Chapter 3 - Chapter three

While some were enjoying the party, sipping their wines, and sharing dances on the dance floor, Albert reigns, the king of the greatest witch's kingdom, who was talking with his friends at the party, suddenly dropped his wine cup when a man suddenly came and whispered something into his ears. "I'm sorry. I need to attend to something." He said before leaving his friends alone.

He walked out of the party and walked up the stairs as he asked the man behind him. "Where is he?"

"He's still at the entrance of the door, your highness." The man also replied, as they kept walking until they got to a secluded area where no one was allowed except the guards.

He got to the front of the door and saw the men who were guiding the door, but only one thing caught his attention: the guy kneeling on the floor. He knew he was one of the maids because of the clothes he was putting on.

He smiled as he walked up to him and pulled his chin up. "I thought you would at least have some good powers. But I see no difference between you and those weak humans." He said, shaking his head. "Please spare me." The guy cried, but the king just smiled.

"I won't kill you, nor will I ask you who sent you." He helped the guy, who was shaking with fear, and raised his chin up to look into his eyes.

Suddenly, the king's eyes changed to green, and he started whispering some spells while staring at the man. Not too long after that, the man suddenly started feeling weak, and he suddenly fell to the ground, but as a small bunny.

He took the bunny and gave it to one of the guards. "Put him in a cage until I think of what to do." He said, looking at the door one last time before he walked back to go to his party.

The next morning, Nile woke up very early. He was always the morning type of guy. He left the apartment that Mark got for him. He had planned to get some things in the house, but he thought of going to the bakery first.

On getting to the bakery, he was surprised to see David and Richard in the shop, and they were cleaning the shelves. "What are you doing?" He asked without even greeting.

David and Richard looked in the direction of where the voice came from. "Oh Nile. You're here. Good morning," David said with a smile, before Richard also said, "Why are you standing there? Have a seat."

"A seat? Shouldn't the store be open now?" He asked, wondering why they were still cleaning when it should have been done a long time ago. Just when the men were about to reply, the door opened, and Rebecca and Mike walked in with each of them holding a box of coffee.

"Oh Nile. You're here early." Mike said, smiling at the man, but it was as if it got him even more riled up. "Seriously. Half past ten is early." He asked, but seeing how they were all staring at him, he felt like he was the only one who was weird.

"OK, fine. Let's go discuss the plan." He said, moving to go to the secret room behind the counter, but stopped in his tracks when he heard. "What plan?"

He looked back to see the girl chewing gum, looking as if she didn't know anything. "What do you mean by what plan?" He asked back, but Mike quickly jumped in. "We can't start planning until we find a way to get into the royal house."

"But we already have a way." He said this, looking at them. "The bakery."

"Yes, but we need to look for a way to get into the house to be able to supply bread." Mark said, but he heard a reply that was funny to him. "Why should we look for ways? Can't the royal house order from here?" He asked, only to see the three of them laughing.

"Can't you see the small shop? We need to make good bread, sell it, and be the best bakery to be able to have an opportunity. Rebecca said before walking out of their presence, but not before laughing again.

"So we won't be able to enter the royal house without becoming the best bakery?" He asked, to which the three of them nodded. He sighed as he wondered why he had to meet someone like them who looked like they weren't ready to get freedom for the kingdom.

In a big room. She sat in front of a drawing board. She was in deep thought as she tried to remember his face to draw him. "Ah gosh." She groaned in frustration as she tore off what she had been drawing for an hour. She took another piece of paper and placed it on the board before she started painting another one.

About an hour later, the door of her room opened slightly, and a maid walked in. "You're still on this?"

She looked up at the woman and smiled. "Mrs Maria. You're here. Come see this." She quickly stood up and pulled the woman closer to show her the drawing. "See. Isn't he handsome?" She asked, grinning to herself while also looking at the painting, but Mrs. Maria just stood beside her in confusion.

The only thing she saw was a picture of two eyes and a long nose in between them. The woman kept looking at the drawing until she turned to Marina. "I don't see what you're talking about."

Marina also looked at her. "You don't see those sexy eyes?" She asked before looking back at the drawing with her dreamy eyes.

"I think you need some sleep, Marina." Mrs. Maria said before bending down to pick up the papers she had thrown on the floor, but stood up again when she heard. "I need to see him again. I'll go out tonight."

"You will do no such thing. Have you forgotten that you only go three times a week? Going out tonight will make it four times." The woman said it with worry, but Marina just smiled before walking to her bed. She sat on it and looked at Mrs. Maria. "There's nothing bad in bending the rules just once."

But marina...

"No buts, Mrs. Maria. Just trust me. No one will find out."

"I don't have a good feeling about that guy. If your parents find out, They'll get you married to the prince of the Nightmoor kingdom." Mrs. Maria said, but Marina just heaved a long, deep sigh. "You worry too much. Nothing will happen. I just want to know his name, that's all. And it must be known tonight. If not, I won't be able to sleep again."

Mrs. Maria just shakes her head before leaving the room. She wondered the kind of love spell the man had done to her.
