Louis woke up feeling her head laid on something that wasn't the bed, she fluttered her eyes to discover her head was on Moses' arm.
"You were feeling uncomfortable last night so I thought it was okay if you laid on my arm instead," he spoke innocently Louis didn't know how she was going to react, why was he been so sweet and not the dangerous devil?
Louis gently stood up as she sat on the bed turning to Moses to speak but then she was interrupted by the knock on the door and then it was opened without a reply.
"Moses," Hailey called entering the room worriedly.
"Nanny Hailey," he spoke softly.
"Moses, have you checked your phone? Have you seen what's on the news?"
"What are you talking about?" He questioned ignorantly and then Hailey handed him her phone as he read what was written in the headlines news, his face slowly turned cold and dark.
With a dangerous expression on his face, he was silent as though he was ready to kill prey and then he stood up from the bed without a warning.
Leaving Louis confused and curious.
"What happening?" Louis asked Hailey but just like Moses, she didn't speak a word as she went out of the room in a hurry.
Louis was about to follow placing a foot on the floor but then she retracted with the pain she whimpered feeling her foot get burnt, trying once again it was the same hurt as before.
Placing her feet on the bed, she hugged it in tears she called Moses' name, she was sure that he was the one that caused her the pain, a moment ago he was behaving sweetly but after seeing what Hailey had shown him, he couldn't just let her live peacefully, going back to his old ways, he was just so bent on hurting her, she wondered what he had seen.
Strongly curious about what was going on, she knew she couldn't sit in the room and wait for Moses to come out so she placed one of her feet on the ground and then she cried in pain, it hurt so much it felt as though she had placed her feet on hot coal, the cry only got louder when she placed her other foot on the ground and then she struggled to pull the stand of the water drip, it was unbearable she wanted to stop though she wanted to go and check so she continued with hesitance and pain.
The television of the living room was on the headlines as Kelvin sat comfortably with his legs crossed, knowing his brother was coming to deal with him, knowing there was nothing to be concerned about, waiting for moments he finally heard the dreading feet that ran toward him and then he was raised from the chair with a pounce brutally hit on his face as he fell to the ground.
"Moses," Hailey tried to approach him but his anger was fuming he raised his hand to stop her and then she stopped.
Moses walked toward Kelvin raising him from the ground as Kelvin was revealed with a bleeding nose though Moses had no concern for his pain.
He raised his hand to punch but Kelvin held his knuckle with a clenched jaw, his expression became cold, and the cloud in the sky turned dark supporting his deadly mood.
"Not this time," he said coldly and then replied with a punch on Moses as he was brutally hit on the back landing on the wall. Moses groaned in pain and then he opened his eyes, they turned lethal as his grey eyes turned red.
Kelvin was ready to walk toward Moses he began to incite Moses' mind with unwanted thoughts.
"What happened? You're furious? You've finally found your opposition, you have been able to see who can target your reputation in front of these people. Don't you remember? After getting her to the house with all means and now, you've gotten her, don't you remember? Her touch, her ki-" he couldn't complete his words as Moses was able to recover from his allusions and then he reached Kelvin strangling him on the neck, raising him from the ground Kelvin struggled to be free though Moses wasn't letting go and when Moses was ready to hit Kelvin, he dropped him feeling his body got burnt and then his body was evoked, Moses felt his body was full of heat and then he began to burn like fire with flames showing, Kelvin stood up from the ground also prepared for Moses, his eyes turned white like a flashing light and then his body sparked like electricity and then he ran toward Moses, also Moses ran toward him.
Representing a dangerous battle, Moses looked like he was a monster and Kelvin looked like he was a demon.
The cloud darkened as the mansion shook as the two took preparation to attack each other, they ran toward each other about to give a hit but then Louis's voice rang.
"What are you doing?" She yelled and then they both stopped turning to see where the voice came from, it was Louis at the top of the stairs, she gave a deep breath trying to stay conscious, her head spinning after receiving so much pain and then she faintly raised her hand to touch her head but then she fell down the stairs losing consciousness.
Just when she was about to fall to the ground, Moses came in placing his hand on her head which was about to hit the edge of the stairs, though the pain of the edge penetrated through him, the fire which was burning in flames subsided.
"Moses, Kelvin," Hailey tried to speak though non of them was willing to hear a word from her.
"Kelvin," she turned to Kelvin whose lightening was reducing turned back to his human form
"Kelvin listen to me," Hailey was about to speak to him holding his arm though he yanked it out of her grip as his eyes were set on Moses, taking steps toward him, Hailey obstructed him as she stood in front of him, he scoffed with a bit of chuckle.
"You should remember, Moses, she's not your slave, what are you going to do now that your company and your reputation are at stake, you would have to pay for your sins. C'mon fight, you coward," Kelvin calmly stated and then he pocketed his hands walking away and then he switched on the television to the headline news.
"Populating in the country, company CEO of the Brunte company has allegedly taken a worker to get her assaulted and forcefully taken from her house, with pictures to prove the case, now the question is who is Moses Brunte? An assaulter or a kidnapper? We'll give you more updates on the headlines news."
