Chapter 15 - Sweet and warm 5

General Kaizo and Tangero were still in the vault, going through the documents. But Tangero couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. He felt a strange energy pulsating through the room and heard a woman's voice in his head saying, "It's time."

He rubbed his temples, trying to dismiss the voice as his imagination. But the feeling persisted, growing stronger with each passing moment.

General Kaizo noticed Tangero's discomfort and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Is everything alright?" he asked, his tone filled with concern.

Tangero hesitated for a moment before finally speaking up. "I don't know, sir," he said. "I just have this feeling that something is off.

General Kaizo's expression darkened.

We need to get out of here," he said, grabbing a handful of documents and stuffing them into his bag. "Now."

Tangero nodded, relieved that General Kaizo was taking his concerns seriously. They hurried out of the vault and made their way to the exit,

but as they reached the door, it suddenly slammed shut, trapping them inside.

General Kaizo cursed under his breath and drew his gun. "We're not alone," he said, his voice low and serious. "Stay alert."

Tangero felt a surge of fear, but he forced himself to stay focused. He knew that they needed to get out of there as quickly as possible if they wanted to survive.

Over time, as the base grew and expanded, the library became less frequently used and eventually fell out of regular circulation. However, the vault remained as one of the most secure locations on the base. It was decided that the vault would be a suitable place to store certain sensitive information that needed to be protected from prying eyes or potential sabotage.

In addition, the library staff were all vetted and trusted individuals who had undergone extensive security clearance procedures. This made it easier to monitor and control access to the vault and the sensitive information stored within. As a result, General Kaizo believed that the library vault was the most secure location for the sensitive information related to the covert operation against Chata-Novarctica that he and Tangero had just discovered.

Ana had been standing outside the vault room, waiting for General Kaizo and Tangero to finish. As she waited, she couldn't help but wonder why the base library would have sensitive information in the first place. It seemed odd to her that such information wouldn't be kept in a more secure location.

One possible reason why sensitive information was stored in the library vault could be that the library was one of the most secure locations in the base. It had been designed and built with the latest security measures to protect important and valuable information, such as historical records, rare books, and classified documents.

Someone had been standing outside the vault room, waiting for General Kaizo and Tangero to finish.
