The world already flourished, was what everyone thought, who would want to accept the death of tens a day? It may not seem like much. It was, however, the death of the people you had conquered the horrible four years. I couldn't fix it and others wouldn't accept it. I was willing to accept that I was useless, but it was then, when I unlocked it, the superpowers everyone talked about. What. Wait. This is my diary. My long-lost diary from 9 years ago. But how? I'm back. I'm really back.
"Ketsueki. Are you in there?" Lewis said.
My heart melted in joy. He was back, my dear best friend.
"Yeah. Come in." I answered.
Creak. I sprinted and hugged my previously comatosed friend.
"What the. What are you doing?" he said.
"Sorry. I just hadn't seen you in a long time." I said apologetically.
"Fine. Don't do it again." Lewis said.
"Have you eaten yet? We have to go to see if we have awakened today. Remember. You don't do you. You're always like this. I'll cook some food. You go change." Lewis said
"Yeah, Yeah. Better not order something this time. Those foods are bad for your health so yeah. I'll go get ready then."
I'm back now, but what do I do?
A digital-looking red screen suddenly appeared in front of me. Saying Demonic System
"What. Isn't this the awakening system that I had in my previous life? Why is it red? And I get mine a year later. So how? Is this the demonic king's doing?" I questioned myself.
Wrong. This is the original System which was an artefact developed by the 1st demonic king Sathanas I and is controlled by his soul. This magical item was eventually sold due to the betrayal of a demon that changed to an angel.
"What are you and what are the differences between this one and the copied one," I replied in surprise of the system.
The copied version is weaker. The copied ones contain weak angel spirits since angels could never figure a way to capture a being parallel to the God of gods or demonic king
"Is he my enemy? The God of gods." I questioned the seemingly robotic demonic king.
No. Under his rule. All races were in peace. Until the betrayal of the angels, he died. It was one this day that the angels became an evil race and the day you humans faced the sudden appearance of monsters. There was only one known god in the world, the god of gods.
"Why would the angels betray him?" I questioned in shock, but I should have expected as much.
It's obvious isn't it. Greed. The greatest cause of havoc.
Ding ding ding. Seems like the alarm has gone off. I should get ready then. We'll finish this conversation another time.
