The Chimera lead the charge of the monsters opened its mouth and started to breathe fire. ~Wood Style: Wood Locking Wall~ King slammed his hands on the ground as a sturdy wall blocked the flames from the Chimera. "Percy you can use your water manipulation to draw the water out of the pipes or sprinklers. It will help you in your battle. I'm going to take out Echidna so I can focus on the Fox." Percy nodded and then took off sprinting around the wall. ~Here goes nothing!~ King thought.
King took off from the other side of the wall while the monster trio was focused on Percy. King whipped around and sliced at Echidna with his Thunder God sword she barely had time to dodge the swing and he ended up nicking her side.

"You little Pest!!" She yelled and went to swipe at King he blocked with the flat of his Elucidator but all of a sudden he was flying across the room taking a hit from the Teumessian fox. "Stupid fox!"

King yelled, then slammed his hands on the ground and activated another skill. ~Wood Style: Wood Limb Technique!~

Wooden tendrils came to life trying to catch the fox but he couldn't touch it thinking quickly he turned the tendrils to Echidna catching her off guard and landing a hit.

The tendrils slowed down Echidna long enough for King to speed in front of her. "Go join your cat!!" He yelled as he swung the Elucidator around slicing the Mother of All Monsters with a clean and powerful blow.

King kicked and flipped away from Echidna as he was mid turn he made eye contact with her and Smirked. ~Fireball!~A massive blue fireball erupted from King's hand and slammed into the dazed Echidna.

King landed at taking a look at his surroundings. He noticed Chimera was about to bite Percy with its snake tail. "Percy look out for the tail!" King yelled. King hurled a low-level Fireball at the tail even though it did no damage it moved quickly and distracted the tail allowing Percy to roll out of the way and run to King. "Thanks, man!" "Don't mention it! I got your back!" King said in return. The beast pair had their backs to the glass stalking toward Percy and King. "Percy get ready to charge if that mutated beast uses its fire I'll handle it," King said lowly staring down the fox and Chimera.
Surely enough the Chimera opened its mouth and shot fire. ~Full counter!~ The stream of fire seemed to concentrate at the flat of King's blade before returning toward the monsters blowing fire out of the side of the building.

"You got them! Nice hit." Percy said. "They are not done for yet. We are still facing the fastest beast in the world and a sibling of the Nemean Lion." King said. "Percy you've done good again that beast so far go finish it up okay watch out for the snake tail." Percy smiled and nodded running at the Chimera. "Okay, Foxy let's do this," King said turning toward the Teumessian Fox. "Roarrrr!" The Fox let out a massive roar and then charged King.

King's eyes misted over and he foresaw everything the beast was going to do. He rolled left ducked right and flipped backward. King's eyes turned back to normal and he took up his defensive stance. "Here Foxy, Foxy," King said readying himself. Sure enough, the fox appeared on his right and King tilted his head to avoid the blow and then swung his sword missing the blow. "Damn so close!" King said. He started making his way to Percy to provide backup.

"King, did you finish up?" Percy asked dodging another blow. "No the damn thing is too slippery I figured I come to help you then we skin the fox together," King said. Percy nodded. The son of the sea twisted around a hit and moved in to deal the final blow to the Chimera but the snake tail showed its ugly face again and bit Percy. "Aghhh!" "Percy!" King yelled running to the fallen boy. "It burns!!" Percy yelled squirming around. "Percy you need to jump into the water. It will save you. The son of the sea has no fear of the water it will heal you. Pray to your father Percy and jump!" King said blocking blows from the Chimera and the fox. "Will you be okay?" King chuckled. "Oh I better be okay or Annabeth will kill me." Percy laughed as he walked his way to the edge and fell backward into the river below.
King turned and looked at the two creatures staring him down. "You wanna fight let's finish this!" King shouted. Both beasts responded with a giant roar as they went to attack King. ~Increased Tempo!~ King activated his skill and saw the boost in his

Taking off like a bullet King was all of a sudden behind the Chimera with his sword extended ending what little life the Chimera had left. Vanishing into dust King was left with the Teumessian Fox left the beast who usually moved in blurs was crystal clear now King jump left and twisted right dodging a barge of attacks. The large fox and the boy traded blows back and forth. The fox used a hit-and-run tactic while the boy used a block-and-retaliate method.

