A murmur of awe and speculation filled the air as the students contemplated the profound implications of Instructor Park Ji-hye's revelation. The monsters they would face were not stagnant entities but dynamic forces of evolution, ever-changing and adapting to their environment.
"And here comes the most unsettling part," she paused, allowing her words to linger in the air.
"When a monster reaches the pinnacle of its power, it has the potential to challenge and devour the current boss monster, assimilating their strength and taking their place as the new ruler of the dungeon." the instructor continued.
As Instructor continued "This transition in leadership reshapes the very nature of the dungeon itself, altering its levels and creating new challenges for those who dare to venture within."
The students exchanged glances, their minds grappling with the profound implications of this revelation. The dungeons were not static realms but living entities, constantly shifting and evolving as monsters rose to dominance and fell from grace.
"In our pursuit of knowledge and mastery within the dungeons, we must remain vigilant," Instructor Park Ji-hye concluded.
"As we embark on our raiding journeys, we shall not only face formidable creatures but also unlock the mysteries that lie within their domains. Our understanding of dungeons will evolve alongside our experiences, offering us new insights and untold depths of discovery." Her voice tinged with a mixture of caution and excitement concluded.
One of the curious students couldn't contain himself and asks
"Why does this dungeon breakout happen?"
Instructor Park Ji-hye nodded appreciatively at the student's question, acknowledging the intrigue surrounding the origins of dungeons.
"Indeed," she replied, "the phenomenon of dungeon openings and breaks is still shrouded in mystery. We have yet to uncover the exact dimensional origins or the reasons behind their sudden appearances, but we do know that if the dungeon is not raided in a given time, a breakout might happen."
Instructor Park Ji-hye continued, "However, through extensive raiding and careful observation, certain patterns have emerged. It seems that dungeons can manifest in areas with high concentrations of mana, but the triggers and mechanisms behind their formation remain elusive."
Then Instructor concluded herself "There have been speculations," she replied, "ranging from interdimensional rifts to the influence of ancient magic. But at this point, they are merely theories and further research is needed to unravel the true nature of dungeons and their connection to other dimensions."
As the Instructor delved further into the mysteries of dungeons,
"Listen carefully," she said. "Dungeons have a time limit for raiding. If we fail to clear them within that timeframe, the consequences can be dire."
"One theory suggests that dungeons serve as incubators for monster growth," she continued.
"Inside these dungeons, monsters patiently await raiders to enter. They feed on the mana and blood of the humans they hunt, using it to fuel their own power and evolve." she continued picturing horrifies of the dungeon.
"But what happens if a dungeon goes unnoticed or is missed by raiding parties?" One of the trainees asks.
Instructor Park Ji-hye's expression turned grave. "In such cases," she replied, "If a dungeon is not cleared within the allotted time, the monsters within grow restless and seek opportunities for escape. They resort to a state of frenzy known as a dungeon break."
"During this breakout time monsters will resort to feeding on the blood of non-awakened humans, although it is not as nourishing for their growth." Instructor continued.
Instructor Park Ji-hye's words resonated with a sense of responsibility as she concluded her lecture.
"Remember, diligent raiding and timely clearing of dungeons are not only crucial for your own safety but also for preventing potential dungeon breaks and the chaos they may unleash upon the world."
"Instructor Park Ji-Hye, can you tell us more about the different ranks of dungeons and the types of monsters we might encounter?" one of the students asks the question.
Instructor Park Ji-hye smiled and nodded.
"Of course. Let's start with low-level dungeons, typically categorized as F-rank or E-rank. In these dungeons, you may come across relatively weak creatures like slimes or goblins." the instructor replied.
"However, as you progress to higher ranks, such as D-rank or C-rank dungeons, the mana output increases, resulting in more challenging encounters. Wolves might be replaced by elves or other formidable creatures." she continued counting the monster details.
"In your early stages as hunters, it's important to understand the common monsters you may encounter as you progress," Instructor Park Ji-hye continued. The students leaned in, their curiosity piqued.
"In low-level dungeons, such as E-rank or F-rank, you can expect to face creatures like goblins, slimes, and small spiders," she explained.
"These monsters serve as the primary targets for hunting and combat in these dungeons. While their individual strength may vary, they provide valuable opportunities for beginners to hone their skills and gain experience."
"While these creatures may not pose the same level of threat as higher-level monsters, it's important to approach each encounter with caution. Even seemingly weak opponents can prove dangerous if underestimated or encountered in large numbers." as Instructor finally concluded.
As the Instructor continued her lecture, she explained the need for a centralized governing body to oversee the increasing number of dungeons and the rising population of raiders.
"In order to address the challenges posed by guild monopolies and ensure fair opportunities for all hunters, a centralized governing body became necessary," Instructor Park Ji-hye explained.
A student raised their hand, seeking clarification. "Instructor Park Ji-hye, what led to the establishment of the Korean Hunter Association?"
Instructor Park Ji-hye smiled, appreciating the student's question. "The establishment of the Korean Hunter Association, or KHA, was a response to the increasing number of dungeons and the need for regulation and management."
"With the rising population of raiders and the limited availability of suitable dungeons for low-level rankers, it became crucial to establish a dedicated government facility to oversee these matters." that was why the association was formed, Instructor replied.
She continued, "The KHA was tasked with managing the low-level dungeons, specifically those ranging from D-rank to E-rank. By assuming control over these dungeons, the KHA ensures fair distribution and accessibility for all hunters, regardless of their affiliation with guilds."
"In addition to a fair distribution of dungeons, the Korean Hunter Association introduced a profit-sharing system," Instructor Park Ji-hye elaborated.
"Under this system, whenever a monster is slain within the controlled dungeons, the hunter directly responsible for the kill receives most of the portion of the generated profits. It serves as an incentive for hunters to actively engage in dungeon raids and showcases their individual contributions." Instructor Park Ji-hye elaborated.
"In line with the government's vision," Instructor Park Ji-hye continued, "the remaining funds are allocated towards various initiatives. These include improving hunter training programs, developing better equipment, and enhancing overall dungeon management. The aim is to create a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both hunters and society."
"In addition to regulating dungeons, the Korean Hunter Association (KHA) plays a crucial role in training and nurturing potential awakened," Instructor Park Ji-hye explained.
"In order to maintain the training facility and support its activities," Instructor Park Ji-hye continued, "the KHA receives royalties and taxes from the guilds." The student nodded, their curiosity piqued.
Instructor Park Ji-hye continued, "The funds generated through these means are utilized to ensure the seamless operation of the training facility."
We hire experienced instructors who specialize in various disciplines, procure state-of-the-art equipment, and maintain an optimal learning environment.
Our goal is to provide the necessary resources for the education and development of the awakened, enabling them to harness their abilities to the fullest.
"The collaboration between the KHA and guilds creates a symbiotic relationship. The guilds benefit from receiving well-trained awakened who can contribute effectively to their ranks."
"In turn, the guilds' support and contributions to the KHA ensure the sustainability of our training programs and the overall growth of the awakened community." finally instructor concludes her lecture.
Having covered the broader aspects of dungeon exploration and guild dynamics, Instructor Park Ji-hye announced the focus of their upcoming training.
Starting the following day and continuing for the next month, the students would be tasked with studying and familiarizing themselves with the various types of monsters encountered in dungeons.
They would learn how to identify different monster species, understand their behaviors and weaknesses, and acquire skills for efficiently extracting mana stones from smaller monsters.
This practical training would enable the students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the dangers of dungeons and engage with the diverse array of monsters they would encounter.
The hands-on experience gained during this period would serve as a foundation for their future endeavors as raiders and contribute to their overall growth as awakened individuals.
