Chapter 55 - Trade with Supreme Will

"Like I can't tell it's a compass."

"Even the name says 'compass'."

Ram said it out loud, as if mocking the system for writing this in the description.

He shook his head in mockery but was still thankful to the system. He then looked closely at the fate compass and used his prana to envelop it, but to his surprise, the compass didn't become active. He then observed the written words in Sanskrit and read them aloud.

"Nischala Tattve Jeevanmukti," which translates to "One who is unwavering in his intention, liberation cannot be denied,"

whoosh…

There was a golden light that came out of the fate compass and entered his eyebrows, and the fate compass vanished from his hands.

"What did just happen? I only read what was written. Where is the compass?"

"System, have you taken it back?"

"Host, do not panic; the compass has activated and entered your body; observe it carefully in yourself."

Ram calmed down, used his perception inside his body, and immediately found the compass floating beside his soul.

Then he used his perception of the fate compass while thinking about how to bring it out.

Whoosh…

Immediately, the compass exited his body and came into his hand.

"Hmm, this is interesting."

He then used the supreme truth's eyes on the compass again.

Name: Fate Compass

Status: Active

Owner: Ram

The fate compass is a compass that shows the direction the host has to move in to reach his destination. This compass will always show the way forward.

As expected, the status had changed, but what made him a little disappointed was that it was just a compass showing him the direction. He felt it was mostly like a GPS for him.

I am sure it being too mysterious will definitely have some deeper meaning and use than just being a GPS.

Ding!

"Host congratulations on being able to activate the product, which never had any owner. The supreme will has taken interest in the language you just read."

"Thank you to you and your supreme will."

Ram exited the Lucky Draw room and entered his tent again.

Ding!

"Host, Supreme Will wants to make a trade with you."

Ram knew this was coming, so he didn't get too excited and asked

"What is the term for the trade?"

"Host, supreme will wants you to help it decode some statements of this language sometime in the future."

"Doesn't the supreme will require the full understanding of the language?"

"Host, the supreme will knows that you won't disclose your full knowledge of this language, so it wants you to help it whenever it is stuck with it."

Ram smiled softly after listening to the system. Supreme Will was right; he wouldn't trade with full knowledge of the language. The reason was very simple: if this language was so easy to decode, Wouldn't it have been done way before, maybe around the 16th time when this world was created? Yet here they were. So he felt he had the upper hand here, and who knows, it might help him sometime later. So he didn't want to give full knowledge of this language to anyone.

"So, what do I get in exchange for assisting in the decoding of certain statements in this language?"

"Host, if you are interested, you will get an instant reward for just accepting the trade, and when you actually help the supreme will with the decoding work, there will be a reward given for the work at that time as well."

"Just to confirm, it's like a signing-up bonus that I will get now and again when I do the work."

"Yes host. Are you interested?"

"Systems, The knowledge should always be shared; I am definitely interested."

System: "…"

Ding!

"Congratulations, host, you have successfully traded with supreme will. You have received the death immunity scroll."

Out of a small space, a red and black-coloured, ancient-looking scroll came out.

Ram caught it in his hand and observed it closely.

Name: Death Immunity Scroll

Type: Divine

It's a one-time-use item. A person who has a death immunity scroll is exempted from death once. The user just has to envelop the scroll with his prana and make it his own.

"Now this is called an item; any item given by the supreme will has to be the best of the best."

He said this while feeling like he could just go and slap a demon on his face just to make him see that he was immune to death.

"Host this item is for one-time use."

"I know, I know, can't I dream some fantasy sometime?"

Ram replied while being fully aware of the fact that even if the scroll permitted him permanent death immunity, he still wouldn't do anything as stupid as what he was dreaming of. He was sure if they couldn't kill him, they could just capture and torture him for eternity.

Ram then looked at the scroll closely and saw that it had some kind of pranic energy that he was not familiar with. He tried asking the system, but it replied with silence. He took a little leap of faith and used his prana to envelop it, and soon the death scroll entered his body, and he saw the scroll floating beside the fate compass near the soul.

He then exited the tent and, from his perception, saw Hanu and Prakhar still sleeping in their respective tents, so he took wood and utensils out of the storage ring and prepared a basic tea and poha for breakfast and, after some time, woke up both of them.

After they enjoyed their breakfast, all three of them packed their respective tents and items, along with the barrier stone, and then they moved outward towards the wood village.

Though all the lucky draws and trades with the supreme will looked like they took too much time, in reality hardly an hour had passed since he had exited the secret world and got the fate compass and death immunity scroll, made breakfast, and left for the wood village. It was still very early in the morning.

…..

"So, where is this wood village exactly?" Ram enquired

"You will be surprised," replied Prakhar with a smile.

Then all three of them started to walk straight ahead until they reached an old tree, which seemed as ancient as this world.
