Lena's ankle throbbed with pain as she stumbled through the forest. She had been running for what felt like hours, and she was exhausted, both physically and emotionally.
She knew that Dr. Viktor would be after her, and that he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. She had to stop him, had to find a way to destroy the iceberg's energy before it was too late.
But how? She didn't have any resources, any allies. She was alone, injured, and afraid.
As she trudged through the woods, Lena began to think. She knew that the only way to stop Dr. Viktor was to destroy the iceberg's energy, but how could she do that?
Then it hit her. She remembered reading about a group of scientists who had developed a way to disrupt energy waves using a specific type of crystal. If she could find one of those crystals, she might be able to disrupt the energy waves coming from the iceberg and stop Dr. Viktor's plan.
But where could she find one of those crystals? She didn't have any idea, but she knew that she had to try. She had to do something to stop Dr. Viktor.
Lena decided to head to the nearest town to see if she could find any information. She walked for hours, her ankle throbbing with each step, until she finally came upon a small village.
She went from shop to shop, asking if anyone had heard of the crystal that she needed. Most people shook their heads or looked at her like she was crazy, but one old woman took pity on her.
"I might know someone who can help you," the woman said, her voice low and conspiratorial. "But you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone I told you about him."
Lena nodded eagerly, desperate for any help she could get.
The woman gave her a slip of paper with an address on it. "Go to this address," she said. "Ask for Michael. He'll know what to do."
Lena thanked the woman and set off to find Michael. She limped down the street, looking for the address, until she finally found it.
She knocked on the door, her heart racing with nervousness. After a moment, a man opened the door. He was tall, with shaggy brown hair and piercing blue eyes.
"Can I help you?" he asked, his voice cautious.
Lena explained her situation, telling Michael everything she knew about Dr. Viktor and the iceberg's energy. Michael listened intently, nodding along as she spoke.
"I might be able to help you," he said finally. "But we're going to need a plan."
