*King's Dreamscape*
"Come here little Demigod. You may have a strong mind but I can still feel you there listening to me." A dark voice was heard all throughout King's mind. King's face turned into a frown. "Show yourself! I do not welcome intruders into my mind! So do not be a coward and reveal yourself!" King yelled. "Such an interesting boy you have no idea who you speak to but yet you still have so much confidence." The voice spoke amusingly. "What do you want? Only the fates have entered my Dream-space so tell me!" The voice chuckled. "Help me boy help me raise from the underworld. I can help you reunite with your friend. You can do everything and anything you ever wanted." "Leave my mind Kronos! You and I both know neither Thalia nor Perseus will assist you. You have no child of the Eldest Gods to help you rise!" Kronos was laughing even harder. "Do not try to interpret a Prophecy created before you were born. "A child of the eldest Gods' that includes you, Grandchild." King looked confused. "What do you mean!" "Demeter is one of the eldest gods as well. All of her children just lacked the power needed to carry out the task but I can sense that you have no qualms with power. Even now I can still sense your ever growing might. Join me Harlequin." King stood his ground. "You are not welcome in my head now, leave!" King shouted as he released his aura and left the dreamscape.
*Real world*
King woke up in a jolt and looked around to see no one else was awake. ~This is concerning. Kronos has his eyes on me already. I need to improve my mental defenses.~ King thought as he sat on the couch. He stood up and made his way to the kitchen to start cooking breakfast. He lost track of time while he was cooking and did not notice Grover and Annabeth come into the room. "Chef King what's on the menu today." Grover spoke as he came into the room. "For you I have some Oatmeal. For everyone else I got some eggs, bacon and pancakes. You of course are more than welcomed to anything else if you want." King said as he finished cooking he heard a scratch on the door of the house. "I'll be right back." He said as he turned off the stove and walked to the front door.
King walked to the door and to his surprise it was the pink poodle of all things at the door. "Well then fella you wanna come in" King asked as he opened the door. The pair walked into the kitchen and was greeted with a now awakened Percy and a confused Annabeth and Grover. "What's up with the poodle?" King shrugged. " I don't know it was scratching at the door," he said as he reached down and handed the dog some bacon. "Hey Grover, can you translate for us?" Grover nodded and relayed the information back to the group. "His name is Gladiola, he is trying to find his way home." "Well hello Gladiola let's get you back to your family." King said as Gladiola barked happily and they all finished breakfast and were on their way.
*After Dropping off Gladiola*
"At least we can get closer to L.A." Annabeth said as they all made their way to a train platform. "Yeah it's quite lucky." Percy agreed as they all made their way to the train. King stopped in his tracks and looked around. "Guys go quickly get to the train, something is coming this way." King hastily told the rest of the group. King pulled out Elucidator and readied for a fight. He didn't have to wait long as soon he was greeted with the sight of a Leucrotaes. "It's rare to see one of you alone now. Why are you here, turn around and be on your way and we do not need to fight." King said. The leucrotae looked at King, opened its mouth and then spoke. "Where is he, the child of the sea! I can smell him!" "He has already left. You alone are not enough to take me, so turn around and leave!" The beast hissed at King and then charged.

King brought his sword down and sliced at the creature ready for the easy kill; the blade made contact and went through the beast. But King noticed that the monster was still alive and barely harmed. ~What?! I cut clean through it!~ The Leucrotaes got up and laughed, " Well it seems you skipped our history lessons boy." It said as it sliced at King landing the first blow.

It finally clicked in King's head where he went wrong. "Your kind can't be killed by godly or human metals." He said seething. He turned around and saw the beast smirking. King brought up his hand and then got the last laugh. ~Fireball!~ King's hand lit on fire and he flung the blue fireball at the creature.
[-7,938! Defeated Leucrotae!]
King smirked at the notification and walked away from the battle scene. He quickly made his way back to the others. Once he caught up he found them cornered by 3 other Leucrotaes. Running the same stats as the last one with some variations. King dashed at the attackers. ~Burning Sun Slash!~ He cut clean through two this time they poofed to dust because of the magical quality added to the attack. "All of your pack is dead but you leave or join them!" The final Leucrotaes hissed and charged King with its claws ready King ducked and rolled out of the way he looked at the creature and what he saw made him snap. The Leucrotaes had struck Annabeth in the stomach with its claw and she was slowly losing blood.
[Annabeth Chase 5,000/6,500 Hp!]
"Annabeth!!!" King yelled as he ran the to girl now of the ground. "King? I let my guard down didn't I." She spoke softly to the boy. "Hold on, you're going to be fine! Grover!" The satyr came running to the pair. "Here make sure she eats this it will help her." King said as he handed Grover a Senzu Bean.
