Lena's heart pounded as she ran, her feet pounding against the rocky ground. She had no idea where she was going, but she knew that she had to keep moving.
Behind her, she could hear the sound of Dr. Viktor's footsteps as he pursued her. She could hear the maniacal laughter, the sound of his labored breathing, and she knew that she had to keep running if she wanted to stay alive.
She could see a forest up ahead, and she knew that it could be her salvation. If she could lose Dr. Viktor in the trees, she might be able to make her escape.
She darted into the woods, ducking behind trees and leaping over roots. She could hear Dr. Viktor's footsteps closing in, and she knew that she was running out of time.
Suddenly, she heard a loud crack and felt a sharp pain in her ankle. She had twisted it badly, and she stumbled and fell to the ground.
She tried to get up, but the pain was too much. She was trapped, with no way out.
She looked up and saw Dr. Viktor looming over her, his eyes gleaming with madness.
"Well, well, well," he said, a cruel smile spreading across his face. "It looks like you've run out of options, my dear. And now, you're mine."
Lena tried to fight back, but she was too weak. Dr. Viktor grabbed her by the arms and dragged her to her feet.
"You're going to help me harness the power of the iceberg's energy," he said, his voice low and menacing. "And there's nothing you can do to stop me."
Lena struggled against his grip, but it was no use. She was trapped, with no way out. Or was she?
She remembered the small knife she had used to cut herself free from the restraints. It was still in her pocket, and she knew that it was her only hope.
With all her strength, she reached into her pocket and drew out the knife. She lunged forward, plunging the blade into Dr. Viktor's side.
He screamed and stumbled back, his hands clutched over the wound. Lena took advantage of the opportunity and ran, limping as fast as she could.
She didn't look back, didn't stop until she was sure that Dr. Viktor wasn't following her anymore. She had to keep moving, had to find help, had to stop him before it was too late.
She limped onward, her heart racing with fear and adrenaline. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew that she had to keep moving forward.
