Elliot practically dragged Alec with him as they went into Elliot's house. The whole car ride Alec was quiet, more quiet than Elliot was used to, usually a snobby comment but nothing. It was like Alec wasn't even there. Elliot was very worried and he tried to talk to Alec but nothing. It was around midnight when they were near the house.
As soon as they arrived, Elliot's mom gave Alec a huge list of orders and rules "…you should also get rid of those gross ass shoes, it's honestly embarrassing. I'm sure my sweet angel Diane has a pair of shoes you can borrow and those clothes; I guess you are around Elliot's size, whatever if it doesn't fit I'll buy some clothes and shoes for you. My family can't be seen with that homeless look you got there, It looks like you haven't showered in, like, years…"
His clothes weren't even that bad, just normal clothes or what Alec sees as normal. He was confused but didn't say anything and just did as he was told.
'She's showing her real colors right away… great like he already doesn't have enough to deal with,' Elliot thought.
Before they get inside the house Elliot's mother forced Alec to remove his shoes while Elliot took his shoes off inside. As soon as Alec came into the house he went into the shower, requested by Elliot's mother while Elliot tried to find clothes that would fit Alec and then he awkwardly put the clothes on the floor near the bathroom.
Alec got done and changed into the clothes left on the floor. He had to ask Elliot for a belt, his clothes were a little loose. He pointed to the belt to ask, but was still refusing to speak. Alec felt weird in a suit, something he isn't used to at all.
Elliot was embarrassed by the fact that Alex was wearing his clothes. Elliot's mother noticed Alex as he came in. "Glad you are dressed in proper clothing. Elliot, show her to the guest room. Also give me some wine while you are at it," Elliot's mom demanded.
"Why do I have to? Can't my sister get you the wine?" Elliot asked.
"Because, I said so and she's busy." His mom replied. Diane grinned mischievously at Elliot. Elliot reluctantly gave her wine before taking Alec to the guest room.
As soon as they got to the room, Alec went up to Elliot and hugged him. Elliot froze in place for a second. He wasn't expecting that at all, but he hugged back. Elliot isn't used to that at all, Alec isn't affectionate or friendly and especially not touchy, so this came to a huge surprise to him.
If they ever hugged if Elliot was thinking to hug him cuz he felt like he would need it, because it helps Elliot and it always ended in Alec pushing away or Alec hitting him and Elliot apologizing but none of that and Alec was the one to hug, it made Elliot really worried.
The only time they ever hugged was when Elliot had thought Alec needed it. It was never Alex who initiated it. Alec always pushed Elliot away, or Alec would hit him. As much as Elliot enjoyed that Alec wanted to hug him, it was very concerning.)
Alec didn't let go right away either, instead he pulled Elliot closer, he opened his mouth just to pause and then, "Please don't leave me..." Alec pleaded quietly.
That made Elliot worry more, "…Alec… My mom wouldn't allow me to sleep here but I can ask her if we could use the queen size air mattress in my bedroom then you could sleep in my bedroom if that's what you're asking," Elliot replied.
Alec didn't respond and just clinged onto Elliot tighter. Alec and Elliot stood there hugging in silence until Elliot noticed a thick strap on Alec's shoulder. "What are you wearing underneath the suit?" Elliot asked worriedly.
It took a moment for Alec to realize what Elliot was asking about. "...binder," Alec replied, almost eerily quiet.
"How long have you had that on?" Elliot asked, visibly worried.
".. 12 hours." Alec replied.
Elliot became even more worried, "You need to take it off now, that's way past 8 hours!" Elliot said panicked. Alec shaked his head. "I'll close the door and leave, please take it off" Elliot asked. Reluctantly, Alec agreed but didn't want Elliot to leave, so Elliot just closed his eyes and turned around.
Alec began to take off his binder when he accidentally hit his wound. "Ow! Fuck!" Alec yelled.
Elliot panicked, turned around without thinking, "I'm so sorry!!" Elliot cried as he closed his eyes quickly. "Are you ok?" Elliot asked worriedly. Alec didn't respond and just quickly got changed. "...What was that?" Elliot asked, a pinch in his brows from worry.
Alec shook his head, "...cut," Alec muttered.
"...I heard that...is that the wound your dad was talking about?" Elliot asked. Alec awkwardly nodded. "Do you need a bandage?" Elliot asked.
Alec shaked his head and pulled Elliot closer. "Let's go ask my mom if you could sleep in my room if you want to, it gotta happen right now, she's not going to stay up for too long. She already asked me for wine, which she takes before she sleeps some days and it's like one am, we need to go now." Elliot explained.
