There was a sound, and a white, blurred figure jumped from behind the bush. and started to run away from Ram.
"Oh, it's just a rabbit."
"But why does this rabbit look a little odd with three eyes and a longer tail?"
"Maybe it's just a mutation or some cross-breeding."
Then the rabbit jumped towards the other bush, but then something happened. A snake that was camouflaged with the bush actually directly swallowed the rabbit and started to move further away from Ram, but before it could go any further, a bird that resembled like a brown eagle jumped from a nearby tree and caught hold of the snake between its talons and flew towards the sky.
Ram just saw this whole process and couldn't help but start sweating nonstop. He had thought that this forest was silent and that there were not many animals, but he just saw a food chain happening in front of him.
"Thank you, God, at least they didn't attack me."
"I am not sure if I can win a fight with a rabbit, let alone a snake or an eagle."
Before Ram could relax any further, he had a strong feeling that he was being observed. He carefully checked all his surroundings but couldn't find anything, so he started to walk, but he heard a little movement from above. Ram turned and saw something above him.
There was a huge snake, like an anaconda, sitting on the tree and observing Ram as if looking at a mouse.
Ram, at this moment, couldn't help but curse silently on his luck.
He stared at the snake with the tree branch as a spear in front of him and silently took a step back.
First step…
Second step…
Third step…
Ram then turned and ran at full speed without looking back.
He could hear some movements happening behind him. but he didn't turn around; he just kept running nonstop. He ran until he was out of breath, and when he felt he couldn't run anymore, he heard the movement just behind him. He ran again without caring, saw a river just ahead, and directly jumped into it.
If Ram had actually turned back at any time during his run and seen the snake's movement, he might not have jumped into the river. Actually, the snake on the tree never left the tree. It was still lying on the tree and had an amusing look in its eyes. It was actually making sounds by throwing branches and small stones behind Ram and seeing the amusement of a small being running. Maybe it was just entertainment for him.
If Ram knew about this, he might still choose to run and jump. Who knows if the snake was really having fun or could jump down and swallow him whole?
After some time, Ram crossed the river, saw the opposite forest, and couldn't help smiling.
"It's not easy to eat me; I was not in the mood to fight; otherwise, you wouldn't have seen the sun set today."
"I was looking to cross this river for a long time."
Ram kept on saying this out loud, not too loudly, while looking towards the dense forest opposite him.
"Count yourself lucky."
Ram smirked and smiled as if he had really beaten the snake to death.
but then immediately there was a sound from the forest where the snake was. Ram turned and ran.
"I was joking; don't take things too personally."
