She jumped, looking from him to the wall in shock. "Maybe don't throw anything else. I like my limbs attached." Her smile had returned despite the sting in her shoulder. She could ignore the pain if it meant getting his head out of his ass. "What do I gain by lying to you? You already fired me and paid me more money than I've ever seen."
"Because of more fear. Prove it then." He mocked her words from earlier that day just to annoy her. "Oh wait, you can't, because you'd be dead."
"Don't be such a child Alaric. Because you know I would in a second if I knew you wouldn't beat yourself up over it. Never thought I'd see you pouting over a little blood."
"Shut the fuck. Matter of fact, go ahead. Killing you doesn't seem so bad now that I think about it." He barked out. "You don't know what it's like. But I can show you."
