"H-Huh…?!"
The two boys felt her talking behind them, but they didn't even see her move behind them. No flash of light could be seen. It was like she instantly teleported.
But going out without a fight was something they were not willing to do, so with all their might they tried to turn their heads around to face the girl but… none of their bodies could move, it was almost like a boulder was on top of them.
Tapping the boys on the shoulder, Tenka put one-hundredth percent of her mana into her hand, forcing the two boys to kneel in front of Shito.
"Wow, it's really easy to get you two to fall to your knees. If you are strong enough, get up and make something happen. We are getting bored of this fight, and you haven't even used any of the other elements you have."
Gritting their teeth, the two boys forced themselves through the pressure and looked at Tenka. Rage was feeling their minds because of the humiliation they received from two first-year students.
Flames started to surround the two boys, and wind gusts started to blow, causing the wind and flames to combine and make a fire tornado. They were upset, and the flames were burning brightly, representing the anger they were feeling deep inside.
"Get…your… hands …off… of… us!" the two boys uttered angrily, "Who do you think you are to embarrass us like this… we are going to return this humiliation tenfold."
They were in a complete state of rage, but they still had their consciousness so they knew full well what they would do in this fight. Nothing really could stop them, even though there was a no-killing rule. Nothing in the rule said they couldn't beat their opponents half to death.
Lightning started to roar, and everyone looked up at the heavens and saw cumulonimbus clouds covering the heavens. Everything darkened, and slighting roared louder than that of a dragon.
"Hmm. It seems like they are preparing for a big attack. Should we go ahead and finish this battle, or should we let them get their big attacks out and finish it after…?"
Tenka had already appeared directly beside Shito, and she heard everything he just said. She was lost in thought, thinking about whether they should let them or not. Even though neither of them could damage the two of them, she didn't want them to get too cocky with their strength. However, it was already too late for that.
Tenka let out a deep sigh, looking over at Shito, who was standing there waiting for an answer for her, "We can go ahead and wait to see what they are going to do. I already know that this is something that you wanted to do so… we might as well go on ahead and get this over with." Her words were gentle. She was smiling at the person who was standing beside her.
After saying her words, she looked back at the heavens, trying to see how long they would keep channeling the big magic spell they were planning to use.
Flames from the two boys' bodies shot around the arena, and gusts of wind started to multiply and form tornadoes all around the arena. The tornados were strong enough to rip buildings apart.
"Looks like they are trying to stop off from coming near them. Even though we haven't moved from this spot, since they know how fast you are, they are trying to create barriers to stop you from closing in on them."
After saying those words, Shito slightly lifted his arms, and behind him, portals, the color of darkness started to become visible. There was not one portal. There were countless portals that were behind him, and objects started to poke out of them.
"...Are those… weapons…?!" Everyone in the audience shouted. They had seen lots of surprises today, and they didn't know what to say about the portal full of spears and swords.
Determining his target, Shito looked at all the Tornados, and the swords were released from the portals. He made sure to avoid the two people. After all, he wanted to see what kind of attack they were going to use with the lighting that scattered through the entire heavens. The whole sky was engulfed in pure blue lighting.
All the flames and tornados disappeared from the area, and Shito looked at the girl beside him, Tenka Vermillion, who was patiently waiting for the two boys to finish channeling mana.
"It's finished!" the two boys shouted in unison. It took them five minutes, and they finally channeled and condensed the mana. "Quado dragon."
With those words, the lighting that was covering the area formed six lighting dragons that flew through the skies. Roars could be heard from the lighting dragons. The two of them were combining their mana together, creating one big spell they could attack .
Before the spell was even released, lightning sparks descended from the sky, causing mini-craters to appear all around the arena.
And then, in an instant, drops of rain started to descend from the sky, but with the drops of rain falling, the six huge dragons came descending from the sky a second later. The spell they were using was strong enough to destroy half of the city, and all the mages could use that kind of spell, even the one that still hadn't graduated, after all, that was one of the first spells a mage ever learned once they begin their time at the academy.
The lighting dragons were going at speeds, reaching speeds equal to that of light-speed attacks.
Shito looked as if the dragons descended from the heavens and sighed in disappointment. He waited a long time for a spell that was so generic and bland that he was frankly at a loss for words. Even though he wasn't expecting the spell to be strong, he still wanted the spell to be interesting or cool. But he seemed to have got his hopes up for nothing.
The most basic spell… One could see, this is a spell that all mages learn, and I thought they were going to use some unique type of abilities… but I guess I was wrong… well, it's time for me to end this pointless battle—there is no need for me to continue to play around with these two.
Those were his thoughts as he lifted his hands toward the heavens. The lighting dragons already struck the ground and were rechanneling in the air. Quado Dragon was a spell that kept using the mana from the user until it ran out, so if a person had infinite mana, they could keep casting the spell forever, and dragons would always respawn.
"Disappear."
With those words alone, all the dragons disappeared, along with cumulonimbus clouds. He lifted his hands in the air to avoid lots of questions. Because he couldn't let anyone know that with any word he spoke, it would become a reality like if he told someone to die, they would die. All of that is capable of the ability he was using. The omnipotent domain was the ability he was using. The time when Illya was using it, she wasn't nearly using it to its full potential. Anything that dies by in his skill, the omnipotent domain is instantly reduced to nothingness.
A rainbow could be seen, stretching across the heavens, making the sky one of the most beautiful things to be ever seen. The sky was clear blue, and the clouds were solid white.
Tenka noticed that there was no need for her to continue to extend the battle, so she stuck her hand out, looking at the two boys. "Wind Gust."
As soon as the spell came out of her mouth, a heavy wind gust blew around the arena, knocking off both of their opponents in an instant. Not much resistance was put up because their greatest spell was broken, and they had no way to fight against the two of them anymore. So why would they want to stay if they knew they were going to lose?
It was easy for them to figure out that all of those 'not giving up' methods would not work in front of Team Phoenix. To put it simply, they knew that if they kept going, then their feelings of pride would be crushed completely. And they would instead leave with their pride intact.
Hitting the ground on the outside of the arena, the two boys passed out, they were already exhausted, but they could still fight if they wanted to but since they had the opportunity to lay down, they did so. After all, the medics from the infirmary room would come to get them eventually.
Shibai suddenly appeared on the stage and looked at the contests that were still standing in the arena.
"Team Phoenix has one this match!" he shouted through his mic loudly. He looked at the students outside of the arena and opened his mouth once more, "Can someone please come to get these two students out of the arena, so we can get our next battle started."
Shito and Tenka looked at the announcer before they started walking off the stage. They had already won their battle, so there was no need for them to stick around. But as they were walking off the stage, the medics rushed past them in a hurry to get to the student who was lying on the ground.
"Do you think that Lucia and Lilith watched our battle? I know they didn't make it by the time we got one stage."
Shito looked at Tenka before looking around the arena, "Yes, they watched the battle… but we can talk about that another time. Let's hurry up and get our daughters."
"...Ok."
The two didn't even head back to the audience stands because they were going to the top room where their sister and the top mages sat and watched their battles. After all, that was the place where his daughters were sitting.
