Back at the Pagoda location.
"They are all dead." Said a male, puffing out smoke from his mouth.
"Could you tell me the reason?" A female in black inquired, looking through the ruined region.
"A sacrifice made from the bond of an angel and a demon." The former replied. "It destroyed all clues. I don't see any reason in digging further."
"Still a lazy asshole." The female in black scoffed, looking at the space which seemed to have housed a building.
"The nature of the mark suggests a Pagoda was situated in that location." The male said, not waiting for her to inquire.
"Do you think they escaped…?"
"It's possible, but my intuition tells me they are dead—Probably wanted to go down with their assailants."
"I don't think Emperor Caesar would like this." The female commented.
"He gave the reins to the angels and demons. I don't see any reason for him to be dissatisfied."
The male was tired of the situation and didn't want to talk any further on the matter, so he tried to discourage the female.
"Any clues on the kid?" She asked, not minding his attempt to close the topic of discussion.
"You are such a pain in the ass, Susan. How many times do I have to tell you, the clues were wiped out!"
"Do you have to shout?!" The female named Susan, snarled at the male.
"Let's return." He said in an attempt to change the mood.
Their Ruler, Emperor Caesar, had requested they run some investigations on the angel and demon runaway. As his subject and an organization under his reign, they could not refute.
'He was the one who left them to the angels and demons, now he's asking us to search for them. What a confused man?' the male thought as he moved forward.
"You are going to report the situation," Susan commanded, giving her mate no chance to refuse.
"I'm in for a world of torment."
The two detectives walked to a vehicle parked away from the horror scene.
"Shall we leave, sirs?" The person inside the vehicle commented, referring to Susan as a sir.
"Transporters are really a pain in the ass," Susan muttered, glaring at the driver.

After exiting the vehicle, Susan headed inside the huge building with the words, 'National Detective Agency' written on its entrance.
"Welcome, ma'am!" The receptionist said, giving Susan a light bow to which she replied with a wave.
"Welcome, Sir!" She said to the male who entered behind Susan.
Unlike Susan, he did not reply, rushing to the staircase by his left.
"Now I have to contact that Emperor." He grumbled under his breath. "What a hassle."
After a light walk, the male arrived at a door. "Annoying." He commented.
Stretching his arm outright, he grabbed the doorknob, twisting it to the right.
Creak
Hidden behind the door was a well-arranged office with a comfy sofa by the side. The desk was filled with papers of different textures giving the impression of a bustling office.
"Paper works! Annoying." He iterated, glaring at the pile. "I'll just contact him first."
Situated on the wall was a mirror. The male-only needed to stand before it for the mirror to light up.
"Detective Conan." A stern voice came from the other end.
"Good day, Your Highness." The male called Conan said, bowing to the mirror.
"What were your discoverings on the matter?" The voice asked.
"The angel and demon performed a sacrifice, devastating the region," Conan replied, his head still bowed. "There was nothing to uncover."
"Too bad. I thought they could be used." The voice said, unperturbed by the situation. "Anyway, no need to cry over spilled beans."
The moment he finished speaking, the connection was cut off.
"Same as always—So self-centered," Conan commented, walking to his seat.
"No need to cry over spilled beans, huh." Conan scoffed at those words, his eyes taking a dark hue.

Stiles POV
Is this heaven or hell? I couldn't answer that question. My Mom always talked of going to heaven if you did good deeds and going to hell if you did hideous deeds.
I won't consider their actions to sacrifice their lives for me as good deeds and I'll not consider asking to be killed a good deed, so I'm supposed to be in hell. Right?
Before me stood a fortress, and behind me a forest. I could also see people entering and leaving the fortress with different modes of transportation. This place is nothing like my depiction of heaven or hell.
"Hey, kid!" A voice called out to me from afar, drawing my attention to a group of individuals exiting the woods.
The fortress gate was that way, so I was stunned to see them coming from the other side.
Are they demons?
Observing them closely, they seemed like a race called humans. From the way they talked to the way they moved, their clothing also supported my theory.
"Who are you?" I inquired curiously, my eyes trailing to the lifeless body in their possession. A boar, I guess.
"Hunters." Replied a burly man, exposing his brownish teeth.
"Ohh!"
Now I know. They must have gone hunting in the forest, so exiting from any side won't be much of a surprise.
"And you?" He asked.
I contemplated for a while on what to say, until I sighted the ax latched to his back.
"A human eater," I said, revealing my teeth in an attempt to scare them.
"What a cute boy." A woman shoved the man to the side, looking at me like a priceless piece of art.
Seems my act backfired. "I'm a demon, believe me."
From the records, humans don't have a good relationship with demons. So this should cut it.
"No horns."
My father does not possess horns.
"No wings."
My father does not possess wings.
"I can't feel miasma from you."
Now I have to wonder the reason for that.
"A disguise," I said in an attempt to make them believe.
"Let's go to the fortress then." The woman proposed, gripping my hands.
My Dad is a demon, so if these humans can figure that out, they might be willing to end me. It was a worthy attempt.
"I'll come along."
"Hippie!!!"
Now to the fortress, where I shall gain my glory.