King looked at the fox and decided it was time to do something stupid. As everyone knows a Fox gets dangerous when cornered even King knew that but he was using so much energy and health he thought it was the best opinion. The fox charged at King again he brought up two fingers and spoke. "Perfect Cube!" A large purple cube encased King and the fox.

King's eyes widened as the fox got more feral and bloodthirsty. He hardened his emotions and got ready taking a defensive stance in a corner as it was a superior location. The fox rushed at blinding speeds once again King found himself having trouble blocking the blows and losing Hp. King looked around and then tried to swing at the blur with his Elucidator but it was whacked out of his hand and he found himself with one less weapon. Adjusting his stance he started twisting and parring blows as quickly as he could. [Future sight activated] King once again found himself looking forward and being able to dodge the next couple of attacks however when the Fox came in for its last blow that King foresaw he activated his [Vertical Square Skill.] The Elucidator glowed blue and King unleashed his combo as he started his motion just like future sight predicted the fox appeared right where he was targeting.

King's body was battered cloths ripped and he was extremely tired.

King slowly made his way to the exit making sure to use his mist manipulation skill to make it seem like it was a gas pipeline explosion that happened and not an act of terrorism as they thought in the book. Walking out of the building he got a notification.

King nodded in understanding at the system's notification. After all this world had magic, not Chakra so he needed to get to the Shinobi world before he could continue getting more techniques from Naruto. He continued looking at the rewards.

