Several Days had passed.
Rei had been teaching the whole Academy.
"Maintain your mind clear as water. Take a deep breathe." Rei explained out in a training ground, "and then boom."
Boom! Crracck!
A strong thunder stroke the target into millions of pieces. All the students of the same age were in awe, some in jealousy.
"Ha! That's easy. Let me do it." One of the student imitated Rei.
Phew!
Not even a thunder was formed, just a small lightning. That student became a laugh stock for the others. "Ah it just.... the... Lightning Art is not my special art... arghhhh"
"Hey! What have I said about it?" Rei scolded, "Don't bully the other! Now dismissed!"
Everyone left the training ground, so was Rei. On her way to her room, he realized something important.
"It's tomorrow." Rei thought by herself. "I have to take a day off."
That night when everyone fall asleep but someone couldn't sleep and prepared to leave the school compound.
A human figure slowly moved in the shadow toward the front gate of the academy.
"Isn't it late for you to wonder around?" Another human figure came out and asked, "Rei?"
"Well, I had some business to take care of." Rei answered with a smile as she knew her plan had been found out, "Mr Merlin"
"Ok," Merlin moved aside and let Rei go, "get back before the school starts. There's no spare teacher because of you."
"Haha ok ok" Rei laughed purely and left.
As soon as Rei left, Merlin took out an hour glass with a label on it.
The label said, "Don't let me know how much the sand left. Dear Merlin"
Rei rushed to the place where a bunch of bandits gathered. Rei made an obvious entrance into the bandits.
"Bring me your leader," Rei said loud and clear as she prepared for the fight.
"Well you look pale," a woman buffed with muffle mocked and laughed, "are you sure you want me?"
For a second, Rei lost in thoughts. She didn't expect a woman to be the leader of this bandits.
"Wait," Rei murmured ,"Are you guys Shadow Legend?"
"No mistakes here," the woman replied in confident, "You come the right place. What? Are you freaking out now and trying to make excuse?"
"You really know how to start a fight. Be patience." Rei sighed and kept talking. "Are you guys planning to take over Academy of Potence?"
"What if we are, huh?" The woman replied in inpatient voice.
"Then you can start the fight." Rei said with the grin from ear to ear.
Rei used a earth element and dipped the woman in the sand. The woman shook the sand over her body and "Shadow Trap!"
Rei couldn't move an inch. She got trapped in the her own shadow but Rei smirked.
"Wow, what a girl." The woman praised Rei, "You have courage to smile in a situation like this. Tell me what's your name, before I end you."
"Thanks for the compliment, I'm Rei. Just Rei." Rei took a deep breathe and continued, " I'm telling my name because you won't be able to spread my name. You sure only concentrate the enemy. Take a look around."
The woman turned her head left and right, checking the surrounding. She was actually in the dark.
"Wow. A mind manipulation." The woman said as she bit her thumb and the bleed come out.
"Oho ho, nice technique to get out of manipulation," Rei spoke in the dark "for a low level manipulation, you might have escaped but this is Ophanim level. You have to try harder. You're lucky because of my rank being Cherubim stage. Otherwise you will go insane just in a second."
"Wait, wait. You said your name is Rei, right?" the woman speedily asked.
"Why's that?" Rei asked confusingly.
"Forgive me. Sir Reaper. If I say the name Reaper, do you recall anything?" the woman answered.
"Release!"
As soon as she released that woman, that woman fall onto the ground.
"Give her something sweet before she lost her consciousness" Rei commanded the other followers, and sat on a tree trunk, waiting for the woman to regain her calm.
"Bwa hak hak" the woman vomited out black gas.
"Now tell me everything you know about the Reaper." Rei asked in a stern voice.
"I'm Ateta, the Shadow Legend's second in command. There never is the first command as a human but this heritage stone that was handed down by the Shadow Legend's former second commander" Ateta continued after taking a breathe.
"The letter on the stone said to be written by the very first "Second in command of Shady Legend"." Ateta said.
"What did the letter say?"Rei asked impatiently.

"So the event has changed because of some factors. Maybe because of me making Skarr to leave before the Dark Event of Academy. Wait!" Rei stood up in shock, " This means I haven't save Mr Merlin."
Rei immediately rushed back to Academy but she had a feeling that she's late.
Dark Event of Academy in the last timeline of Rei was not like this.
The bandits named "Shadow Legends" lead by Skarr tried to take over Academy in the name of Merlin expelled him from being a teacher with the reason for being harsh and cruel to students.
However, Skarr alone was nothing for a supreme mage of the Academy, Merlin. Skarr knew that too.
Skarr prepared an artifact called "Tempest Talisman" made by Hecate, Goddess of Magic.
In Nethoria, Gods reside in the human realm but never interfered in the human issues before Dark Event of Academy. That event is so called Dark Event because the Gods began to make mischievous moves. From then on, the Gods started interacting with humans directly.
The first one to be killed by the action of the Gods was Merlin.
Skarr used the artifact as an modifier for his lightning elemental spell. Even Merlin, a supreme mage, Cherubim Devine Rank couldn't stand a chance at the God's artifact.
Rei couldn't even find a piece of Merlin. That's how terrible Merlin's death was.
Rei didn't want Merlin to be in the same condition again. She left the Shadow Legends and rushed to Academy.
Rei felt very disappointed because she couldn't use her Spatial Teleportation as she went back to time before he achieved the blessing of a Mysterious god.
She reached Academy just minutes before the school starts.
Everyone was trying to run out off the school yard but a shield covered the whole place making no one could get out.
" This!...." Rei touched the shield, and said, "This isn't Skarr's"
Rei checked the sun. The sun was already shining bright. So she couldn't use the shadow art to pass through the shield.
Rei decided to use Spirit art: Soul Phase . Just before she used it, a red hair girl, dark gown appeared beside her holding an umbrella.
"If I were you, I wouldn't do it." A girl softly smiled and said, "Do we have met before?"
