The Emperor passed through the doors setting his feet within the chamber of his wife, he walked past her taking a glance at her face, though his eyes were distant even as they met with hers.
Then he rounded the desk where he stood before Joldur, the giant of a man, tilting his head upwards, to meet his subject's eyes, "Is it the duty of the Ancients to discipline the wives of the emperor?" he asked, his voice was monotonous, lacking all forms of emotion.
Joldur's face knitted into a scowl, for a second before his face returned to calm, he bowed to the emperor and answered, "It is not your eminence, but it is a father's duty to discipline his children," replied the leader of the Umbars.
"And did a father not give his daughter to this emperor, or does a father wish to take back what he has already given to his liege?" asked the Emperor.
Joldur remained quiet for a while, "Of course not your Eminence," he answered.
