Declan smirked and started walking toward the table he had reserved for them. He pulled out the chair for Mia, and she smiled at him. "Thank you."
He took his seat opposite her. The waiter came immediately to take their orders, and Mia ordered the same thing as Declan.
"So, how does my new friend feel?" Declan asked, tilting his head to the side.
Mia's smile widened. "Do you always sweet-talk all your friends, or is this reserved for me alone?"
Just then, the waiter brought their order. Declan waited for the waiter to leave before speaking. "I don't really have female friends. You're the first."
She raised her brow in astonishment. "I guess I am honored to hold such a special position. How come you don't have a female friend? Are you gay?"
Declan opened his mouth wide before forming a smirk. "I am very straight."