King closed the Screens and slipped the ring onto his finger. [Dex 83> 93!] Smiling he went on his way picking up a fox pelt, a chimera claw, and a snake scale from Echidna. He sat in the elevator making his way down he reached into his pocket and consumed a Senzu bean instantly feeling better. He walked out of the elevator and made his way to the beach, where news vans and crowds were everywhere. King concentrated very hard and used the mist to fit the cover story he had implanted on the cameras.
Finally making it to the edge of the water he found the rest of his group Grover standing there with Kyria on his shoulder, Percy barely standing and Annabeth supporting Percy so the boy didn't fall over. "Yo!" King said with a small wave. They all turned their heads to him. "What in Hades' name happened!" Annabeth yelled. "Didn't Percy tell you?" King said. Percy shook his head. "I thought you should take this one King." Percy smiled at King. "Traitor," King said putting down his head and sulking. "We were attacked by Chimera, Echidna, and the Teumessian Fox. It seemed Echidna held a grudge against me for killing her kitty cat. Also, they were sent to test Percy while the fox was sent to keep me out of the way." Grover and Annabeth looked with wide eyes. "The fox? You had to fight the uncatchable fox?" King scoffed. "Totally catchable by the Way it just goes crazy when you do!" Percy stood on his own feet now. "Hey, thanks for the help with the Chimera. I should have paid more attention then you wouldn't have had to face both those monsters at once." Percy said. "It's okay you got hit with the poison you needed to get into the water. Oh yeah here." King said tossing him the Chimera claw. "What's this?" "That's a spoil of war it's the Chimera's claw. Even though I got the last hit. You did the most damage to hit so it's yours. I got the fox's pelt honestly can't wait to show this sucker o-" King was cut off to being hit in the head by Annabeth. "You should have let us all help! Or get out of there when you had a chance! Idiot!" King nursed his head while the other two boys sat there and laughed at him. "Troublesome women," King muttered. "Well, what now?" King asked. "We have to get to Santa Monica. To meet Percy's dad." Grover chimed in. Percy then explained exactly what happened in the book. "Okay let's get going!" King said as he started making his way down the beach shore. "Going where exactly?" Percy said. "To the train station to see what they got," King replied.
The group made their way to the train station and once they got there they looked at what was available. "This one," King said pointing to an option. "Why that one?" Grover said. Annabeth looked at the one King pointed to Colorado Springs, Colorado. "Yeah, I agreed with Grover why that one?" King sighed "I know of a safety zone in Colorado where we can rest for the night and regain our strength without being chased by monsters. A completely monster-free zone." "Really?" Percy asked. King nodded, "Yup! And we can get some fresh clothes for those of us who aren't waterproof." They laughed at King's little joke. "Okay let's go." King paid for the tickets and they all boarded the train.
After an hour everyone was Asleep but King and Percy. "Hey, I am sorry for how I acted when Annabeth got hurt," Percy said. "It's okay I'm sorry for threatening you. I was heated because one of my friends was hurt and you were right I could have stopped her from getting hurt by just finishing off that monster. But I didn't and if she would have died I would have had to deal with that." King replied looking at a sleeping Annabeth cuddled with Kyria. "Friends?" Percy said sticking out his hand. "Friends," King said grabbing his hand and shaking it. "So where in Colorado is this haven," Percy asked. "It's my house where I grew up with my father until I went to camp. They figured the aura I gave off was strong very strong so monsters would come after me all the time. So I went to camp when I was 6 my father, Grover, and I all made the trip. My father is a son of Apollo making me a legacy. And my mother Demeter I was bound to have a strong aura." King and Percy sat there trading conversation and stories the whole trip neither of them noticed Grover and Annabeth with small smiles on their faces that the boys made up.
The trip on the train only lasted a few more hours before they got off in Colorado Springs. "Okay, guys we are going to move quickly and quietly we need to make sure any monster with any brain cells can not find this place. The group nodded as they made their way through the town at a swift pace avoiding trouble. They made it to the outskirts of the town where a forest rest. "Follow me," King said they walked for 10 minutes before coming to a 2 story house.
King walked to the door and knocked. "King, whose house is this?" Annabeth asked. "You'll find out once the owner gets his lazy butt up and comes here!" He said the last part louder and targeted toward the house. They all heard a noise from inside. "I'm coming I'm coming hold your horses." The door opened, "Can I help you?" The man looked at the group. "Grover, what are you doing here?" "James!" Grover spoke up excitingly. "Wow, you recognize the satyr before your son I'm hurt." King sat down in a corner by himself fake crying and drawing circles in the dirt. Everyone sweatdropped at the boy who knew he could be so Dramatic. "Son? King!!! How are you, my son!" James came out of the house and pulled King into a big hug. "King this is your Father?" Annabeth said looking at King's dad. "Okay, introduction time! Dad this is Annabeth Chase daughter of Athena, that's Kyria my pet owl, you know Grover and that is Perseus aka Percy Jackson son of Poseidon. Guys is this James Liones son of Apollo and my father." King said giving everyone the run down. "Ohhh so this is Annabeth! Well dear I've heard all about you! I'm glad you've been a great friend to King." "King talks about me?" Annabeth asked with her cheeks reddening. James nodded, "Oh yeah he talks about how there are a ton of Fangirls at the camp but you are a normal person and how you guys are best friends!" Annabeth looked at King. "Yeah, you have raised a great gentleman. I'm glad we are so close." Annabeth said with a huge smile. "Okay, so a son of Poseidon huh we better get inside where the ruins will hide you all before they get a whiff of King and Percy."
