At another spot in the same forest, two snakes could be seen in their nest resting.
Guess who they are....
If you guessed that those bastards are the ones that chased Rex through the forest in the first scene then you guessed right.
*Crunch*
The two snakes suddenly turned towards the source of the sound in alarm.
"Hello there." A charming and graceful masculine voice entered their ears. It came from behind.

They turned back and immediately took a defensive stance.
"Hisssss." A whispering sound entered his ears.
Rene was able to understand them because of both his bloodline and affinity to nature.
(Author note: I will be using <> for animals speech)
The main reason that allowed them to recognize him was his aura. Although his face changed and he still inhabitated the same body.
"Oh my, beauties like you guys recognizing me- it is such an honour." He gave a gentleman's bow.
"Unfortunately for you today you are the preys not me"
Both snakes recoiled backward immediately in alarm
"Ah Yes I do, isn't that obvious"
Both snakes looked at each other in alarm because if he understood them it could only two things, first he was so powerful that the barrier of normal animal language no longer bother him or he had affinity to nature and had learned animal language.
Both snakes looked and each other before proceeding to retreat. Although it was save to say he had nature affinity before why didn't he use it to communicate with them but even if he learnt it, it couldn't be this quick.
Even if he wasn't strong, they would rather be alive without a prey, they can always find another one than die hunting one.
From this behavior and thought process it can be seen how cunning and sharp minded snakes could be.
Unfortunately Rene was a very petty person and these snakes almost push Rex to his death before.
He appeared in front of them immediately and grabbed them by their necks.
"Honestly I would have kept both of you because of your cunning you would make good advisors and bootlickers but unfortunately for you I keep grudges" Rene said.
"Well close your eyes and enjoy you massage" Rene continued. He started adding fire mana into their body forcing it to go through their pores slowly cooking them inside out.
The snakes wiggled widely and tried to break free from his iron grip but unfortunately there was no way out.
After struggling futilely for a while they returned to begging.
Rene smiled at their compliment and released them.
"Go and change your ways, this will be the last time I will forgive you" Rene said while looking as noble as possible. He turned back and started to walk away.
Rene didn't even walk ten metres when he snapped his fingers.
The once rejoicing snakes started convulsing violently, their bodies began to rot from the inside.
Rene had added a decay spell into each of the snakes while burning their organs.
Now they were rotting causing them to feel unimaginable pains of their body decaying while they were still alive.
Rene continued on his way not minding their pains. Anyways he never planned to give them a quick and easy death
This death was the best he could think of in the short amount of time he had and trust me they wouldn't be dieing soon.
Rene continued walking until he came across the cave he entered. He began to trace his steps back to were he heard the tiger's roar.
It didn't take long for Rene to find the tiger's den. He started walking into the cave.
Once inside he heard several footsteps.
From the sounds, Rene could feel that these footsteps were coming closer to himself. However, he wasn't anxious.
There was merely a calm smile on his face.
Suddenly, an orange body appeared in front of Rene's eyes. It was the body of a tiger. It was exuding an orange aura, killing intent glinting in its eyes.
Without any warning, it pounced at Rene for encroaching into his territory.
However, just before it could touch Rene, its body stopped. In mid-air, of course.
"What a sad fate you have, buddy. If not for you, I wouldn't have been created, perhaps Rex would have died to those two snakes or even be teleported somewhere else entirely."
Rene calmly spoke to the tiger while looking straight into his eyes.
If an onlooker were to see this scene from a distance. He would see a pur aura shrouding the tiger and keeping it frozen in mid-air.
Rene took a minute to check it status.

At this point, the tiger couldn't even open its mouth, much less growl or attack Rene.
Rene smiled he was quite happy with his attack power given he could easily kill someone of similar rank.
Rene slowly placed his hand over the tiger's head. He seemed to be caressing its head, "What a pity that instead of thanking you, I need to kill you, what you did that day was an insult to me"
Suddenly, the other hand created a wind blade slicing off the neck of the tiger granting it an instant death.
Blood spurted out of him, but none of it touched Rene's clothes as a wind shield protected him from the blood.
"Perhaps the instant death could be my only gift to you."
Rene finished speaking as the tiger's body fell down.
