After dinner, the doorbell rang, and Orion went to answer it. Upon opening the door, he was greeted by the shy and sweet Hinata. He smiled and invited her in, curious about her unexpected visit.
"Um, I came to practice for the Theater class," Hinata explained, her cheeks slightly pink. "Since you are Romeo and I'm Juliet, I thought we could rehearse our lines together."
Orion agreed, eager to help Hinata feel more comfortable in her role. He led her to his room so they could study the script and work on their parts. Little did they know, Aurora and Luna were stealthily following them, determined to make sure Hinata didn't take advantage of their beloved brother.
In Orion's room, Hinata and Orion sat down with their scripts, flipping through the pages to find the most iconic and romantic scenes from Romeo and Juliet. As they began to rehearse, they couldn't help but feel a connection between them, their voices blending harmoniously as they spoke the timeless words of Shakespeare.
The first scene they tackled was the famous balcony scene, where Romeo professes his love for Juliet. Orion, as Romeo, spoke with passion and conviction, while Hinata, playing Juliet, responded with a mixture of vulnerability and strength.
"O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?" Hinata recited, her eyes meeting Orion's as they both felt the emotions of the scene.
Next, they practiced the scene in which the lovers secretly wed, their devotion to each other unwavering despite the danger surrounding them. Orion and Hinata exchanged vows, their voices filled with tenderness and longing.
"Within the infant rind of this weak flower,
Poison hath residence and medicine power," Hinata whispered, her hand reaching out to touch Orion's, their connection growing stronger with each line.
As they continued to rehearse, they moved on to the scene where Romeo and Juliet share their first night together as husband and wife. The intimacy of the moment made Hinata blush and Orion excited, but they pressed on, determined to portray the characters' love authentically.
"O, I have bought the mansion of a love,
But not possessed it," Orion murmured, his eyes locked with Hinata's as they leaned closer to each other.
Meanwhile, Aurora and Luna were listening intently from behind the door, their hearts racing with both excitement and anxiety. They were so focused on making sure Hinata didn't take advantage of Orion that they almost forgot about the beauty of the scenes they were hearing.
The fourth scene they practiced was the heart-wrenching moment when Romeo discovers that Juliet has seemingly died. Orion, as Romeo, wailed in despair, his grief palpable.
"O my love! My wife!
Death, that hath sucked the honey of thy breath,
Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty," he cried, his voice raw with emotion.
Hinata, as the seemingly lifeless Juliet, couldn't help but feel a pang of sorrow at Orion's performance, her heart aching for the tragic lovers.
Finally, they reached the climactic scene where Juliet awakens to find Romeo dead by her side. As Hinata delivered Juliet's lines with desperate grief, the emotion in the room was almost overwhelming.
"Yea, noise? Then I'll be brief. O happy dagger!
This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die," she whispered, her voice shaking as she collapsed onto the floor, mirroring Juliet's tragic end.
Just as Orion and Hinata were about to share a tender, emotional kiss, Luna burst into the room, feigning ignorance of the tender moment she had just interrupted. "Oh, I brought some tea for you both. I hope I'm not disturbing you," she said, her voice innocent and sweet.
Orion, seeing through his sister's antics, glanced at the tea and noticed it was cold. Clearly she was holding onto that tray of tea for some time now, but decided to barge in now. However, he chose not to point it out, understanding his sisters' over-protectiveness. He smiled and thanked Luna for the tea, trying to dispel the awkwardness in the room.
Luna, satisfied that she had successfully thwarted any romantic advances, excused herself and left the room, leaving Hinata and Orion alone once more.
Feeling the need to address the interrupted moment, Orion gently took Hinata's hand in his and slowly walked her over to the wall. Her back pressed against the cool surface, her eyes locked onto his as her face flushed a deep shade of red.
"What are you doing, Orion?" Hinata murmured, her heart racing in her chest.
"I'm finishing the scene," he replied with a grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
As he slowly leaned in, his face inching closer to hers, he gave her plenty of time to back away if she wanted to. But Hinata, entranced by the intensity of the moment, closed her eyes and waited in anticipation and trepidation.
