Mia bit her lips; preventing herself from shouting at the M. D. When she needed a full-time contract, why hadn't she given it to her? Why was she trying to push her to stay now? She wasn't saying anything about her past anymore, it just seem like she doesn't care anymore.
"Mia will like to cancel her contract; she can't continue to work in an agency she has not trust in. She doesn't trust you guys."
The M.D. looked like her child was just snatched from her, "I understand you. I can't say I have been fair with the way I have treated you since she started working in this agency, but I am apologizing now. I am sorry. I hope we won't see each other tomorrow and ignore each other." She concluded with a handshake with Mia. She wasn't willing to shake her, but with a nod from Alexis she shook the older woman and they left her office.
