"Seriously, you could have told her we are not a couple," Mia giggled. She felt lighter, and having Declan beside her on a walk was awesome. She felt free for the first time in a while. The honking of cars surrounding them sounded like music to her ears. She wasn't doing much, but it was fun for her.
"She saw a good thing. Who am I to correct such?" he replied with a smile. She looked lovely even though her cheeks were red, but she was smiling. She tried hiding it, but he saw the blush on her cheeks. He loved it when she smiled. He had no plans of coming out tonight. He had planned on studying more about Liam; there was something strange about his statement in the cafeteria. He couldn't pinpoint exactly what, but he was going to find out.
