"Anyways Miss, I've already prepared your bath and clothes." Zhi Meng Yao said as one of her hand pointed in the direction of the table where there was a wooden tray with a pink Han Fu dress on it. There were also a pair of pink earrings with cherry blossoms petals hanging from their hooks and a pair of pink shoes.
Zhi Meng Yao led Chow Yi Nuo to a separate room with a bathtub. It had been filled with red petals floating hazily on the water's surface, she could smell the rose scented soap in the water. The water was smelling of roses - just so sweet. Zhi Meng Yao went to a smaller room and helped Chow Yi Nuo strip. But because Chow Yi Nuo was shy, she asked her to only help her with her overcoat.
After undressing, Chow Yi Nuo proceeded to take her morning bath, and soon her whole body was immersed in the warm water. After playing with the water, Chow Yi Nuo finally bathed and afterwards put on her pink Han Fu dress then left the room for her bed chamber.
With the help of Zhi Meng Yao, Chow Yi Nuo combed her hair and let it flow freely on her back after securing half of it with a jade hairpin with a flower head in a round bun on her head. She then put on her earrings and left the room together with Zhi Meng Yao trailing behind her - as usual.
The three of them: Zhi Meng Yao, Chow Yi Nuo and Madam Liu crossed the courtyard while Zhi Meng Yao and Chow Yi Nuo talked happily about their previous night while walking closely behind Madam Liu. Madam Liu felt exhausted of hearing the cheerful noises early in the morning but could not dare talk since Zhong Kexin knew her secret, she did not want to endanger her life and her family's existence. Like the other abode that Chow Yi Nuo had slept in, the next two abodes that they walked past were built of heavy cedar slabs, had similar wooden shutters for windows and were roofed with red clay tiles. Chicken clucked and scratched in the cool shade underneath. Clusters of bushes of wild flowers scattered throughout the compound. The climbers gre around the beams that supported the gates of the abodes and climbed on the walls of the gates making the walls look cool and comfortable.
The two followed Madam Liu until they reached Zhong Guiying's abode. The doors were jeweled and fancy, it looked so exquisite and expensive. Madam Liu knocked gently on the door before opening the giant mahogany doors and letting the two in. Once inside, Chow Yi Nuo saw that there were fancy couches with colorful pillows strewn around the room, bookshelves lining the walls, and rugs and furniture all about the place. The room seemed very different from Zhong Kexin's abode. Making their way through the door, Madam Liu paused at the entrance of another room, which seemed to be Zhong Guiying's personal dining area.
