"Bad habits truly die hard, Dane. Just enough pressure and you'll lose your cool. Working for me is truly convenient since you weren't afraid of falling back, knowing you can… with me around."
Dane took a deep breath and closed his eyes. His neck turned taut as he held his breath longer than he should have. He slowly raised his hands to his shoulder level when he breathed out. Reopening his eyes, he glanced over his shoulder and whispered;
"I cannot disagree more. I guess you do know me more than I know myself." He slowly gazed ahead. "But doesn't that apply to you too?"
Dominic didn't answer, assessing Dane from behind.
"Mr. Zhu, are you aware of the bad habits you picked up not long ago?" Dane's eyes glinted maliciously. "Ever since your relationship with your wife had improved, you weren't as decisive as you were in the past."
"Had anyone told you that if you got your target, don't give them another chance to turn things around?"
