Ji Sung felt fresh like he had just been reborn as a new person.
The azure sky, the singing of the birds, the warm gaze, and the clean air. His nostril has been relaxed, and he wants to take a nap instead. Such a wonderful scene. But he soon remembered what had happened before the blackout.
Strange, his body was supposed to be roten and weak right now, yet, his stamina was filled full. Yes, his belly was rumbling, but the pain was gone.
"Where am I?" He rose and snatched a wooden block next to him. His mind clouded, his memory shattered, and the last thing he remembered was being dragged by, "Kang Seon Kin, where you go, Bastard. I will smack your face."
He stroked down a green hill. He followed his instinct and paced down. "Kang Seon Jin, where are you, Bastard!"
The strange voice that resembles a helicopter slowly disturbs his earlobe. It came from behind the hill. He peeked back from his shoulder and paced up in fear.
The gigantic ship flew in the sky. It is so big, so loud, blasting grass and leaf with its terrible thin blue weave from two cylinders at its back. The ship itself resembles a galeon with two masks that waist the color white.
It flew away. The white cloud was eating it. Then, disappear. The deep sound subsided, and the melody of crisp came usually.
"This is not Seoul. This is not Seoul. It must be another dream. Wait." Ji Sung pitched his check, and it hurt. "Goddamid, Kang Seon Jin. Where is my way home, Bastard?"
He lost. Not even he could meet that Bastard, but he didn't know how to return home or to the palace when he woke up. "Great. What should I do?"
He had a class to attend. He had work to do. He had Mom to take care of. Now, he is confused about what to do in this strange world.
After a few minutes stranded without a destination, his feet anchored while the howling wolf shrouded his heart.
"What was that? A wolf? In the daylight? I must call for an animal tamer or Police." Ji Sung pulled his smartphone from his pocket, yet, it died. Perhaps his battery dropped, or water murdered it, or both.
He stared back. At the top of the hill, four wolves look hungry and angry. Whatever they want from him, it must be a bad thing.
Yet, he armed himself with a wooden blog that was strong enough to be a batling. Then he loses his will, seeing the other two tagging with another wolf, then another two. A total of eight of them starred Ji Sung.
"Sjit, shit." He rallied his pace and tried to find a hiding place or perhaps someone who could help him.
The howling came again. Ke snatched a peek and found those wolves jolting after him. Naturally, he pushed his pace to the limit.
"Stay away from me, you jerk!"
The wolf pounced on him from behind. Ji Sung turned and swung his wooden block, sending him flying against the ground.
Goddess smiled at him. These four men rode some strange bird, a griffin-like horse-sized with tiny wings. It had legs like a chicken and a gigantic beak. The bird kweeking while the rider pulled his rope.
They saw Ji Sung as they pointed at him.
The reinforcement. Ji Sung lives now. His smile widened as a tear jeered from his eyes. At last, he finds another human.
"Hey, you guys! Help me, please! Call the police! There are wolves after me!" Ji Sung yelled as he tried to reach them.
"Hey, look, someone on the hill," the man said from his strange bird. "It looks like they need help?"
"Ah, you right, he is being pursued by, wait a minute, a wolf? Low-level wolves are pursuing him!" He laughed hard, pushing his belly. "It is a joke, right?"
"Perhaps he tried to prank us?" Another man said. "Should we help him or the wolves?"
They laughed hard. Then, they started dashing with their bird with the big bird, leaving a speck of dust behind.
"Wait! Wait for me!"
Ji Sung raced on, yet, the wolf was faster. Two of them blocked his way. Ji Sung tried to evade and run in another direction, yet, another wolf jumped on him, almost clawing him. Ji Sung stepped back. Packs of wolves surround him, and they close the gaps.
Their teeth made him shiver. Their claws made his eyes tremble. The saliva dripped from their jaws, terrorizing Ji Sung. Only with a wooden block did he try to protect himself.
"Goddamid, Kang Seon Jin bastard, you brought me into this disaster. You better pray. If I survive, I will find you and pay you."
His amber eyes oversaw the wolves. Which one is going to attack first? He must be ready for anything. Yet, how could he win against eight wolves?
One wolf jumped on him. With superb Judo reflex, he bashed him off. Another one tried his luck, trying to claw with its sharp claws. Ji Sung swung his wooden block.
Then one of the wolves tugged his back, biting his neck. Blood splatter, tarnishing his jacket and cheek, dripping on his neck. Yet, Ji Sung grabbed the wolf, flung him hard, then stepped on him.
Two others leao on him, pushing him back. He crashed hard, and those wolves buried him. They tried to rip him apart. Ji Sung shovels them off, his arm being bitten, his legs, then he loses his shoes.
"No! My Air Jordan! Put that down, stupid wolf!"
"Do you need help?" The soothing voice came beside him.
"Yes! Yes! Help me. Please help me. I don't want to die, and please don't allow them to tear my shoes!"
"Well, let me think of it."
"What the—heeeeelp mee please!"