James ushered everyone into the house. "King, why are all your clothes torn up? Also, why are you all here?" King sighed. "In reverse order. We are on a quest to find Zeus' Master bolt which was stolen. I thought home would be the best place for us to rest considering it's a haven for traveling demigods. Also, my clothes were destroyed because we fought The Chimera, Teumessian Fox, and Echidna. Who is mad at me for killing her kitty cat still? After the fight on the Arch, we made our way here." "They gave you a hard time that's interesting. Were you holding back? I don't see Chastiefol." James pointed out. "What's a Chastiefol?" Percy asked. "Spirit Sword Chastiefol. A weapon even Hephaestus can not explain some of its properties. It has multiple forms and unlimited power. Its base form is that of a green pillow that floats and can even fly at high speeds if the holder of Chastiefol commands it. It can turn into a beautiful sword, a massive Sunflower, it can even turn things into stone." James answered looking at King. "It's gone. Destroyed." King said. "What do you mean gone? Even when it got broken in half it repaired itself." James asked. King looked down. Annabeth and Grover both also looked saddened. "It doesn't matter it's gone and now I have to do with what I have. Now if you will excuse me I need to use the restroom." King got up and left the group.
"Don't take it had James he lost more than Chastiefol that day," Grover said. "What day?" "The day I went to camp," Annabeth spoke up. Everyone looked at the girl after she took a breath she explained. "I've been at camp for 6 years. Before I got to camp I was with Luke and Thalia... we were in Virginia when Grover found us and someone came to help us get to camp. It took a while and there were some monster encounters but we finally got to Half Blood or as King calls it Half Broke Hill." "Why does he call it half broke hill?" James asked. Annabeth and Grover looked at each other and laughed a little. "Every time he has made a trip over that hill he has lost a sword or knife. Yeah, all until we got Percy here to camp he didn't break anything." Grover said still laughing. "Anyways we were there and then he gave Thalia and Me a bracelet and a necklace." She said thumbing the Necklace she wore beside her camp beads. "After that, I passed out," Annabeth said. "Then Luke and I picked up Annabeth and A very pissed off Thalia and hauled them to camp. Ki-"
"I stayed behind and created a Giant barrier," King said startling everyone. "In the barrier sat the 3 furies and about 100 hell hounds. Against me wielding Chastiefol and my first Elucidator." King continued as Annabeth unsheathed the sword she carried. "I faced them all killing the Hellhounds easily and facing the Furies was challenging. After that I slowly made my way to the camp's barrier half broken, bruised bleeding, and torn up. I met Thalia halfway there and she was about to get hit by a lightning bolt her father threw down. I blocked it with Chastiefol and Chastiefol exploded transforming into a tree. I passed out after that." King explained. James got up and hugged his son. "You lost it protecting a friend that's all the matters that the people we care for are protected." King flinched at his words. "She's not protected," King said lowly. "She's trapped. In her cabin by the fates. While I passed out I met them the sisters' Fate." James Paled at the thought of his son meeting 3 beings that scared even the gods. "What did they want," James said. "They were pissed that I messed with fate. They said it was Thailas destiny to become that tree and they had to correct what I messed up. Once I woke up there was a massive barrier around Thalia's cabin that no one can get into or out of." King said taking out his Notebook. "I have studied that Barrier almost every day trying to figure out how to get rid of it but there is something that messes with my head when I try to figure out the answers. It makes me not think clearly. Almost like it's afraid of me studying it because I'll figure out how to crack it." Annabeth looked at King surprised this was something he never shared with anyone. "What do you mean?" Grover asked before Annabeth could. "That's the thing Grover I don't know what I mean it's like something is stopping me from thinking it makes me angry and emotional and I can't control it." "Interesting," James said.
"Well I understand you have a quest to get done so why don't we will all go into town and get you some food and clothes." Clothes first please!" Annabeth spoke up very quickly. James chuckled, "Okay per the lady's Request Clothes first." King looked at his Father. "You know it's great to see you old man." He spoke with a small smirk. "Oh yeah, old man am I fine then you can pay for it all," James replied. "I'll pay for Annabeth and myself and maybe the boys within reason," King said shrugging. "Oh, so you don't mind spending money on Annabeth huh," James said teasingly. "No her mom or just my mom in general would probably kill me if I was mean to a girl so," King replied shrugging again.
The group got into James' car and made their way to the town. Once they got there King pulled out a wad of cash. "Okay, I got 600 bucks here you each get 200 go get what you want." He said as he handed out money to Grover, Percy, and Annabeth. "Kyria and I will be around town so if you guys need anything don't be afraid to holler for us. If you can't find us and something happens go back to my dad's place." King said walking away and waving everyone off. Before he could get far he was grabbed by his ear. "Oh no you don't! The last thing we need is you to get into another fight with a monster!" Annabeth lectured. "Oww, my ear is attached to my body!" King yelled. "Good, then you and your ear will be coming with me so you don't get into any trouble!" Annabeth said dragging King away as Kyria landed on the girl's Shoulder. "Help me?" King yelled. "No, you got this son!" James replied while he joined the other two boys laughing at King's misfortune.
King and Annabeth were browsing through stores. "Why did I have to come with you again?" King said. Annabeth turned and said, "So you didn't cause any trouble." "This is my home town I wouldn't try to cause trouble." "Whatever now come on let's check out that store!" Annabeth said as she dragged King to the next store. After a few hours of shopping Annabeth and King walked out of a store with several bags. "Okay let's get back to my Dad's place." He motioned to Kyria. "Find Grover and tell him Annabeth and I are going back to the house." Kyria nodded and flew off. Back at the house, King sat down all of the bags. "Okay, Annie go take a shower and get changed. I'll wait here for everyone else." Annabeth nodded grabbed a few things and skipped off to the Bathroom.
King sat in the living room and pulled open the Player store. Browsing through the store. ~Ares will be a big obstacle I need something to take him down but what can I do? Chastiefol would be great to have but I don't have it.~ He kept scrolling and found just what he needed.

