There was no practical alternative than to eventually conform to the decision, even though it was an hazardous one. They all silently emerged into the throne room and a sly smile made the corner of her lips curve up, as a mischievous glint made her green eyes spark.
"Are you all prepared for the journey?" The mage queen queried as she peered her eyes at them.
"We're ready." Weng replied with a clipped tone and she nodded her head in satisfaction with his response.
"Go on then." She said as she gestured for them with a wave of her hand to proceed into the portal.
"But firstly, one of us shall stay behind. It's for caution in case something occurs out of hand." Weng implied.
"Of course." The mage shaman said nonchalantly.
"Lei shall stay behind." Weng instructed.
"And miss out on all the fun? Hell no!" Lei snapped instantly with a hard tone.
