Lucian turned away from her questioning gaze and looked over the furniture in Alphea's room, he soon found the comfiest seat, a couch with thick grey cushions and arched armrests, that were designed to absorb the seated into its body.
He ran to the couch and sunk into its snug embrace, the desire to meditate quickly overcame him and took him a conscious effort to resist its allure.
