Chapter 8 - A "Match-Made"

Throughout the day, Daisy made every effort to avoid Edward. She believed it was better to stay alone than to face potential teasing or awkward interactions. Gathering her bags, she exited the school building and began heading towards the bus stop. Just then, a girl from her class caught up to her.

"Daisy, where are you going? Our class is at the playground, where section 2 and our class are playing football," the girl said, taking Daisy's hand and offering a warm, affectionate smile. Daisy found it hard to refuse such a kind gesture, and her classmate's approach was quite appealing. She decided to go along with her to the playground.

As they reached the school playground, Daisy was greeted by other students, including Edward Leo, who was sitting alone in a corner, seemingly distant from the rest of the group. Some girls were whispering and casting glances in his direction, but Edward appeared unperturbed by the attention.
