Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Examination

2 hours later at the Venator association

"Anyone who doesn't know how the Ventor test works, we will measure everyone's mana, strength, agility, and endurance. Then finally all of you will fight in a E-rank rank dungeon simulation of the Ammonian Jungle, Rated for D-rank Ventors. After this, you will unlock your rank and stats along with your class in the system." said the exam administrator.

"Let the exam begin." Said the administrator

"1st up, Lewis." the administrator shouted.

Good Luck Lewis!

You may now punch the measuring crystal.

Boom. Strength is 32. Currently C Rank.

Now run to the mana crystal.

Swish. Time: 2.78 seconds. Currently, D Rank

Then put your hand on the mana crystal. Mana measured. 12. Currently, C Rank.

"Now we will measure your endurance, all harm you receive is your fault. It's your fault so there is no use in trying to get payment due to being hurt." said the exam administrator

"Yes Sir, I have already read the contract for the test." Kofuku replied

"Then let's get going, let's start the endurance test." The examiner said The pressure exerted was at the level of a B rank.

Everyone in the room stood in silence, as moving hurt like hell. It felt as if needles poked your bones. Even I couldn't move. It hurt, the feeling of all my hardwork going away but it was all I could do unless I would rather let every human on Earth die. I would rather save the world than be hated by everyone in heaven.

The pressure disappeared just as quickly as it appeared. Your endurance is 22. Currently, D Rank. You will receive your class after opening the system and the constitution stat should also show. Then these tests happened again, and again until it was my turn.

"Lastly, Ketsueki Heiwa," said the instructor. "You know what to do, get on with it already."

Crack. Strength 47. C Rank. "What!" Everyone from the viewers to the instructor were astonished. It was silence, it was a minute of dead silence of both excitement for the future of Korea but also the realisation that they couldn't surpass me or someone with such great talent. In my last life the highest I had gotten was 25 for the mama. It was a moment of surprise to me, but it had shown the boost that the demons gave, and just how different this life would be. Compared to my last.

"Sorry, you can continue, now. Run to the Mana Crystal." said the instructor breaking the silence

Time, 1.00 second. Currently, B rank.

Now put your hand on the mana crystal.

Mana Measured, 37. Currently, C Rank.

The pressure exerted at S Rank. Everyone had known that the pressure would be higher but no one in the room had known the difference between an A rank or an S rank.

Endurance 13. Currently, C Rank.

"You have great potential but you better improve your endurance by levelling up, unless you want to die by the swing of a wooden sword." Said the instructor.

"You already know what will happen, so I shall conclude today's test."

"This should have been a great experience for all of you present at this year's evaluation test, remember that today was only the first test and the NAs that failed today, are not allowed to be tested again."

"To those who passed, remember to be ready for tomorrow's practical real-world test. Other than that, all of you can leave to prepare yourself for tomorrow's test." Said the instructor.

"Ketsueki, we should get going, most of the others have already left," said Lewis

"Yeah, coming," I answered. I knew that I had good stats but my defence was still the same, rock bottom. I had to improve my endurance whether it be by training or items. The instructor was only joking but it still hurt, the feeling of being at rock bottom when I am at the top. It was the same feeling when I was in 1st place on the TOP before the advent of superpowers. I was at the highest place yet I got no rewards. I thought this time it would be different but it's still the same. I will get stronger and this time I will be unhinged.

"Since we're leaving, I want to go get some food before we leave."

"Sure. Anyways, what class did you get? Did you get a legendary class?" I said smirkly.

"You know it wouldn't be that! Though I haven't checked." He said angrily

"Fine, fine, what is it then?"

"What the heck. I got a legendary class, Infamous dark tanker ."

"Told you so. You should trust me next time."

"Shut up. I'd rather trust a rat than you." Lewis said angrily.

"Well, I bet you probably also got a legendary class too, you trained so hard for the evaluation." Said Lewis while expecting me to fail.

"I'll check mine now then, I didn't get the time, being last and all that." I

"Status," I said quietly.