Alec went with Elliot to ask Elliot's mom. "Hey mom, can he sleep on the blow up mattress in my room? I think he would like it better than the guest bedroom," Elliot asked, trying to make it sound like something that his mother would agree to.
"Usually I would say no with no hesitation, you know this Ellie, guests go in the guests room and she's a girl. I'm not allowing a female in my son's bedroom with my son. Though, I was thinking about her dirty fingers on my guest bed, getting food on it, plus I'm sure she would love the air mattress her kind seems to love then. I will only allow her to sleep in your room if you both stay away from each other and keep your door open. Don't even think about doing anything, you'll be in so much trouble if I find out something I don't want to, especially with that. You are a Richardson, we date rich, not that."Elliot's mother sent a tired yet elegant glance towards Alec as she spoke.
"Thank you, mom!" Elliot said a little too excitedly.
Diane went up to Alec, "Hello, sweetheart. My name is Diane, the hot sibling. What's your name hycutie?" Diane asked, curious of the person Elliot brought home.
Alec didn't respond, just got more uncomfortable as Diane put her hand on his face. "Not the talking type? That's cute, can I kiss you? Maybe just a peck..." Diane asked.
Alec didn't respond, just froze there for a few seconds. "Let's just go to my room. Diane, please leave him alone," Elliot pleaded.
"Let me talk to him or do you want Mom to find out?" Diane asked, grinning at Elliot. Elliot went quiet and just froze there. "So, cutie, what about that kiss?" Diane asked, pulling Alec closer, staring innocently yet mischievously in his eyes.
Alec was pretty uncomfortable but was rather flattered.'I don't kiss people and she's really persistent and that makes me uncomfortable" Alec thought.
she pulled him closer then before and grabbed his face to pull him into a kiss but Alec started shaking his head aggressively and pulled away.
She wasn't hurt by that at all, she didn't seem like she cared at all. "Eh, I was just trying to mess with my brother." Diane shrugged.
'Of course,' Elliot thought.
Alec hugged Elliot from the back and rested his face on Elliot's shoulder. "You would have liked it " Diane jokely said.
Elliot worriedly looked at his mom, but she was passed out on the couch. They went to Elliot's room. Elliot started getting the blow up mattress ready when Alec started clinging onto Elliot which made the whole thing a little harder for him.
When the blow up mattress was fully blown up, Alec was so surprised to see it, he was expecting a normal air mattress, but it's a full queen sized bed, you can't even tell it's blown up, 'Rich people shit,' Alec thought. Elliot was so tired he just wanted to lay down and sleep but Alec just wouldn't sleep, couldn't sleep.
Alec kept thinking about everything, but also not trying to have a panic attack. "Alec, would it help if I were sleeping with you?" Elliot asked.
Elliot just wanted to sleep but was worried for Alec and honestly wasn't thinking completely. "...maybe," Alec mumbled.
Elliot without thinking crawled into the air mattress with Alec. Alec pulled him closer, snuggling into him, finally falling asleep. When they woke up the next day it was before Elliot's parents woke up. Elliot hurriedly woke Alec up.
He wanted to show Alec their built in movie theater with a popcorn machine and a cotton candy machine. It looks like a real movie theater area. 'Holy fuck they really are rich… this is actually cool, why does Elliot get to be so lucky? He has the perfect life, it's not fair! We struggle to even keep the house. I have been working since I was five and Elliot gets this without even trying. It's not fair, why don't they struggle, everything has been so easy to them, it's like it's just given to them, it's not fair!' Alec thought angrily. 'I need to calm down, he's showing me this for a reason.' Alec reasoned internally, trying to calm down.
"I know why you're nonverbal. You are dealing with a lot. I want to watch a movie to hopefully distract you from what's going on because you can't do anything about it and I know it's hard to talk about. But until you are ready to talk about it, I hope watching a movie will distract you and be helpful," Elliot explained with a light smile.
"So pick out something you would wanna watch," Elliot told Alec.
Alec picked out The Terror a few moments later. "The Terror?...is that a horror movie!?" Elliot asked, worried for his sleep. Elliot doesn't like horror movies.
Alec nodded. "Favorite," Alec muttered.
"Oh... if it's your favorite then we have to watch it..." Elliot said nervously.
As the movie started Alec had to eventually give his hand up to be used as a makeshift stress toy for Elliot. He was so jumpy that he screamed at a part that wasn't supposed to be scary.
