Chapter 1 - 1.Abandoned

Nala a loving child was the eldest daughter of Gurung family. She had a sister who was 4 year younger than her. They were probably living the best of their life according to people's prospect. But they were just a perfect family to the outside world. Their parents uses to have a fight over every little thing. And worse of all that her father was an animal who used to beat his wife and used swore words against her while he was the perfect husband to the outer side.

The two girls grew up seeing all this. But Mr. Gurung never raise a hand against them. After being tortured and abused by her husband for 13 years Mrs. Gurung decided to runaway from the home. She was having an affair outside and she wasn't to be blamed for. No one would have survived with that social animal for such a longer period than her.

Before leaving she took her daughters to their favourite places and did some shopping for them and hugged them tight before she took them to their bed. She kissed them goodbye when the fell asleep wiping the silent tears.

Next day she was nowhere to be found. The girls kept asking for her. Mr. Gurung found a note where Mrs. Gurung wrote she was going somewhere very far from them and never to search her again.

The girls were devasted about it when they found out. They were too young to know about this all but it made them sad they could never meet their mother again. Their father seem more angrier now and spent lots of time outside the home. Everynight he would come with a new women to his house. The girls were to be pitied for. Everyone felt sorry for their fate.

As an older sister now the responsibility fall under Nala to take care of the family. She was. just in her teens and now she needed to act all grown up. She has to take care of her sister and father as well. She can understand what mom did was to find her happiness but she can never forgive her for leaving them with their miserable dad. She can never forgive her mother for abandoning them. She used to wonder why wasn't it the other way around. It would have been better if dad was the one abandoning them. But she curses herself for thinking so because she loves her dad. Even though he couldn't be the responsible dad she knows he is worried and love them. In the era where people prefer to have son as their child he never cmolained a bit when his wife bore two daughter for him.

Every night Nala woke up from a dream where she sees her mother. This was a sign his much she misses her presence and how much she wanted to hug her. She wanted her mother to return and appologize to them that she left them and then take them with her.
