In a big mansion that looked like it had been built for a long time. Some maids could be seen arranging a room, placing flowers and decorations in different parts of the room.
The housekeeper quickly entered the room and asked the man who was setting up a camera in the room. "Are you ready?"
Yes. As soon as he replied, the door opened, and a woman and a man dressed in beautiful clothes and crowns entered. They sat on a long chair, looking so elegant and beautiful, until the woman, Rosabelle, screamed. "Where are you, children?!"Â
As soon as she said those words, two young ladies entered the room. They were twins, but not identical. One of them sat with their mother, while the other stood behind the chair.
Soon after, a guy also entered and walked into the room majestically. He also took his position and stood behind the chair, but he made sure his body didn't touch the girl beside him. "It looks like your daughter is not even here." Ethan scoffed, looking at the woman.Â
They both stared at themselves before she screamed again. "Marina! Where the heck is that? Knowing that she was about to curse, her husband held her hand and looked into her eyes. She also composed herself. "Can someone get me that girl?"
"I'm here, mother." They all looked at the door where the voice came from. A girl with a loving face and deep hazel eyes that captivates anyone who meets them. Her brown hair gracefully falls onto her shoulder. From her beautiful full lips to the light freckles. All giving her a harmonious mix of unique and captivating features, making her irresistibly attractive.
"Get in your position." Their father, Albert, commanded, and the girl, Marina, also walked towards them and stood behind the chair, beside the guy.
"I'll cut off your throat if any part of your body touches me." Ethan whispered, with his face straight ahead. Marina turned toward him and smirked. "I thought you were not interested in taking this picture." Finally, Ethan looked at her with anger. "Keep your mouth shut." They were still sending daggers to each other when they heard the photographer say, "Please look at the camera and shine your best smile."
They looked back at the camera, but instead of the photographer taking the picture, he made another request. "Can the both of you at the back move closer and smile?" It was only the two of them who were so apart and staring at the camera with a frown.
"You sure do like to make a lot of requests, don't you? I guess it's because your tongue is still working perfectly," Ethan said with no emotion. The man quickly covered his mouth and took the picture. As soon as they heard the shutter sound, they all dispersed from their positions. Finally! The woman said with a smile before sighting the girl who was about to escape again.
She quickly walked towards her and held her by the ear. "Where have you been all morning, Marina?!"
"Mother, I'm right here. You don't have to scream into my ear."
"Can you hear her?" She said this, turning to her husband. "Just leave her alone. We have a lot of things to do today." They both left, leaving the four of them alone with some other maids in the room.
"I don't see the reason why both of you fight every time," Ashley said, looking at Ethan and Marina. "I'm sure they've both ruined the picture with their fight." Alice also added. They are both identical twins with slight differences. Ashley has a broad face and is more outspoken and stubborn, while Alice has a small baby face and is gentle but naughty sometimes.
"Are you talking to me? Have you lost it?!" He screamed at them, looking at them as they quickly hid behind their elder sister, Marina.Â
"The three of you should be happy you're part of this family. If not, I would have made you regret being born." Ethan said before leaving the room. They are all siblings of their mother and father, but Ethan was different because he had a different mother. He was at a young age when his mother died, and his father had to remarry. Since then, hatred for him has started.
"Why is he always angry?" Alice asked, still looking at the closed door.
"He's just jealous," Ashley replied before turning to Marina. "What about you? Where have you been since morning?"
"Nowhere," Marina replied before walking to sit on the couch. "You're lying again. Where did you go?"
"Get out before I set you on fire." Marina said it sternly. The twins also looked at her before running out of the room. There was nothing they could do. After all, each person's power is stronger with the way they're older in the family.
She rested her back with her eyes closed until she heard a voice. "Your mother looked for you around the whole house this morning."
Without opening her eyes, she smiled. "She never gets tired." She already knew who it was—her only friend ever since she was little, Mrs. Maria.
"Will you still go out tonight?" Mrs. Maria asked with worry.
She finally opened her eyes to look at the woman. "Of course. There is a festival today, and it will be a lot of fun." She is a witch princess, and she knew it was not acceptable for her to be found among other people in the village, but she doesn't like that kind of life. She hated the idea of always being bound by rules. That's why she goes out every night to get her freedom.
"I don't think you should go, Marina. Your family will be having a party tonight, and you must be there."
"You think I'm going to sit in a boring party instead of having fun outside?" Marina laughed.
"Marina. What if someone recognizes you?" The woman sighed.
Marina finally stood up from the chair and laughed. "I already told you. No one can find out. The spell is stronger than you think." The kind of spell she casts on herself is for anyone who has seen her as a simple girl not to recognize her as a princess. It's always as if they lose their memories of where they've seen the princess, but the woman is always scared.
"Just cover for me. I'll be back before midnight." She winked at the woman before leaving the room. Mrs. Maria also sighed before she continued her cleaning.

He got out of the boat with his bag in his right hand. He stood in a spot, looking at different people walking in different ways as his clothes and hair swept in the direction of the breeze. "Hey!" He looked at where the voice came from and saw a young man walking up towards him. "You're the one, right?" The young man asked, and he was surprised to hear that kind of question.
"I didn't know that was the way to acknowledge people here. I thought I told you my name." The guy said, to which the man also looked dumbfounded before sighing. "I forgot, okay. Just remind me."Â
"Nile. My name is Nile Flynn." He answered, looking at the man with no emotion before continuing. "Your name is Mark, and I remembered it clearly. All this might seem like little things, but it's important given the kind of business we'll be doing together. I hope you will take note so that we can work together." Mark just kept staring at him as he was talking coldly. He wasn't expecting someone as cold as that when they were exchanging conversations."
"Yes. Please, let's go now. I'll show you the others." Mark said quickly, directing him towards a path.
They walked away from the shore and entered the big market in the town. They walked for some time until they got to the front of a small bakery shop. Nile stopped in front of the shop and kept looking at the big board in front of it before following Mark inside.
"We're here." Mark said as he entered the shop with Nile behind him. As soon as he said those words, two men and a lady also came out from a door in the room. "Oh my goodness! I didn't know he'd be so good-looking!" One of the men named David whispered, but Nile heard him clearly.
Mark cleared his throat before smiling. "He is Nile. And Nile. These are David and Richard. And the lady is Rebecca." David was the oldest; he is around his late forties, Richard is in his late thirties, and Rebecca is in her late twenties, almost the same age as Nile and Mark.Â
"Hello." Rebecca said, but Nile did not say anything. He just kept looking at them, making them wonder what was wrong with him. "You four run this bakery?" He asked.
"Yes. But you don't have to worry. No one will suspect anything."
Nile sighed, running his hands into his hair before saying, "I thought you said you had a good job that could get us close to the royal house."
