Ding!
"Congratulations, host, on completing the main mission of staying in the village for a month."
To say that he was surprised would not be the truth; he had just seen the status window a few minutes ago and had noticed the mission, and he was sure any time soon he would get the notification.
Ram scanned Hanu's and Prakhar's tent with his perception and saw they were still deep asleep. He then came back to his own tent, and after double checking again that they were both still in the tent, he said
"System, extract the reward."
Ding!
"Host, the reward for the main mission is a lucky draw. withdrawing the reward."
Soon the environment changed, and Ram found himself alone in an illusory empty room. He looked all around in confusion when a huge wheel on the wall opposite him appeared. It looked like a huge circular clock with the numbers 1 to 84 written on it. There was only one hour-hand type of thing that was stopped on number 84.
He observed his surroundings for some time, and after seeing that there was no one else beside him in this room, he used the Supreme Truth Eye.
Name: System Luck Draw Room
Status: Active
It is a room where the system gives entry to the host, where he or she could use the lucky draw clock to extract the reward. This is not an actual room but an illusion created by the system for the convenience of the host. The host can only enter this room when permitted by the system.
Ram saw the information and nodded in understanding, then looked towards the Lucky Draw Clock.
Name: Lucky Draw Clock
Status: Active
It's a clock available since the beginning of time. No one knows its origin or when and where it appeared. Once in history, this clock entered the Rudra world and created havoc among its citizens due to their greed and desire. Now this clock is only a myth. This clock was sometime in the past retrieved by the supreme law and kept in the system because of the destruction that had happened because of it. Numbers 1 to 84 describe the time this world was destroyed and recreated.
Ram saw the information on the clock and didn't know what to say. The information about the clock was too heavy to process immediately, but he was sure about one thing: no one should ever know that he knows about its whereabouts and that he has the clock available to him.
"System, How do I use this lucky draw clock?"
"Host, you can just look directly at the clock and envelop it with your prana, and then you just have to say it to start and stop; rest, everything will be done by itself. Host, do note that if you say start and do not say it to stop, it would still stop after a minute, and the host has to accept the outcome."
"Okay."
Ram then went towards the clock and used his prana to envelop it, and then, as instructed, he looked towards the clock and said
"I do not wish for anything too great, but give me something that I need not desire."
"Start"
The hour hand started to rotate clockwise, and slowly the speed increased, and after some seconds the speed was so fast that Ram couldn't even see the hour hand.
"Stop"
Tick.
Tick.
Tick.
The hour hand decreased its speed, and then the hour hand reached number 15 and stopped.
Ram noticed that the hour hand had reached number 15.and this number faded, though it was still visible but not as prominent as it was before.
Ding!
"Congratulation host."
Then out of the clock's number 15, something flew out and came towards him. Out of reflex, he caught it and observed it on his hand.
"hmm"
"This is new."
"Let's see what it can do."
Ram said it, but the new comment was actually sarcastic because the product he had received was an antique looking very old, rustic, circular, and brown in colour. With something written on it.
Ram observed it closely, and he was confused now. He had obtained the Language Scroll from the system earlier, so according to it, he should be able to use any or all languages of the Rudra world, but he was not able to.
"System, why am I not able to understand this language in detail?"
"Host, this language is not used in the Rudra world, so this language is unknown to the system."
Ram nodded and said nothing.
Actually, he understood the language; though he was not an expert, he knew that the language written on this item was definitely 'Sanskrit.' He had a basic understanding of the language, as Sanskrit was considered the mother of all languages on earth. Even the computer programming and AI languages used were understood and made from Sanskrit. The most common language used on Earth, which is English, has way too many words of Sanskrit, like juggernaut, karma, zen, "asura, "rakshasa, and "samadhi, and if done proper research, he was sure there were more than hundreds of words.
He, like many northern Indians, had taken up this language during his school days, so he understood it to some extent, but he was surprised to know that the language scroll of the Rudra world was clueless. Then how did this item with Sanskrit reach this world?
'This world is way too mysterious.' Ram said it in his mind.
Then he observed the item with the Supreme Truth's eyes.
Name: Fate Compass
Status: Inactive
This is one of the very few items whose origin is unknown. When this world was destroyed for the 15th time and was being recreated for the 16th time, this item from the void came and entered the Rudra World. This item has never been used before in this world, so what it can be used for is not known. But one thing is sure: it is a compass.
"Like I can't tell it's a compass."
"Even the name says 'compass'."
Ram said it out loud, as if mocking the system for writing this in the description.
