Following Conor inside the dojo Astrick's face was distorted as an expression of annoyance appeared on it while he thought to himself,
'Little boy?!? This little boy will show you how strong he is...'
While thinking of some useless stuff like that the two were finally facing each other holding their positions, On the left Conor was holding a katana clearly trying to have a similar type of sword as Astrick which focuses on cutting and slashing the enemy with high speed before they can react...
They both leaned forward, but while Astrick had a serious dangerous look on his face, Conor seemed to have no fears of the upcoming fight as his facial expression reflected nothing but his absolute indifference...
Despite his casual stance, Conor wasn't underestimating Astrick at all, after all, no matter how strong this 14-year-old is, it's still a 14-year-old kid, and with how serious Conor is right now, beating Astrick easily shouldn't be much of a problem for him, or so he thought...

With Karl's signal, Conor instantly disappeared from his spot reappearing in front of Astrick to cut through Astrick's neck... Of course, Conor didn't really have any intentions of killing Astrick, as all he wanted was to intimidate him a little and perhaps teach him a little lesson to not overestimate himself...
And seeing Astrick unable to react with his speed Conor's face was painted with an arrogant smile as he thought to himself...
'Heh... I knew it, just like I thought, this idiot Karl was just trying to justify recruiting children... '
As his katana was less than 10cm away from cutting through Astrick's head, the boy in front of him did something he didn't think was humanly possible as he saw Astrick move his back at a very weird angle hardly dodging the head of the katana, while launching a slash of his own...
Conor was amazed by the sudden transition of events, but his experience as a Martial artist allowed him to keep a cool head and quickly retain his composure as he immediately moved his head back avoiding Astrick's Sword Eater By less than an inch...
Astrick didn't want to let this little chance he got for himself slide so he, without wasting a single second, he used his Sword Eater to do a quick side slash aiming towards Conor's neck...

Unlike what Astrick thought Conor would do in this situation... Which should be blocking his hit, Conor decide to dodge it, making Astrick's sword only cut through the thin air, which was a really bad choice as it would create an opening for Astrick to easily have an advantage in this battle...
Astrick didn't think much of it and only assumed that it was a slight mistake, one that would cost Conor a lot...
Slicing down, Astrick's sword was about to cut through Conor's body, but Conor finally made his move as he tried to use his sword to block the upcoming attack...
Seeing through Conor's intention, Astrick could only sneer in his heart as he didn't think Conor can black this attack at all, after all, he put enough force behind it to destroy a full-on concrete wall.
So how can Conor... a normal human block such a strong hit? Even if his amazing techniques made him able to fight on an equal foot with mutated zombies, it still can't help him block such a powerful attack, or so Astrick thought...
Just as the sword was getting into Conor's danger zone, he weirdly moved his body while using the blade of his katana to block the attack and somehow was able to use his positioning in a way that made all the power Astrick put behind the sword scatter around his body and some even to the ground below him as well...
The dojo's floor started breaking as small cracks were appearing on it creating small spider webs of cracks under Conor's feet...
Conor's eyes widened in surprise and fear as he thought to himself after feeling the pain in his now numb hand...
'What the heck is that power?!? Does this kid have the muscles of an elephant or something? How could a human have such power? Even superhumans while using their abilities aren't usually that strong... '
Conor gritted his teeth as he pushed Astrick who had a shocked look on his face back trying to get himself back together...
Astrick also took that chance to regain his composure, he was too surprised that this Conor guy was able to take his swing, even though Astrick held back a little, it was still pretty impressive taking the fact Conor was a normal human...
While they were repositioning themselves they looked at each other with respect, admiration and caution as they realized they both had underestimated each other...
After getting their sh*t together they both launched at each other with much more speed and aggression than the last confrontation...
The sounds of clashing swords echoed in the empty dojo as Astrick and Conor continued to blow their swords against each other with no clear winner.

Even after 10 minutes had passed since the beginning of their fight Astrick and Conor still didn't have any sign of getting closer to the end of this battle.
The fight had so many close calls that even Karl was full of sweat as he couldn't believe what he was witnessing...
He knew that Astrick was strong, but not that strong, and what surprised him even more was that Conor was able to keep up with him as even though Karl had seen him fight before, he had never seen him suffer in any of his battles nor take that long in them, so he didn't have a clear idea about his strength.
But finally, after a brief period, the battle seemed to get closer to its end as the two started making more and more mistakes making the battle even harder and more challenging for each of them.
But for some reason, they both had these malicious smiles on their faces while thinking to themselves the same thought...
'He won't see this next move coming! '
