As time went by the duke made his appearance and had delivered his speech every person that was present in the hall all cheered for the duke and showed their happiness some young women and girls were drooling over the sight of this young duke,people were even teary because of the good job the duke had done so far.
The ruler could have decided to be cruel and selfish but he chose to care for his people and with that the king shed a few words of happiness. "you are all gathered in this hall today to share one's happiness we as king and queen are really proud to announce that the duke has come a long way to help support the needy and help the city and surrounding areas to the best of his abilities and he will carry on to do better. Pleases continue to show your love and support for the duke in his current rule"
With that all the gathered people clapped and cheered, Cara stood from her throne and clapped they all smiled once again and the king turned to pat his son on the shoulder, they enveloped in a strong hug. As king he was really proud of his son since childhood he never pressured his son to do anything, one day he just grew up and requested something and today he was here winning all the peoples love and care. The king stepped back to look at his son they exchanged a smile and the king went and sat down next to his queen.
Gerald then came forward and announced "let the dance commence" the light all dimmed and it turned dark in the hall.
Outside in the castle hallway where Aurora was sitting, swiping her feet from sides to side on the clean shiny floor after having a limited tour of the inside of the castle, was approached by her friends her aunt was still talking to some important acquaintances in the hall and was present during the speech as were the girls.
"Aurora come the dance has started, we can't miss this" Aurora looked up at them "fine but I am not Dancing and you know that" with that they made their way to the ball room.
Not knowing that Aurora had unintentionally caught the attention of someone's thoughts who constantly kept on thinking about her, the duke was occupied with conversing to some of the majors he was talking to them and nodding but his mind was occupied with the thought of what he heard the soft spoken young maiden say.
He had only heard her but She had caught his attention like no other whilst the dance commenced in the dim dark hall he looked around and was going to step forward to sit down when a sudden waft of fragrance hit his nostrils. It was the same smell he had smelt earlier the smell of gypsophila flowers but there was another fragrance surprisingly hitting his senses it was like it was begging him to come nearer, it was a mixed smell of berries, Arabian musk and warm cashmere no he thought even that was and understatement. He suddenly turned his head to the right side where there was thick red curtains, past the double doors leading out onto a balcony that's when he saw a scenery that looked so story like that he could-not believe it was real in the start.