King slowly got up from the ground and looked at the creature. "I'll give you 5 seconds to pray to whatever god you choose." He said calmly but filled with anger as he tread closer like a lion stalking its prey. His blade was glowing white- hot and flames started coming off it. The monster started to sweat and turned to run away it knew that in the game of cat and mouse it was now the mouse. As the Leucrotae tried to run away, King vanished and appeared in front of it. "Please Mercy I will never show my face to you again just please let me go!" It spoke in a male voice. "Sorry fresh out of Mercy!" King yelled as his blade cut the creature clean in half he heard its screams then it crumbled to dust and vanished in the wind.
King ran to Grover and Annabeth to check if she was okay. "How is she?" King asked Grover. "She would have been fine if you would have just killed that thing in the first place! Now look at what happened to her!" Percy yelled before Grover could speak. King slowly turned to Percy with his hair covered eyes and spoke quietly. "Listen here Perseus Jackson. If you even try to say that it was my intention to get Annabeth hurt again I'll Kill you." King spoke, releasing some Killing intent. " I have known Annabeth since we were children. I was the one who made sure she got to camp. And I swear you ever pull that crap again I'll make you regret it!" He looked up and his eyes were dark green and filled with anger. "Guys this isn't the time or place for this. She is fine that bean healed her wound she's just asleep now." Grover said, trying to play peacekeeper. King turned away from the son of the sea god and then picked up Annabeth's bridal style as Kyria landed on the girl's chest looking like she was making sure the young girl was fine as well. "Let's get on the train we still have some ground to cover." King said as he walked away getting onto their train.
King found his way into one of the rooms of the train and laid Annabeth on the mattress. "Kyria please guard her." The owl let out a loud shriek and sat on the bedpost. King left the room and slowly closed the door. He had to make sure that the other two made it onto the train. After some searching he found Percy and Grover. "Where is she?" Grover asked. "She's in a room sleeping Kyria is watching over her." King replied. "You are having an owl watch her? What the hell is an owl going to do?" King just looked at Percy and said, "I trust that owl more than I trust you right now. As a matter of fact I recall that owl stalling Medusa until you got yourself in gear and killed her so, yes I am confident that Kyria can protect Annabeth." King replied. They sat there for a while longer and then a woman came by with a good cart. "Why isn't this a surprise? How are all you kiddies doing? Are you hungry?" King looked at the women and was pleasantly surprised at who he saw. "Mom?" King asked. The woman chuckled. "You know your Aura sensing is broken how am I ever supposed to surprise you when you can tell where I am." The now identified Demeter said. King got up and hugged his mother. "Lady Demeter." Grover said as he stood and bowed. Percy reluctantly did the same. "Hello boys I'm glad to see you are fine. Where is your other member I thought there were 4 of you." Demeter asked. "Annabeth is sleeping right now we were attacked and one of the monsters landed a blow." King said. "Oh dear I hope she is fine!" King nodded, "Yeah she is fine just sleeping. I made sure we healed her up. Kyria is watching over her now. "Well I am glad that you are all okay and that you are progressing. You know my brother was very upset about that stunt you pulled with the Hermes Delivery." Demeter spoke. King chuckled and then asked. "What happened?"
*Flashback Olympus Throne Room*
"Dionysus, what is the current status of the quest?" Zeus asked. "The quest will be given to Perry Johnson." Dionysus said, Poseidon shot a look at him and the god of wine then cleared his throat and continued. "I mean Percy Jackson. He has taken Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood, and Harlequin Liones." "Well that is a very logical choice. Grover is a well trained satyr having brought to camp a child of Zeus, Poseidon and a very strong child of Demeter. Annabeth is a very strong and smart girl and she can round out the team very well. Then there is the accused, what better way to prove his innocence than for him to find the bolt and to round it all out the strongest Demigod at the camp. Those are excellent choices." Athena said. "Yes, with Harlequin out there my bolt will be found even if the boy does not like me. I know he still get a job done." Zeus said. "My son could have done it without Harlequin's help but knowing he is there is reassuring." Poseidon said. Hermes perked up from his chair. "We have a delivery! It seems it's from Percy and King." He said as the package flashed into his hands. "Address to you father." Hermes said, handing his father the package. Zeus opened it and was disgusted. "How dare he mock me like this!!" He yelled as the head of Medusa rolled out of the package with a note that said "From PJ" Zeus was seething and what Hera did next did not help the situation. "There seemed to be something else." She pulled out a Lighting bolt toy out of the box and it had a note. "It doesn't back the same punch but it can keep you over until we find the real one.- Harlequin." Hermes and Apollo were laughing very hard. "That's my grandson!" "Hahaha are you sure he isn't related to me more!" Zeus grabbed the toy and squeezed it. "Buzz Buzz." The toy made a noise. Now everyone was laughing at the Angered Zeus. "Hahaha I like that runt!" "Seems the cutie has a funny side as well." Zeus just threw the toy across the room and then flashed away in a boom of thunder.
