If course she was unwilling and resisted, but they were stronger. Upon seeing that, all the other maid servants immediately knelt down and apologized to Zhi Meng Yao with their heads on the ground. They were cowards. They could hear the other one yelling for help and knew that they would soon be the next, they just did not expect her to change that much.
Turning to face Chow Yi Nuo, Zhi Meng Yao thanked her for saving her. "Don't worry, with me here, none of these flies can get in your way, I'll just slaughter them all." Upon hearing the word slaughter, the faces of the maid servants were filled with fear and it could be easily seen.
"Let's go!" Chow Yi Nuo said as she grasped Zhi Meng Yao's hand and walked away with her. With her, Zhi Meng Yao felt more than safe, no one would dare look down on her again. The others who were left waited until the two disappeared before they ran to Zhong Ah-Lam and informed her of the news. After that, out of anger, Zhong Ah-Lam immediately left for Zhong Kexin's abode after rescuing her maid servant.
Upon hearing that Zhong Ah-Lam was on her way to visit her, Zhong Kexin told her maid servant to prepare some tea and with a teacup, serve it to the arriving guest. The two waited for them patiently as they sat under the gazebo. Seeing Zhi Meng Yao's sweating hands, Chow Yi Nuo stated so as to calm her down, "Don't worry, I've got this." She was sure that the vibrant smile she gave afterwards calmed her down and made her see that everything was alright.
Upon arriving, Zhong Ah-Lam barged in without even asking for permission, upon seeing her, the guards fell to their knees to welcome her, after all, she was a respected person in the family, unlike her worthless sister who only liked to cause trouble for other people who were out of her league.
"Zhong Kexin!" Zhong Ah-Lam shouted as she entered the compound.
"Third elder sister, what brings you here?" Zhong Kexin stated as she glanced at the maid servant next to her, she was freezing to the death. If it was the winter season, Chow Yi Nuo was a hundred percent sure that she would die immediately.
"Oh? Don't pretend!" Zhong Ah-Lam said as she entered the gazebo and sat down next to Chow Yi Nuo who was busy sipping tea. Before she could react, Zhi Meng Yao served her tea before she stood next to Zhong Kexin.
"Wow! Third elder sister, what happened to your maid servant? She is as wet as a seal." Zhong Kexin stated as she glanced at the maid servant who was shivering. Her abode was located in one of the coldest areas in the whole compound.
While smiling as she glanced at the steaming tea, Zhong Ah-Lam replied, "I also don't know, that's why I'm here to ask you that."
Upon hearing that, Zhong Kexin placed her teacup on the table as she smiled vibrantly before she laughed and turned to Zhi Meng Yao. "Yaoyao, I'm really a magician, even the third lady seeks an answer from me, am I a soothsayer?" Hearing that,Zhi Meng Yao nodded her head bodly and replied, "Of course miss, they know that they can only rely on your knowledge in this Mansion." Upon hearing that, Zhong Ah-Lam was shocked. Even a worthless maid servant like Zhi Meng Yao dared to talk back to her master's stupidity, who couldn't then?
"Sister, don't waste my time, kneel down and apologize to her right now!" Zhong Ah-Lam ordered as she glanced fiercely at Zhong Kexin who only smiled slightly before her face turned serious.
"What if I don't?" Zhong Kexin asked.
"Really? Even a worthless failure like you dares to disobey me?" Hearing that, one of the four guards came closer to Zhong Ah-Lam and asked.
"Miss, do we force her?" He asked as he glanced at Zhong Kexin who was busy sipping tea.
