As they waited, Delvin couldn't help but observe the other participants in the room. Some were young, fresh-faced youths, eager to learn and make their mark in the world of alchemy. Some of them were known faces in his memories, as they belonged to the same group that had done the genesis examination for the hunt expedition with him. All in all, at least fifty people were seated and more were coming one by one.
While Delvin was calm and composed after seeing familiar faces, it wasn't the same for the opposite party. Those youths who had know Delvin earlier, were shocked completely and their faces paled as if they had seen a ghost in broad daylight. They all rubbed their eyes and looked at each other to identify whether they were alone seeing a dream or it was true.
