Walking down the hallway, Chow Yi Nuo felt that she needed to get revenge and get back her post in the family, it seemed that even the closest ones to her had distanced themselves. Along the way, she could hear the shameless maids talk about her defeat, even they did not respect her, but soon, no one in that whole Mansion would dare bully her, she would show them her true self.
"Zhi Meng Yao," Chow Yi Nuo called out Zhi Meng Yao's full name capturing her attention." Does Young Miss have any friends?" Chow Yi Nuo asked. She was curious why nobody had come to her defense. Upon hearing that question, Zhi Meng Yao could only shake her head in negation. She had been secluded that nobody had made friends with her. Holding confidently the annulment letter in her hands, Chow Yi Nuo knew that nobody would stop those lovey dovies from getting together. She just had to wait until the right moment where she would expose him to the whole world and tell them of how shameless Zhong Guiying really is,having an affair with the prince, people would think that she was the real cause of the annulment, and that was what Zhong Kexin just wanted, to trap the rat in the hole. The weather outside was neither too hot or too cold, just right. A slight breeze could be felt sweeping across the air. The fragrance of full bloomed flowers filled the air. It was a pity that Zhong Kexin would not be able to see them so easily. Her useless father had grounded her for three months, but Chow Yi Nuo knew that those three months were what she needed to change herself. Her remedies would at least take one month but to loose absolute weight needed at least three months. That fool did not know that he was actually granting her her wish. Seeing Zhong Kexin go while smiling like an absolute idiot made Zhi Meng Yao wonder if she had been traumatized by the annulment.
"Zhi Meng Yao, bring me some potatoes from the kitchen, okay, at least ten." Chow Yi Nuo stated, she had been very hungry and needed to eat, also, she needed to start on her work, but on her way there after Zhi Meng Yao bowed slightly and left, she found a group of maid servants standing together gossiping her, upon seeing her, one of them was startled and said.
"She's here," as she moved away.
The other one next to her who seemed confident replied, "Why do we care? What can she do? Here she is treated worse than us." Hearing that goat talk made Chow Yi Nuo remember something, she was grounded, so even if she hit that goat and slaughtered it, there would be no other punishment, and also, she needed a chance for her comeback.
"Silly maid," Chow Yi Nuo stated as she approached her. "Of course I can do nothing about that, but why must you make it seem as if I'm crippled. Even if I'm treated worse than a dog! At least I'm a respected dog, what about you? A stupid goat being led silently to the slaughter house!"
