Chapter 6 - A war of revenge

But there is one thing she knew, and it was that these people were not going because of the princess, but because of the princes, most importantly, the crown prince.

She wasn't able to hear anything that they were chatting about anymore, as her thoughts were on how to succeed in her plan. A devilish smile surfaced on her lips again, she hoped that the King, the princes, and the people of Serenia are ready for this war!

A war of revenge!

After lazing around till evening, it was time to go home and as usual, delicious dinner was cooked and served.

Some rich people said all they want was a peaceful life or maybe to live as a commoner, but to Lilith, she didn't want it. It is so boring to her! All she wants was a place to release the demon inside her, the demon that is eating her.

Of course, Lilith didn't notice one thing about herself, and that is the fact that she is changing.

She stayed up late and the next day, she was as vibrant as usual but this time around, after having breakfast, she told Harriet that she was going somewhere and might return late.

After leaving Harriet's neighborhood, Lilith walked to a popular tavern among commoners, she has ask Estelle to change her appearance, and the latter give her a beautiful appearance but can only be used for an hour in a day.

Her long fiery red hair was turned brown, and her beautiful seductive face was changed to that of an adult, still beautiful though, but not as beautiful as her original ones. Her willowy figure was also halter to look like a twenty-five years old woman, making her look extremely seductive.

Making her way inside the tavern, she sat by the side and drank her wine first. The taste of wine was heavenly and sweet, and know how to get someone drunk too as she saw some men in tattered clothes staggering out, slurping and banging their heads against the table with a gourd of wine in their arms.

She sighed as she look at the two silvers that remain in her hand, well, she robbed a drunk nouveau riche man of five silvers and use three to drink and now, she had only two, but she wasn't worried at all as she waited patiently, for money was coming in her way soon.

Suddenly, a scar-faced man entered the tavern and walked to the counter, he said something to the waitress and the waitress look in her direction before nodding.

After that, the waitress came to her and handed her two things, a pouch, and a piece of paper, one brought nonchalance and at the same time a small smile, and the other seriousness, she weighed the pouch and then walked out of the tavern, without glancing at the scar-faced man at all.

She was not in a hurry to check out the paper, but instead paused at the tavern entrance, and finally decided to go to Lucas's shop.

But who would have thought that she would bump into an unlucky thing, a drunken man to be exact?

"What a beautiful woman..." The guy salivates. No matter how Lilith changed her appearance, she never go for the ugly one, but for the passionate one, and right now, her curvy hips and tiny waist were a prove. There were silts in the dress she wore, starting from her thigh downward.

"Stay with me tonight woman, and I shall bless you." The man said, his hand reaching for the hem of her dress, and that too, in public.

A man's d*ck thinks faster than his brain, just like the man, but Lilith's hand thinks faster than her brain instead because she took out the sharp dagger from her waist, and with a whoosh, a heart-wrenching scream was heard, causing the people around to look at the man on the floor, who was now completely sober.

His face was pale in pain and fright as he hold onto his handless wrist, and everyone felt scared as they look at the man whose hand has been cut off.

They all looked at Lilith as if she was a demon, she just stood there, and light danced in her purple eyes, as if the man's scream was a beautiful melody she would never get tired of.

"That's too cruel of you, young lady, never take the word of a drunkard to heart, for he was a drunkard that didn't know what he was saying." An old woman fearlessly said, and her soft voice sounded quite loud since the area has turned eerily quiet.

Lilith chuckled softly, her laughter was as beautiful as the ring of a silver bell, and this somehow cause the men to feel somewhat awaken but remembering the once complete man lying on the floor that has now turned incomplete, they shivered in fear, for they see, that beneath that laughter was a bloody demon.