*End of Flashback*
The boys on the train were dying with laughter. "Oh man it does not get any better than that!" King said, wiping away a tear. Demeter just shook her head. "Well I'm off to Olympus to give a report and try to stay safe. And good luck." Demeter said she kissed King on the forehead and flashed away. "I'm going to check on Annabeth." King said to the other two boys who were trying to catch their breath still. He walked away and opened the room that Annabeth was in. Once the door opened he ducked a claw swipe from Kyria. "Thanks for protecting her but it's just me you crazy bird." Kyria cawed at King as he walked into the room she perched herself onto his shoulder. He made his way to the other side of the room and sat in the chair and drifted to sleep.
*Time Skip*
King woke up from his sleep and got up from his chair. He looked around and noticed Annabeth and Kyria were gone. He sprinted out of the room looking for them. He found all of the group in the dining cart. King made his way to the group. "Hey King, thanks for staying in the room last night and having Kyria there and for saving me." Annabeth said. King poked her forehead with two fingers. "Anytime Wise Girl." She blushed at the affection that she received. "Well it looks like I have to up my training when we get back to camp. I really need to be aware of my surroundings." King nodded and sat next to the girl. They ate their food and made conversation until their train came to a stop.
"Where are we?" Asked Percy. Before anyone else could speak Annabeth let out a squeal. "Look, it's the St. Louis Arch!!" She said in awe. King chuckled at her and then looked at Percy. "Does that answer your question?" They slowly moved their way to the monument. "I wanna do something like that one day." She said pointing at the Arch. "You a builder, yeah right." Percy said. "Well better than a certain sea god who destroys." Annabeth retorted. "Annie it's okay I believe in you. Who knows, maybe one day you could redesign Olympus itself." King said encouragingly. "Thanks King. Hey let's get a picture together!" Annabeth told King. He nodded and took out a Polaroid camera. "Grover, can you take the picture?" King asked. Grover nodded as the pair got into position. Annabeth giving King a sideways hug with Kyria preached on her shoulder. "Okay on 3. 1.2.3." Grover went and snapped the picture and as he did Annabeth Kissed King's cheek so now the picture showed them side by side under the arch with the girl on her toes kissing the boy. Annabeth was blushing madly and King supported a blush of his own. While Percy on the sideline was furious at the action. "Come on, let's get to the top of this stupid thing." Percy said with a frown as he walked away from the blushing pair and a highly amused satyr.
The group now finds themselves on the outside of the Arch going up. "No children dears?" "No ma'am my father is in Colorado we are on our way to met him just stopping to take in the sights." King replied as he looked at a small woman with a dog and a fox? ~Wait, a dog and a fox. This isn't good.~ King thought to himself. They made their way onto a viewing platform and slowly back to go back down. "Sorry Cart is full." An attendant said. "It's okay we will wait for our friends." Annabeth said. "No it's okay Percy and I will meet you at the bottom okay Wise Girl. Kyria keep an eye on them okay?" The bird nodded to her owner knowingly and the elevator started to descend. "Percy get ready for a fight; the women with the dog and the fox are not human. I'll take on the women and the fox you take the dog. Percy was confused and then asked "What are you talking about?" "They are monsters Percy and they are here to more than likely kill you or just you so prepare for a fight." King said a little more harshly this time making the Boy nod and pull out his pen leaving the cap on.
"Well I guess now is the best time as any sonny." The woman told her barking dog. "What an interesting thing to call the Chimera, Echidna. And is that the uncatchable Fox? I'm curious why you don't have another one of your children." King spoke. "Well you are a smart one!" Echidna said. "Lord Zeus sent me to test you and recommended I bring the fox along to keep you busy with Harlequin Liones. You are the one who killed my Child the Nemean Lion last. I will have my revenge for that!" She spoke. King brought out both of his blades and brought them both to life. "You wanna fight, fine I'll fight! Watch as I catch the uncatchable fox and destroy another one of your children!" King announced as he fell into his two sword style stance.

"Percy, I will handle the fox and Echidna. You need to take on the Chimera. It can breathe Fire and watch out for its tail; it's very poisonous." King said, staring down the opposing trio. "Why do I have to take on the Fire breathing lion creature while you fight a Fox?" Percy complained. "Because I am faster and More trained! That is the uncatchable fox! The only thing that led to its demise was that Zeus sent the tracker wolf that never failed to catch something. After what seemed like years of endless chase, they both turned to stone and were immortalized in the stars! So, I take on the fox and the crazy woman whose kitty cat I killed, and you take on the Chimera." King said a little harsher this time. "Fine whatever!" Percy said as he uncapped Riptide prepared to fight. "Die Demigods!" Echidna yelled as the fox and Chimera charged at the demigods.

Okay that concludes this chapter I hope y'all enjoyed it. We got some action and some more bonding for a potential Pairing. Next will be the big fight on the Arch!
King will go to the Shinobi world when they go into the Casino. You guys will see how that happens. Let me know what you all think about the books so far and if you have suggestions.
