracks on the ceiling but not enough to crumble it down.
The sitting room was cold and light, empty to be accurate with just three sets of sofas arranged in an arc shape facing the windows at the entrance of the house. There was no television except a radio placed on a smaller stool beside his chair and on this same stool stood three blood bags. Behind him was a short staircase that led upward into the rooms above, his room and Clancy's private quarter.
Lost in the world of imagination, he opened his eyes after a swift sensation. He felt like something was calling onto him, it wasn't a feeling he hasn't adapted to but a sensation he gets whenever he's in need. He placed his legs on the concrete floor, he told the blood bags and walked towards the back room which only led to a small complex room filled with just a long basin occupied by different kitchen utensils, a gas cooker and unarranged plates. His attention wasn't at the utensils but his left which was a blank concrete wall.
He caressed the wall looking for the right spot then, CRACK! His palm pushed a portion which made the wall segregated like a sliding door revealing a pathway within. The darkness within the room washed out like an erosion but never bothered Lloyd. He walked in and the wall closed.
It was a dark room but after entering, he clicked a random socket on his right wall and the bulbs brightened up. It was an underground basement with a minor ladder that led downward into what seem like a cellar.
Getting down into the cellar, he stopped into a wide room filled with scattered wooden tables with different utilities. Silver bullets, grenades, various types of weapons and swords but what was more dazzling was an arranged settlement behind the stairs. As Lloyd turned to his right, he dropped the blood bags on a random table and walked towards the settlement.
Behind the stairs, at the end of the cellar was a spherical table occupying a tray of sandwich, mud of coffee, a spoon and a fork. Adjacent the table was a wooden bed with white mattress, a lady was lying on it probably asleep with blanket covering her body except her long blonde hair that fell out of the blanket's shade. Beside the bed was a hospital drip stand with blood bags hung from the hooks at the top of the pole then connected by a tube into the lady's veins.
As a doctor, Lloyd knew his daughter wouldn't survive with an ordinary blood extract from the hospital but an unnatural blood could save her. Truly, his daughter died as he explained clearly to Clancy few days ago but the amazing part of it that gave him a light of hope was how she was revived by Clancy's blood. That was the unnaturality that happened to him. So he had been extracting his entire life waste bloods from Clancy, blood clots and other unnecessary blood from him in the name of medical treatment or checks and using it to revive his daughter. She's the only person left for him, except Clancy, Lloyd has no one else. His wife died in a wood accident, at least, he was forced to believe she was killed by a bear but he knew she was killed by some creatures of the night, probably werewolves.
Clancy doesn't know about this because Lloyd never told him, he never even knew Lloyd's daughter lives. Lloyd was planning on telling him but not very soon, perhaps later in the future but not recent. It could bring out something feral in the latter because he has been using Clancy's Dhampir blood in creating another version of vampire in the society unknown to anyone in the world except himself.
The lady shrugged slightly and Lloyd scoffed, he walked towards her and watched as the hung blood pack dropped it last drop. He walked back, took the blood bags he came in with and connected it to the hospital drip stand and finally into the tube that connected into her possible veins.
"You'll be fine Catherine, you'll be fine." He caressed her hair smiling slightly on his lips "All will be over, very soon! Get well soon baby." He finalized and turned to walk out but a soft hand held him by the wrist. He turned back at her but her face was still hidden under the bed sheet.
"Don't leave me dad!" She said.
"I won't and will never!" Lloyd sat on the bed beside her, he placed her palm in between his hands feeding her his warmth slowly as he caressed her softly "never leaving...not this time."
