Third person POV
Everyone went into the bus that was heading to the camp area . Xavion sat next to Roxanne she didn't say anything she put on her head phone and turned it on.
Kai ,Nick and Zach on the other hand were in another van. it was a Mercedes Benz Van.
Nick and Kai were on their phone while Zach was solving the Rubik cube puzzle.
"Roxie are you still angry at me " Xavion said but she didn't reply.
"Hey you can't keep ignoring me we're partners "He said.
Roxanne looked at him and removed the headphone.
"Are you saying something"She said.
"Stop it "He said.
"I know it's selfish of me if I tell you not to leave but please don't forget about me "She said.
"I won't i promise"He said and she smiled.
"Let's enjoy this trip shall we "He said.
"Ok "She said.
"So Kai do you really like her"Zach said
"I should be asking you that question "He said looking at him .
"I don't , I don't just think we should hurt her , let's stop this"Zach said referring to Nick.
"So all black should intrude Country K and then break everyone's heart"Nick said.
"How is that even possible"Nick said
"Kai talk to him"Zach said.
"I have nothing to say than for you not to go close to her again"Kai said
"Yet you bully her "Zach said.
"You Know nothing "He Said
"Nothing "Zach said
"I met her first "Kai said
"Go on K do whatever you want date her and maybe then she'll abandon you like your mother did "Nick said.
"What did you just say "Kai said
"Hey dude calm down don't overreact "Zach said
"Han stop the van"He said she the car stopped.
"Nick get out "He said
"Hey Kai we're in the middle of no where"Zach said.
Nick got down from the car and slammed the door and the van moved .
"Hey you can't leave him out there "Zach said
"I think I just did "He said.
"He doesn't have the right to talk about my mom like that"he added.
"Since when do you support her "Zach said.
"I found her "He said.
Nick scrolled through his contacts and looked for his driver's contact.
Roxanne looked out the window and saw Nick standing there .
"Xavion isn't that Nick "She said he looked out the window and saw him.
"It is Nick "Xavion said he stood up to meet the driver.
"Sir please take your seat "The 8 said.
"I would love to but um you need to go back we saw a student outside"He said.
"Are you playing a prank on me "He said
"Why would I , I just want you to know that if anything goes wrong you'll be blamed for it"Xavion said and the driver stopped the bus and turned back . Xavion went back to his seat.
Nick looked at the bus in front of him some one opened the door he was relieved . He went into the bus.

They all sat round the campfire in the evening.
"it looks like we're still in highschool "Roxanne told Xavion
"Yeah I know right "He said looking at the stars.
"You really love looking at the stars don't you "She said.
"Yeah I guess after I came out of prison dad made me stay in my room for a while so at night I'll watch the stars and then I'll talk to my mom"He said smiling.
"You must really miss her"She said.
"I do , I really do miss her but I'll see her soon"He said
"What does he mean by that "Roxanne thought she wanted to speak when Sydney interrupted her
"Does anyone know where Kai is "She said
"Have you checked his tent"Isla said
Sydney stood up and left the campfire.
"The teachers will soon arrive "A boy said and dropped his phone into his pocket.
"You wanna take a walk"Xavion said
"Um... maybe tomorrow I'm really tired now I think I'll go sleep"She said
"Ok then let me walk you to your tent"he Said and he stood up she did the same and they walked to her tent.
"Of you need anything let me know"He said
"My tent is over there okay"He said.
"Thanks"Roxanne said as she smiled and went in.
Sydney walked into Kai's tent he was staring at his phone.
"K"She said
Kai looked at her and dropped his phone and sat upright
"What do you want"He asked
"I'm bored "She said
"So ..."He said
"How is that my business"He said
"Don't raise your voice at me"She said she moved closer to him and wanted to touch him but he smacked her hand away.
"Leave before I do something you'll regret"He said
"K please"She came close but he pushed her .
"I hate you"She said as she picked her phone and left the tent
Kai sat down back on the bed and sighed he picked up his phone again.
Nick POV
I laid on the bed looking at the locket ,it was swinging like a pendulum .
*FLASH BACK*
"Hey Zach "I entered Zach's room he quickly hid something, he looks suspicious.
"What's that"I asked.
"It's nothing"He said.
"Zach you're a very terrible liar "I said moving closer to him I held his hand and he dropped the locket . I picked it up and opened it. I saw a little black girl in the picture with a man and a old woman.
"Does this belong to her "I said .
"Yeah it's hers now give it back"He said
"If K finds out this is with you your dead you know how much he hates her .If you have any feelings for her I hope you let it die"I said walking out.
"Return the locket Nick let me give it to her"Zach said
"I'll give it to K and he'll know what to do with it "I said .

I closed the pendant and dropped the locket in my bag.
*FLASH BACK*
"What are you doing here"I said and stopped playing immediately immediately I saw her .I usually come here for peace and I hated distractions.
"I...."She stuttered. so weak
"I heard noises so I came to check it out"She said boldly this time
"Leave"I told her
"I was going to I didn't plan on staying here with you "She said those words made me angry I held her at the back of neck .
"Hey now you listen to me I'm not Kai nor Zach that you speak to any how"I said
"He...y l...et me go "She said ,She was choking I pushed her to the ground.
"Leave now "I said .She stood up and faced me.
"You'll push everyone in your life away if you keep acting this way"She said and walked out.

What does she know about my life , dummy. Why am I even thinking about her. I messed up my hair trying to clear the images in my head.¹⁶
