"We now call each other friends right? Do you believe I would be so insensitive not to have saved my friend's line?" Giavanna snarled.
She removed the cell phone from her ears and stretched it far away before she addressed the lady standing in front of her.
"I am not hungry. You can leave now," Giavanna addressed Stacy. She brought the phone close to her ears once again.
"About the incident last night…" Giavanna started when Tristan didn't utter a word.
"I was a bit out of it yesterday after the many drinks I drank and your brother made it worse…. You were my companion and I shouldn't have abandoned you like that no matter what was the reasons. Accept my apologies, Tristan," Giavanna said soberly.
Giavanna waited for Tristan to say something but there was dead silence at the other end.
"Why don't you make it up to me with a coffee date right now?" Tristan spoke up after he maintained a minute silence.
