"Your Highness I see a carriage with the imperial crest," the coachman called out as the lake came into sight.
"Approach," Alphea ordered, a few minutes later, Eros stepped out ahead of the princess and offered her his hand as she climbed down the steps.
"What a lovely little spot," Alphea commented as she took in the view of the lake and felt the greeting of a refreshing breeze.
Lucian's coachman got up, he was alone in their camp as usual, every morning when Lucian entered the dungeon Diego would accompany him to the entrance and stay close to the gate until the prince returned, and currently, it had been three days since they returned.
He worried that the prince had died, but if that was the case Diego would have long since returned, as for Diego there wasn't a creature or person in these parts that could possibly be a threat to him.
