Lucian looked away from Alphea, "You already know what it is that I want," he replied, he had made his case already.
"But it also gives you an opportunity," he quickly shifted trying to think quickly on his feet.
"Think about the possibility of them doing something stupid, and you might be able to predict it before it happens,"
"If you can resolve whatever mistakes they make before there are disastrous consequences you can pull one over on them, get them to owe you one, and use it to strengthen your position," he explained, "You did tell me that your position is shaky, this could serve to reinforce it," he added.
Alphea stood up faster than Lucian could follow, and a resounding smack echoed from the top of his head.
"Argh," Lucian groaned rubbing his head where he had been smacked, "What the hell was that for?" he questioned.
