A boy had appeared in front of Nanako's house.
Nanako saw a boy outside her house.
knock knock "Uhmm, is anyone here?"
Nanako quickly went to the boy and asked, "Who are you? And what are you doing here?"
To which he responded, "I-uhmm.. I'm looking for the residents of this house. I'm assigned to tutor their daughter, I think..."
"OH, THEN YOU MUST BE MY MAGIC TEACHER!!" Nanako jumped in joy and welcomed the young man into the house.
"So, what's your name?"
"Uhm.. My name is... Hanako."
"That's a great name... though I don't think it really fits a boy like you. And why do you speak so slowly all the time? Is there something wrong?"
"Uhm... I'm just really shy with other people... I'm sorry if it causes any problems..."
"No, no, it's fine. I was just curious."
"Let's just wait for your parents before we start, okay?"
"Sure, would you like some tea or coffee while waiting?" Nanako went to the kitchen while waiting for Hanako's response.
"Uhmm, I'd like a cup of tea," he replied. "Okay! One cup of tea coming right up."
Amane and Kotoe got back home and saw Hanako and Nanako drinking tea at the table.
"Oh my, I see you've already met your magic teacher." "Well then, I guess that saves us from introducing him to you."
They headed outside, and Hanako asked Nanako a few questions.
"First, when did you know that you have magic? Second, what did you do to activate it? And lastly, third, what was it?"
To which Nanako responded, "It was when I was training my sword skills. That day, I felt lighter and faster than usual. I don't know what it is, it just suddenly happened."
"Hmm, I see. Before I start with the lesson, I'd like to introduce you to the world of magic first. There are 5 physical elements and 2 abstract concepts that exist beyond the physical world."
"A power that would make the person ascend to godhood."
"Interesting... So, which element do I have?" Nanako asked, and Hanako responded with, "Based on your descriptions, it seems that you have wind magic. A power to control the wind and boost your movement."
Nanako's eyes widened in surprise. "Wind magic? That's amazing!" she replied. "I can already imagine everything I can do with it."
Hanako walked back slowly and started running away. "Where do you think you're going? You're supposed to teach me magic! Hey, come back here!"
After a few minutes of Nanako chasing Hanako, she finally caught him. "Aha! I finally caught you! Now you need to teach me magic!"
To which he replied, "Fine, fine, you win..."
"So first off, you need to learn how to control your magic. Close your eyes and focus the magical energy on your surroundings."
"Now, channel them all to your hand, imagine your hand is a magnet, and the magical energies are attracted to it."
"Then say it with me. Windblade!"
"Windblade!"
A strong wind current appeared. The pressure was so strong that it went through a rock like butter.
Nanako's eyes widened in amazement as she saw the power of her wind magic. "Wow, that was incredible!" she exclaimed. "That was so cool!"
"I know, right? And there's more than that too!"
Hanako taught Nanako the basics of wind magic. From magic that would enhance her movement to strong wind attacks that would push out the enemies.
"Wow! There are so many things I can do with magic!" Nanako exclaimed. Hanako responded with, "Yeah, there is. Wind magic represents freedom, and there is wind magic that would make you fly!"
"Really? Wow! I want to learn how to do that soon! Can you teach me how to?" she asked. "I'm sorry, but I myself can't use it as well..."
"Ah... Is that so? Well then, if you do learn how to do it, make sure to teach me how to use it!"
"Sure, I will. But for now, I'll train you and teach you everything I know."
One day, while training in the forest, she came across a strange artifact. It was a small hilt without a blade, with intricate runes engraved on its surface. When she picked it up, she felt a strange energy run through her body. She gave the handle to Hanako, who was fascinated by the artifact.
"It's a very unusual magic," he said. "I've never seen anything like it before."
Nanako is determined to unlock the secrets of the artifact, and she begins channeling her magical energy into it, trying to awaken its power. After weeks of practice, she was finally able to infuse wind magic into the hilt of her sword.
To her surprise, the hilt began to emit a strange pulsating energy, and a blade entirely made of wind appeared at the end of the hilt. Nanako is amazed at the power of the Wind Sword, and she knows that she has unlocked a new level of her magical abilities.
An ancient runic inscription started glowing on the hilt after she activated it, and it said, "ᛗᚨᚤ ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᛟᚹᛖᚱ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚹᛁᚾᛞ ᚷᚢᛁᛞᛖ ᚤᛟᚢ."
The blade she created is weak; it can barely cut through wood, and the blade is small. It must be because of her small mana pool as she just started using magic.
"Well, that's disappointing..." Nanako sat on a tree trunk with a disappointed face.
Hanako tried to cheer her up. "It's fine; you just started using magic, anyway. I'm sure you'll get stronger, and that blade will grow stronger as well."
"I hope so... But still, this sword is cool-" Nanako felt the ground shaking and heard a loud growl. "WHAT WAS THAT?!"
A dragon-like creature had appeared. It had big wings and 2 pairs of legs.
"I-it's a Wyvern!" he yelled. "Run, Nanako! There's no way we'll win against it!"
