General Kaizo nodded. "Hurry back. Time is of the essence."
Meanwhile, in a different part of the base, Tangero's uncle, General Toni, was in his office, talking with his secretary, Ana.
"Any updates on the supply situation?" General Toni asked, looking over a stack of reports on his desk.
Ana shook her head. "Not yet, sir. We're still waiting on the latest shipment to arrive from the mainland."
General Toni let out a frustrated sigh. "We can't afford any delays, Ana. Our troops need those supplies to stay in fighting shape."
"I understand, sir," Ana said, her voice calm and professional. "I'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything."
"Good," General Toni said, glancing at his watch.
his mind was preoccupied with the secret investigation he had asked Ana to do on his colleague.
He had noticed that GOA. Kaizo had been acting suspiciously lately, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. So, he had asked Ana to do some digging into General Kaizo's expedition to Chata-Novarctica 2 years ago , a region that was known to be a base for enemy forces.
Toni paused and turned to face Ana
"Ana," he said, his voice low and serious. "Any news on the investigation?"
Ana nodded, looking nervous. "Yes, sir. I've uncovered some interesting information about General Kaizo's trip to Chata-Novarctica. It seems that he made some unusual detours and spent more time there than was strictly necessary."
General Toni's eyes narrowed. "What kind of detours?"
"It's hard to say for certain, sir," Ana said, hesitating slightly. "But there were reports of him meeting with some questionable characters and visiting some off-the-grid locations."
Toni leaned forward, his interest piqued. "What kind of characters and locations?"
Ana took a deep breath. "According to my sources, General Kaizo was seen meeting with a known arms dealer and visiting a remote facility rumored to be involved in experimental weapons research."
Toni's jaw tightened, his mind racing with possibilities. "I see. Keep digging, Ana. We need to know everything there is to know about General Kaizo's activities."
"Yes, sir," Ana said, looking worried. "But what are you planning to do?"
General Toni's expression grew even more serious. "I'm not sure yet, Ana. But I won't let anything compromise the safety and security of this base and our troops."
General Toni furrowed his brow in thought as Ana finished relaying the information about General Kaizo's trip to Chata-Novarctica.
"Thank you, Ana," he said. "That's helpful.
Ana nodded, but then hesitated for a moment before speaking up. "Sir, I also noticed something else that might be relevant. General Kaizo has been going to the library more than usual lately, always at the same time. He arrives at 10:30 when Tangero is on duty and leaves at 11:45."
General Toni's eyes widened with interest. "The library? That's interesting. And Tangero is always on duty at that time?"
"Yes, sir," Ana confirmed. "I thought it was odd, so I asked Tangero about it. He said that General Kaizo had asked him to read some books on military tactics and engagement, but he didn't think anything of it at the time."
General Toni rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Interesting. I wonder what General Kaizo is looking for in the library. We need to find out."