King added all of the skills to his list with no issues. King sat back and relaxed waiting for everyone else to show up. "Hey, I hoped you wouldn't mind." King turned around and found Annabeth with wet hair and in a baggy shirt that he kept at the house when he came over during retrieval missions. "I.. ehh umm.." King found himself tongue-tied and flustered. With a red face, he spoke. "It fits you nice Annie. You should keep it." King said avoiding eye contact. "I think I'll do just that," Annabeth said with a smile on her face as she plopped down on the couch.
Ten Minutes later the rest of the group showed up. "Hey guys we're back!" James called out as he walked into the house. "In here!" King called out. "So you guys get everything you needed?" King asked "Yup!" Percy and Grover nodded. Kyria came and took her spot on King's shoulder. The boys noticed Annabeth in King's shirt which made Percy and Grover smirk while James got a teasing smile on his face. "So what did you two do while we were gone?" "Oh Annie took a shower and I took a nap. This couch is still uncomfortable by the way." A tick mark grew on James' head that's because it's not for you to sleep on!" He yelled smacking King in the back of the Head. "Ow, you crazy old man! Since people are here to watch the house Imma take a shower. You know Annabeth isn't exactly geared to fight so I thought I would wait." King said as he walked off toward the shower grabbing some clothes. Everyone sat around and made small talk. "So Percy how do you know King?" James asked. "Well, he posed undercover at my school and brought me into camp. He flung a lighting bolt back into the sky keeping our car from blowing up. It was so cool. He took on the Minotaur easily but something happened he got clawed by the Medusa sisters and he took them on too. He saves My mom and me." Percy summed up. "Wait Percy remember the bus?" Grover asked realizing. "What bus Grover?" Annabeth asked. "Before Percy went to camp. We were on a bus and it broke down and they were in a fruit stand. I think he went and talked to them." "Who's them?" James asked. "The Fates," Grover answered. "What was he doing talking to the fates again!" James exclaimed.
"I made them a deal." King came waking down wearing grey sweats and a towel around his neck. He also was twirling around Zoe's Hunter Knife. "A deal?" Annabeth asked. "Yeah, a deal. They were about to snip Ms. J's string so I told them to stop and made a deal with them. If I kept her safe they couldn't snip the thread and they gave me two more threads of people who I foresaw dying in the future. As you know I won the bet. They don't call me the Thread Nicker for nothing after all." King said with a sly smirk on his face. "Who's strings?" "Sorry will not say it puts them in danger also they are hidden in a place so they can't be touched those two people will live natural lives," King said closing his eyes as he placed the Knife on the table. "Why do you have a knife?" "I don't like being unarmed." Annabeth had a reddened face and asked. "Umm, why don't you have a shirt on?" ~Not that I mind.~ She asked keeping the last part to herself. "Oh, I don't usually wear one. I can put one on though." Annabeth waved her hands frantically. "No, it's fine!" King shrugged. "What if you would have lost?" James asked. "Doesn't matter because I didn't lose. Also, I am not planning to bet with them anytime soon." King spent several more minutes dodging the question in which time Percy and Grover both got their showers. "Okay let's hit the hay we got some more ground to cover," King said standing up. "I say Annie can sleep in my room, Grover and Percy share the guest room and I'll bunk down here on the couch." "Sounds like a good plan," James responded. They all when toward their assigned rooms and went to sleep.

Next time will be meeting Ares! I changed the meeting location obviously to Colorado Springs in the morning so the timeline is a little off time wise all the stuff with Ares will be going in the morning so June 15, 2005.