Their lips finally met in a soft, innocent kiss, a tender touch that sent a thrill through them both. The intensity of the feeling surprised them, as if a spark had ignited within their souls.
As they broke apart, Hinata's lips tingled with passion, and she couldn't help but smile shyly at the sweet exchange. Orion, too, felt a warmth spread through his chest, amazed by the depth of the emotions he experienced.
In the hallway outside, Aurora and Luna listened with a mixture of curiosity and protectiveness. They couldn't deny the beauty of the moment they had just witnessed, but their love for their brother made them fiercely protective of his well-being.
Aurora couldn't help but whisper triumphantly , "No one can take away brother from us. This is how we do it."
Luna nodded in agreement, her eyes filled with pride and love for their brother. "We'll just have to keep an eye on them, make sure she doesn't do anything to brother."
Back in Orion's room, Hinata and Orion stared into each other's eyes, the air between them electric with the emotions they had just shared. Their hearts raced, their breaths coming in shallow gasps as they processed the intensity of the kiss.
Hinata, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, glanced down at her hands and stammered, "I... I should probably go. We've rehearsed enough for today."
Orion, feeling cheeky, gave her a warm smile and gently escorted her to the door. "Thank you for coming, Hinata. I think we'll make a great Romeo and Juliet."
As Hinata slipped out the door, she couldn't help but glance back at Orion, her eyes shimmering with a mix of shyness and newfound affection. "Goodbye, Orion," she whispered, her heart racing as she left.
With Hinata gone, Aurora and Luna wasted no time in entering Orion's room, attempting to appear casual as they asked about his time with Hinata.
"So, how did the rehearsal go, brother?" Luna inquired, feigning nonchalance as she pretended not to know about the events that had just transpired.
Aurora chimed in, her voice equally innocent, "Yes, we didn't hear much out there, but it sounded like you two were really getting into your roles."
Orion couldn't help but chuckle at his sisters' poorly veiled curiosity. He knew they had been listening the entire time, but he decided to play along. "It went well," he said, keeping his voice light and carefree. "I think we'll be ready for the performance."
Luna, unable to resist her protective instincts, offered to help him rehearse if he ever needed it. "You know, if you ever need to practice, Aurora and I would be more than happy to help."
Aurora quickly agreed, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Yes, we're always here for you, brother."
Orion couldn't help but laugh at his sisters' dedication. "Thank you, I appreciate the offer," he said, ruffling their hair affectionately. "But I think Hinata and I have it under control."
As the three of them settled into a comfortable conversation, they couldn't help but reflect on the events of the day. From the embarrassing sex education class to the tender moments shared between Orion and Hinata, it had been a whirlwind of emotions and experiences.
Aurora, always the adventurous one, couldn't help but think about how exciting it would be to experience such a passionate romance herself. She daydreamed about the thrill of a forbidden love, her heart pounding with anticipation at the mere thought of it, but couldn't shake the face of her brother off her mind no matter how hard she tried.
Luna, the more introspective sister, considered the complexities of love and the many different forms it could take. She thought about her mothers, Elara and Selene, and the powerful bond they shared, as well as the love she and her siblings had for one another. It was a beautiful, multifaceted emotion that held an infinite number of possibilities. Her love for her brother was proof of the beauty of the emotion.
Meanwhile, Orion found himself lost in thoughts of Hinata, the sweet, gentle girl who had ignited a spark within him. Their tender kiss still lingered on his lips, and he couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. With a mixture of excitement and trepidation, he looked forward to exploring the depths of their newfound connection.
As the siblings continued their conversation late into the night, they reveled in the love and support that surrounded them. From the fierce protectiveness of their mothers to the unbreakable bond they shared with one another, they knew they could face any challenge, so long as they had each other.
Even as they navigated the complexities of life and love, they remained steadfast in their loyalty and devotion to one another. For in their hearts, they knew that the most powerful force in their lives was the love they shared as a family.
