Daisy sat on her bed, her heart racing, as she read and re-read Edward's apology text. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Edward, who often appeared aloof and distant, had taken the initiative to reach out and apologize to her. It was an unexpected gesture that left Daisy feeling both surprised and touched.

As she looked at the time stamp on the message, she realized that Edward had sent it before the football event, which meant he had been carrying the weight of his actions all day. Daisy couldn't help but wonder why he hadn't apologized to her face-to-face, but at the same time, she appreciated that he had found the courage to express his regret through a text message.

Her mind was flooded with conflicting emotions. On one hand, she was embarrassed by the attention she had received from her peers and the school community, all discussing "Swagger Edward Leo." It made her feel self-conscious, as if everyone was now observing her interactions with Edward.
