"Can you feel it Rei?" Celeste seem to be shaken by anger.
"Yea, a dreadful feeling. I can sense death too." As Rei said it, Celeste stared at her like she said something wrong.
"What? I ah... I mean other death..." Rei tried to recorrect her mistake, "But who is he?"
"There's only one death and that is... Me!" Celeste angrily shouted.
"Well, well" Reus' voice came out from behind. "Look who's here. Final ingredient of the main offering."
Reus checked Rei, and seem to remember something.
"You even bring another side dish, too. How convenient?" Reus took his scythe out.
Rei immediately notice that that scythe was Thanatos'.
Reus jumped in with his scythe, preparing to cut Rei's throat.
Chwing!
"I don't know what you're up to Reus. As you said, the final ingredient is here. Don't let it go wither." Celeste stopped Reus' slash with her tessen.
Then they clashed hard.
Rei could go help Celeste but it would just be a disturbance for Celeste with her status right now.
She sat where she was and began to upgrade her elemental rank, from Cherubim to Seraphim.
Cherubim is a rank that is almost the highest rank normal elemental mage could wish for. Seraphim is a god-like rank. It got two stages, Seraphim and Seraphim divine. Celeste should be in Seraphim rank.
It almost impossible for a normal elemental mage to climb from Cherubim to Seraphim. Being a Seraphim ranker, it literally mean becoming a demi-god.
It usually takes from half a year to more than two years.
Rei set her up into meditation position.
Right at that moment, a red portal appear.
" Just as I thought," Sun came out of the portal. "She never gave any explanation for the order. Or maybe she thought I would already know ."
"She never fails to amaze me in every life even though I already know what would happen."
"Where are we?.... Rei!" Ateta and other Shadow Legends ran towards Rei, "Hey monkey! What did you do to Master Rei?"
"Hey don't accuse me like that. I'm her disciple. She just upgrading her rank." Sun replied.
"It would take more than half a year. Why is she doing it right here?" Ateta asked in confusion.
"Not for my master. She's fucking awesome, you know. Just wait. She will woke.."
Sun couldn't even finished his sentence, bright aura came out of Re's body and Rei's become to float.
Then the aura spread through the void.
Rei stood up and said, "Sun what's your rank right now?"
"Hey, Master. You had woke up for like weeks. I just woke up and you already sent these guys. Where's the time for me to get rank up? huh? " Sun moaned. "It's still Cherubim."
"Then now rank up here, Ateta." Rei turned to Ateta and others, " You guys follow me, we might have to fight with undead if this is who I thought he is."
Reus and Celeste were in a serious fight. And then a faint aura hit them. Reus knew it was from Rei but Celeste didn't.
"You, Celeste, shouldn't even be here if it was for him." Reus said, "You are nothing but just a mere replacement."
"Replacement of what?" Celeste replied, "Whatever it is I don't care. I'm Celeste, Lady Death. Now die! Death Command: Curse Dimension"
Death Command is the only kind of art that is not an art. Because in Nethoria, Art is a form of skill to use element. Death Command is art but didn't have its own element to use.
Other art similar to Death Command is Life Sketch. Life Sketch is the only art that doesn't have an art. Life Sketch element exists in everything but not in death or corpses.
Death Command Art only takes Life Sketch from everything it touches. It is also rare as Death can only use it. These two arts are unique and exist in perfect harmony.
Celeste formed a sphere of Death Command Art around her and Reus was in it too. For normal occasion, Reus would have die.
But surprisingly Reus didn't die. His whole body got ripped here and there. His bones were revealed on some place but he was moving normally like nothing happened.
"You should see your expression. Hahaha" Reus laughed out loud.
"But... But... you touched the Death Command, you have to die. On... only God and Goddess can't get affected. Then you..." Celeste stuttered.
Chwing!
Rei slashed at Reus but he encountered it.
"Well, can't wait to kill you too. Sumire! " Reus said.
Rei was surprised that she was called as Sumire but she didn't know that name.
"Oh you got companies too. So do I! Spirit Art: Necromancer! " As Reus shouted out his spell, the ground became to crack, lots of undead came out from the ground.
A battle between Shadow legends and undead were fierce. So was Rei, Celeste and Reus.
"Who the fuck are you not to die in Death Command?" Celeste kept shouting as she fought.
"Who the fuck is Sumire?!" Rei also did the same.
But they were being outfight by Reus. Rei knew it but she kept fighting along side with Celeste.
"Two fools. You were far weak from when I remembered." Reus mocked them.
Then Rei realized that not only she and Sun were the 2nd livers, but also was Reus.
But she was wrong. Reus had only lived once and he already fought with Rei or mistaken with someone called "Sumire".
The whole place was filled with blood, even though no one really died. Because Nullity is a place where time didn't work.
Because of that, the Shadow Legends and undead were fighting over and over again. Even one was dead, he just reappeared from somewhere near there and continued fighting.
That meant both the Shadow Legends and undead were both unkillable, that made the Shadow Legends undead.
So they were fighting themselves. The longer they fight, their life force got drained and began to look like undead.
That's how time in Nullity work.
The longer the battle was, the more life force were sent to Reus and the more powerful Reus began.
"I'm not a god, or even death and still you guys can't win me. Haha. How pathetic." Reus said.
Both Rei and Celeste were getting exhausted.
"So weak! So fucking weak! " Reus continued mocking them, "What did you do to kill my Master? This rank won't even be able to touch my Master's shadow."
Bam!
Jingu Bang fall from above in enormous size over Reus, making him to bury in the ground.
"You are late. Monkey." Rei sighed and said exhaustedly.
"Master, I'm 1 year older than you right now. Tsk." Sun replied.
Sun seemed to change a bit in his appearance. He got a head ring and his staff Jingu Bang looked like it's fully awaken.
"Finish this one. We're tired. Let us rest for a bit." Rei said and sat down at the spot. She even pull Celeste to sat down too.
"Ay Ay Leave this to me." Sun cracked his neck side to side, dragged his Jingu Bang to normal size and walked toward Reus, who's ready for the fight.
