If I so much as catch a glimpse of you stinky leeches I will cut you into pieces and feed you to the dear witches!"
She left him amused he did not expect that from a lady of little voice and that too a delicate one that can barley even be heard. But she proved him oh so wrong. When she needed to then she did have a voice of one of a kind and the brewing emotion could be heard leaking from miles away.
When he heard this come from her mouth he was shocked. She left him speechless in a good way. The duke had a wide smile plastered on his face. He would love to see her face at this moment but he stopped himself. He was left with such a nagging anticipation he thought that waiting more would not hurt.
So he continued watching as she explored the maze until there was a dead end.
He had noticed how her senses were working on a sort of alert system which would trigger her to slightly turn. But she would continue walking and every time she did slightly turn despite the duke being invisible he would stop and he would smile almost like they were playing a game of hide and seek. He could not deny that other than that begging scent, she did make his heart stop and pound with a seconds beat as if he was truly caught.

Aurora continued to explore the maze in the peaceful solitude. She was enjoying every bit, it was like she was in another dimension. A place of her own quiet and away from the rotating world. She continued to walk and walk in the big maze never seeming to get bored. if anything one could tell she would rather take her own sweet time in the maze than at the ball itself until she came to a dead end.
She did feel time to time as if there was a constant stare lurking around her but she just shrugged of the strange feeling even though she looked around and checked.
At the end of the maze she turned back "is this it?" She murmured. She only took 4 steps when some of the lights in the maze went off. Not all but some like the maze was ready to close down. Aurora thought that maybe the ball was already over and that aunt Josephine might be looking all over for her, so she started to walk at a little faster pace. That was until she noticed someone walking towards her in the dim darkness.
She did not know why but she stopped in her tracks when she saw this tall dark figure floating under the dim light. It was like the heavens was taking her side and the moons light finally shone down in the maze it was so bright casting a gleaming glow on the whole maze itself it was Like the deep black thought it was the correct time to finally lift this agonising dark dark veil between two destined souls finally meeting.
